"We better hurry." Lukas said as he didn't feel good about the trembling of the earth.
Igor must be doing something.
The others nodded and they ran as fast as they could towards where the portal was.
The red tint in the sky started to turn into a shade of darker red as they moved.
They looked up into the sky and had the same feeling as Lukas.
It didn't take them too long to arrive, and they saw Igor planting some device next to a dark opening.
Lukas separated his shadow from him, and it got to where Igor was.
As Igor tried to press at a button on the device, his hand froze after it was grabbed by Lukas's shadow.
He glanced back to see what was happening.
"You..." Igor narrowed his eyes and grunted.
Lukas tried to use his lightning prison ability, but he felt a flood of emotions filling his mind.
Anger, pain, happiness and sorrow.
They flooded him all at once.
Lukas quickly shook his head and tried to get out of it.
Terry saw what had happened and he raised his hands at Igor.
Blue glow appeared from his hands and darted at Igor.
Igor gave out a maniacal laughter, and he ripped his arm that was held by Lukas's shadow from his body.
After that, Igor leaped away, and Terry's blue glow missed.
Igor then flung two capsules at Lukas and Terry.
Boom.
The capsules gave out an explosion and Lukas went into his ether realm.
Two scorpions that were twice as large as an adult emerged from the explosions.
The scorpion nearest to Terry tried to sting at him with its pointed tail.
Thud.
A loud thud could be heard as its tail plunged into the ground.
Terry had managed to roll to the side and dodged the attack.
He quickly used his ability on the tail of the huge scorpion.
The blue glow darted onto the tail, and it turned into a tint of blue.
Lin followed up with her claymore sword.
She unleashed a slicing wave at the tail and sliced it off from the huge scorpion.
Damien then unleashed his amber glowing balls at the huge scorpion.
Boom.
Explosion ensued when his amber glowing balls hit onto the hard shell of the huge scorpion.
The explosion managed to crack the hard shell of the scorpion.
Carlo and Mena then lunged at it from the air.
They made use of their metallic bodies to hammer onto the cracks on the huge scorpion's body.
Meanwhile on the other side, Riley unleashed his lightning strike at the huge scorpion.
"Lukas take care of Igor. We will handle this." Riley shouted.
Emma threw a huge poison net at the huge scorpion in the next moment.
The poison net landed onto the huge scorpion, and it tried to struggle free from the poison net.
Ironically, its struggles made it worse, and the poison net got more entangled with it instead.
Sizzle.
Burning smell filled the air as soon as the poison net worked its way through the hard shell of the huge scorpion.
Angered with what was happening, the huge scorpion tried to use its pincer to grab onto Terry.
A rock wall rose from the ground and protected Terry.
Rex came at the huge scorpion with his spiky rock whip next.
Crack.
His spiky rock whip lashed onto the pincer and cracked the hard shell of the pincer.
Harianto who was standing beside Rex then pointed his plasma cannons at the huge scorpion's pincer.
Bam.
He shot his plasma cannons at it.
The plasma shots hit, and the pincer of the huge scorpion was blasted into smithereens.
Not far away, Igor ignored the blood that was dripping from his wound where he had ripped his arm off.
He tried to press onto the button on the device that he had placed next to the portal.
Lukas in his ether realm had brushed off most of the emotions triggered by Igor's ability.
He knew he had to stop Igor before he pressed the button.
In a blink of an eye, Lukas appeared next to Igor.
He didn't hesitate and swung his plasma katana upwards.
Slice.
The plasma katana sliced through the arm of Igor like a knife through butter.
Igor was full of anger when he saw his last remaining hand drop onto the ground.
Having no other options, Igor tried to lunge at the button with his body.
But he couldn't do so as he felt his innards and body being pulled to the ground.
Lukas had used his Gravity ability onto Igor.
Plop.
As Igor dropped to his knees, he looked up at the button of the device with despair.
He was so close.
Lukas then came to the back of Igor and swung his arms across.
It brought the blades of his plasma katanas through Igor's neck.
Blood spurted onto the ground and Igor's head rolled a distance away from Lukas.
Lukas glanced back and saw that the two huge scorpions were taken care of by Riley and the others.
A familiar sound erupted in his mind.

"We've done it?" Rex exclaimed excitedly.
The others nodded and gave out a sigh of relief.
They glanced at the device, which was whirring, and they were glad that they made it in time.
What would have happened if Igor had released the Transcendent Tiered demonic beasts over?
Lukas knew it wasn't over yet, and he glanced at Harianto.
"Harianto, can you check and see what this device can do?" He said and Harianto walked over to the device.
Lukas remembered that Igor's original purpose here wasn't to release the Transcendent Tiered demonic beasts.
The device might be able to do something else.
Harianto raised his hand at the device and white glow darted at the device from his hands.
Lukas stood on alert beside him like old times.
Everyone else also waited for Harianto anxiously amidst the darkening red sky.
After a few moments, Harianto withdrew the white glow from the device.
"I've figured it out..."
