Chapter 56: Floor Boss Mechanism, Arrival
Ainen popped out of the ground not far from the mountain base.
After putting the Tier-2 Blue Slicing Rose in the inventory, he looked at the announcement.
'Region unlocked?'
Ainen blinked.
He flew up high and soon saw a large pillar of light far away.
'Is that the area?'
Ainen's eyes glinted.
He descended and met up with Naresh and others.
"We will go to the Floor Boss area, but we will hunt for resources on the way. All resources." Ainen's eyes glinted. "Since I got attacked unprovoked once, we might get attacked more, and I don't want to use this bangle to escape so soon."
"Sounds good."
"You all can eat the new dishes I make and get strong."
Ainen's plan was simple. It wasn't wise to move solo anymore. So he would find the people he was friends with and make them strong with his food, so they could all survive.
"It'd be best if we could meet up with people from Sacred Aurelian. With them, others won't dare to attack you," Naresh said.
"Yeah. Since the Floor Boss region has been unlocked, everyone will head there and meet up," Volmik said with a grin. "Our party also has two level 200 Adept-rank Adventurers who are our long-time seniors."
"Those Torion Kingdom bastards won't dare to attack you." Toram snorted.
And so, the group departed, heading towards the Floor Boss region.
From a distance, it was pretty far. Easily over a hundred kilometers.
As Ainen and others travelled at a considerable fast pace while collecting resources he found through his Elemental Resonance passive skill, they also met other people.
The party gradually got bigger as Ainen invited familiar people to the party, and nobody could refuse because of the free food for buffs and stat boost.
Since everyone was heading towards the same place, people in the same pathway as Ainen and others were bound to meet.
Diana was with Remia, Naresh's Awakened-rank party member, and they joined the group first since they encountered Ainen and others rather early.
They also met a level 200 guy, Andras Lakh from Sacred Aurelian's Adept-rank party, and seeing Ainen, he readily accompanied them.
Because both parties of Sacred Aurelian had strict orders to protect Ainen. Not only them, Yelvina had also told both parties of Mistbound Magic Tower to protect Ainen, since he could potentially become a member of Mistbound Magic Tower.
On the way, Ainen took breaks every 20 minutes to cook food and eat, gradually increasing the stats of everyone.
'Something is wrong with Torion Kingdom's parties. They really want me dead. Did you look at their faces when they saw me?'
'Indeed.'
Ainen met some people from the Torion Kingdom who wanted to join his party, but he flatly refused, and others had no objection.
Why would they object? To get kicked and lose out on Ainen's food? Hell no.
And so, by the time they reached the Floor Boss Area, two hours had passed by.
Almost all people were already gathered there, so the parties were complete with everyone finding their members, except for some who died or escaped using the bangle due to getting into a dire situation threatening their lives.
The Floor Boss Region was a huge empty ground covering a 1-kilometer radius with the Floor Boss standing in the middle.
It was a two-headed giant ogre with demonic horns.
'So the floor boss doesn't have level or life-rank, huh?' Ainen was surprised as he saw the status of the floor boss.

[ Note: The stats of the boss will increase by 5% per person beyond the first ten people who enter. ]
"We have already measured the stats of this boss. They are quite powerful, but nothing we can't handle," Dylan Vopuntail, the leader of Mistbound Tower's main party, said. "But not everyone can enter that area to fight the boss, as you can see. The more people go in, the stronger it becomes."
"Since we have the main parties of both Sacred Aurelian and Mistbound Tower that consist of ten level 200 Adept-rank Adventurers, the ten of us will enter." Viena Raindrop, the leader of the Sacred Aurelian, said.
Ainen's jaw dropped. "Wait! I want to fight the boss. Andras, what do you think?"
Andras, one of the level 200 of Sacred Aurelian, who had been accompanying Ainen and others for two hours, wryly smiled.
"Ainen, this floor boss is dangerous. A single mistake can cost your life. You aren't even fully geared despite your level, so you won't survive if you get hit by a solid skill," Viena indifferently said. "Sorry, but you won't be entering this fight. We have a task to keep you safe."
"Actually, he can be a good asset," Andras said. "I know, it might sound absurd, but Ainen here has strong skills. If I may be frank, in terms of speed, he is faster than all of us, so he won't have a problem dodging."
"In terms of defense, his glass barrier can withstand my strongest attack before breaking, but it keeps him safe since he'd have plenty of time to zoom away with his fast flight speed by the time his defense breaks."
"And in terms of attack…let's just say his firepower is not lacking compared to his speed and defense."
Andras coughed and continued. "So yeah. Don't look at his level, his stats are already above 100 in Adept-rank because of his food, and his combat arsenal is solid."
"Andras, if you are saying that, then it must be true. We haven't seen the full capability of this new junior who is going to join us."
"That's right. Viena, how about letting him in?"
"We still have his food dishes saved. Those alone will give us more buffs that will make this boss a piece of cake with our combined might."
"Indeed."
"I have no objection," Dylan said as he looked at Viena. "It's your call."
Viena looked at Ainen, who simply smiled.
'Shit, what if I use the boss's body as an ingredient?'
Ainen's eyes sparkled. 'I guess I am going to change my catalyst soon. A catalyst with a floor boss as an ingredient alongside a bunch of other stuff.'
'That…means Legendary quality Magic Core incoming,' Lord Black said.
…
"The Squads are here. Remmy is also here with the Isolation Artifact."
"Let's wrap this up."
"Enact an isolation barrier first so they can't send any contact outside. We must complete this task without any hiccups."
"Heh, we have two King-rank and two Lord-rank. It's already overkill."
"That said, are we killing those two women or keeping them alive?"
"Capture alive, of course. Fortunately, no one else was using Isolation Artifact, so we can use it to complete this smoothly and get some specimens alive for our mages to experiment with."
"Good. So when are we going to attack?"
"Barrier enacting. Three, two, one."
…
Yelvina and Lilian were sitting at a table several meters in front of the Labyrinth gate, drinking tea.
The Isolation Artifact's barrier quietly covered the area of a 200-meter radius around the Labyrinth gate, covering everyone.
Yelvina and Lilian both sensed something, but it was already too late since the barrier was already established.
"What the fuck?" Yelvina frowned and looked up, only to see a bunch of people covered in black robes slowly descending and passing through the barrier.
The other people frowned as they saw them.
"Who are you all?"
Someone voiced out.
In response, the foremost person who was looking only at Lilian and Yelvina opened his mouth as he gave a chilling order.
"Kill everyone except for those two. And Adept-rank squads, enter the Labyrinth."
