Lukas glanced over to his right side where Terry and Terry's teammates were.
The jackal-like demonic beasts on their side were now marked in blue by Terry using his ability.
Lin followed up with her claymore sword, giving out an amber wind blade.
When the wind blade came into contact with the jackal-like demonic beasts, it gave out an explosion.
Damien, Carlo and Mena supported them from behind.
It took them a few moments longer than Lukas to finish them off.
They didn't stop and continued on their way immediately.
As they ran, they saw something strange ahead of them.
Demonic beasts were fighting among themselves.
There was a larger group with their foxlike heads and their bodies that were like apes with skin flaps hanging down from their limbs.
These foxlike demonic beasts were fighting against a group that was varied in form and size.
One looked like a lump of slimy liquid, another was a huge reptile-like demonic beast spewing out poisonous saliva from its mouth.
Lastly, there were two bear-like demonic beasts pawing their way through the larger group.
Lukas glanced over at Terry, pointed to an open path on Terry's side.
He wasn't interested in fighting these demonic beasts, best for them to move on with what they were tasked to accomplish.
Terry nodded and they started to head towards the open path.
They were halfway through when a foxlike demonic beast was hurled into their path by one of the bear-like demonic beasts.
This brought attention to the other demonic beasts.
Growling with anger, some of the demonic beasts turned their attention against Lukas and the others.
Lukas swung his plasma katana at the foxlike demonic beasts that came at him.
They tried to block with the skin flaps hanging from their arms but it wasn't strong enough against his plasma katanas.
Splatter.
The arms were flung into the air after they were sliced off.
Lukas didn't stop and he turned the plasma katanas upwards and thrust them at the heads of the demonic beasts.
The plasma katana plunged through from the jaws of the foxlike demonic beast and protruded out from the top of their heads.
Plop.
When Lukas pulled out the blades, the two foxlike demonic beasts dropped to the ground.
More of these foxlike demonic beasts lunged at Lukas when they saw what had happened.
Some came at him on the ground, and some leaped into the air, flapping with their skin flaps awkwardly.
Boom.
They shot to the ground and smashed into it when they got near.
Lukas had used his Gravity ability to make the surroundings have six times more gravity.
The foxlike demonic beasts which were on the ground struggled to get up.
But they weren't able to do so.
Lukas then raised his hands into the air.
Flashes of lightning appeared.
Pillars of lightning formed within a few moments, and they descended onto the demonic beasts.
Splatter.
All around Lukas, the bodies of the foxlike demonic beasts were hit by the pillars of lightning and splattered into pieces.
Fear struck the other surviving foxlike demonic beasts when they witnessed what was happening.
The pillars of lightning had now formed into a cage and ravaged through those trapped within.
These foxlike demonic beasts wanted to run away from Lukas.
However, ice crystals appeared in the air in their surroundings.
Their feet were covered in a layer of ice as ice pillars rose from the ground.
The ice engulfed the demonic beasts, and they became ice statues immediately.
Crack.
They cracked into pieces as the ice pillars ripped through their frozen bodies.
Soon, there were none of the foxlike demonic beasts still alive.
And when Lukas glanced at the remaining demonic beasts that looked different.
The slimy lump of liquid came at him, and Lukas used his Gravity ability on it.
It splashed to the ground immediately.
Ice crystals began forming and it froze the slimy lump of liquid.
And the ensuing ice pillars ripped through the frozen slimy lump, shattering it into pieces.
The huge reptile-like demonic beast didn't wait, and it opened its mouth, came at Lukas from his side.
But before it could reach him, it was stopped by something that had held onto its limbs.
Lukas had used his shadows on the reptile-like demonic beast.
He lunged at it with his plasma katanas.
Slice.
The plasma katanas came down and sliced through the head of the huge reptile-like demonic beast.
Lukas then leaped away as the demonic beast thrashed around from pain, spewing its poisonous saliva into the surroundings.
Roar.
The remaining two bear-like demonic beasts pawed at Lukas from a distance.
Their paws emitted a golden glowing wave at Lukas.
When the golden glowing waves got near, Lukas disappeared right in front of their eyes.
The bear-like demonic beasts roared and stood up.
They tried to sniff the air to locate Lukas.
But it was no use as Lukas was in his ether realm.
Frustrated they turned their attention on the others.
They raised their front paws and tried to paw at Emma and Margaret.
But before they could do so, they saw their front paws fall off onto the ground.
Blood dripped from the wounds.
Pain then struck them, and they gave out a roar.
Lukas had appeared again and sliced their front paws off with his plasma katanas.
He swung his arms to his back and leaped into the air.
Slice.
Lukas swiped the plasma katanas across, and they sliced the heads off the bear-like demonic beasts.
Blood spurted out from the headless bodies of the demonic beasts and the headless bodies dropped onto the ground.
A familiar sound erupted in his mind as he looked at the surroundings.

There were body parts of demonic beasts strewn around him.
Lukas felt the familiar surge of energy coming into his body.
"Let's proceed."
Lukas spoke into his earbuds and the others nodded.
Tremble.
Before they continued on their way, the ground started to tremble.
