I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 506: Pixie

The beam reached the sixth magic circle, just one more and it will destroy them instantly.

"Legion!" Avery's voice echoed around them. "Escape now. Once they discover her, it will be the end."

"Her?" Madam Locraine narrowed her eyes. She took out a pair of magical glasses and saw an entity above Legion. "What in the hell is that?"

"Avery, you treacherous b*tch," Legion growled. "By warning me, you also let the enemies know of her existence. Now they see her."

Avery appeared behind him. She was all bruised up, burnt, and weakened heavily. "Let's get out of here. If their comrades would come, then it will be the end."

"I am not going down without a fight," Legion said. "Now that they are aware of your existence, why don't you show yourself to the crowd, Pixie."

A wisp of pink light ignited right by Legion's head. The wisp slowly formed a small woman with a pair of butterfly wings, resembling a fairy.

"Finally, I could join the fight," Pixie crossed her arms and smirked. "I will be a much valuable asset in this fight considering I'm the strongest Vassal."

"There's another one?" Connor groaned. "We already have a hard time with one, then there's more?"

"Yes," Elliot walked towards them with the rest of their allies behind him. "And there's definitely more of us."

"That doesn't matter to Legion and me," Pixie said proudly. "Avery could still help if she wants to, but this is a piece of cake for us."

"Right," Legion nodded. The final magic circle completed its rotation and it fired a powerful beam toward them. The beam had an incredibly powerful energy that blocking it would be a bad idea.

"Maybe you forgot," Ed smirked. He raised his sword and let the Chaos Knight pull the rest of its body from Ed's shadow. It jumped forward and faced the shield in front of it as the beam attacked and dissipated. "I can nullify magic."

Legion slapped himself, making everyone gasp at the sudden reaction. He clenched his fists and grit his teeth as he watched Ed nullify every ounce of his magic.

"I told you it wouldn't work," Legion said to himself. "But you still forced it. Now, what do we do?"

There was a silence that followed. It was evident that even Pixie and Avery got scared of Legion's reaction.

"They led us to do this, so we should let them have a taste of what they wanted," Legion said. "Have you ever witnessed, a birth of the Forsaken?"

"Legion," Pixie tried to speak but she was aggressively pushed back with Legion's hand. "Don't do this. There are certain restrictions on our powers. You were given the Paragons, sealed inside you because you were the most stable among all of us."

"Shut up!" Legion yelled. "Sacrificing the souls of three hundred Paragons won't hurt us. Besides, what Malice doesn't know won't hurt her, so I don't get why you're so worried."

"Let's start the ritual," Legion grinned. He raised both of his hands on either side of him and let himself hover in the air. Legion closed his eyes as three hundred orbs of light surrounded him.

"Stop him!" Pixie yelled. "Once he creates a synthetic Forsaken, it will be the end of all life in Terra."

"What is he even doing?" Frederick asked. "And you're his ally, aren't you? Why are you trying to help us?"

"Because if he successfully creates the Forsaken, my life would end too," Pixie said in horror.

Almost immediately after she said that, the Terrans launched their simultaneous attacks.

"Please," Pixie said as they watched Legion with his three hundred orbs. "Stop him."

Legion was by far the enemy that they encountered with a vast magic pool. Any attack was countered by an even more powerful and numerous attacks that the best way of attacking was evading.

The orbs that his body released earlier were capable of such magic because these were the souls of the Paragons that were placed inside Legion. They defended Legion as he chanted the ritual to create the synthetic Forsaken.

"Creation Altar!" Legion yelled. He raised both of his hands as an altar manifested itself behind him. The altar had six Corinthian-styled columns that formed an arc to surround a well at the center.

Its floor was a stone pyramid shape that had six orbs on the sides to which the altars were attached to. Its size was huge as it hovered behind Legion who one by one sucked the orbs into the well.

"What can we do?" Frederick panted. "This is endless. Whatever attack we launch, it will get countered by an even more powerful attack."

Pixie and Avery looked at each other in worry. They were scared for their lives too, but they knew that they could do something to prevent a catastrophe.

"You can do something, can you?" Elliot asked them after he felt his instincts kick in. "My gut is telling me that you have an idea as to how to deal with this. If you know, just tell us and we will find a way to do it."

Pixie and Avery were still silent. A roar sounded from the well behind Legion as a shadow hovered behind the altar. The mere shape of the shadow would send horrors down anyone's spine as it looked ominous and horrifying.

"Pixie, Avery," Elliot called out. "If you don't tell us what it is, then we're all going to die here."

"If we do it, then we'll die either way," Avery said. "We have no means of protecting ourselves from the chain that she put on us. Whichever choice we have to do, then we'll perish still."

"This can't go on," Pixie groaned when the synthetic Forsaken's aura started to manifest. "I am the one who interfered with the interdimensional gates. If I disable it, then the Behemoths will enter this realm and they can stop Legion before he finishes his ritual."

"Then do it," Luck scoffed. "If you know how to do it, then why haven't you done it?"

"Because the moment I disable the interference, Bruno will enter and he will kill us," Pixie said. "This ritual has its restrictions just like I said. It cannot be performed in Terra, so this small realm will be the most optimal place to do it."

Elliot smiled at her. "Don't worry about this Bruno. We will protect you."

"You don't understand," Pixie shook her head slowly. "Bruno is powerful, much more than us."

"I don't think he'll be a match against the Behemoths," Elliot said. "You said it yourself, if you disable the interference, the Behemoths will come. I will make sure that we protect you."

"A-Alright then," Pixie said after a moment of deliberation. "We entrust our lives to you."

Elliot smiled. "We promise to protect you."

Pixie sighed and let herself get swallowed by a pink flame. She crossed her hands like she was praying and closed her eyes. "Interference Disable."

Right after she said that, four dark auras entered the realm. A few more noticeable auras entered and all of them were coming toward them.

In a blink of an eye, Pixie and Avery turned to stone as Bruno hovered over everyone. "You though I would personally kill you? No. The curse will do that for me."
