I Cook Limitlessly In a Fantasy World

Chapter 55: Floor Boss Region Unlocked

[ Congratulations. You have cleared the challenge: Black Tide Rush. The reward will be given based on individual performances. ]

Chef Ainen—7000 low-grade Mana Stones, 1 Gold Treasure Chest, 1 Silver Treasure Chest, 1 Bronze Treasure Chest.

Naresh Havan—2500 low-grade Mana Stones, 1 Silver Treasure Chest, 1 Bronze Treasure Chest.

Hammer Neilson—1700 low-grade Mana Stones, 1 Bronze Treasure Chest.

Volmik Kittar—1000 low-grade Mana Stones, 1 Bronze Treasure Chest.

Toram Menolin—800 low-grade Mana Stones, 1 Bronze Treasure Chest.

Ainen opened all three of his treasure chests right away.

From the Gold Chest, he got one Tier-3 Resource of Rare-grade!

From the Silver Chest, he got a Tier-2 Weapon of Epic-grade! It was a Dagger of Darkness/Poison/Wind attributes.

'Nice. This can become a solid ingredient for something. Oh wait. Let me feed this dagger to the bomb.'

Ainen's eyes glinted. He directly input the Dagger inside the mystical space of his Arsenal of Arcane Innate talent.

The dagger broke down and soon turned into a volatile energy that infused into the bomb.

Afterward, Ainen opened the Bronze Chest.

It gave him a Tier-1 Legendary-grade resource of the Lightning element!

"This is a good find!" Ainen's eyes shone. 'I guess Ron is getting his custom-made awakening food first. But I'll collect Syl's one as well and give them both at the same time.'

Syl wanted Ice, and Ron wanted Lightning.

A Tier-1 Legendary-rank resource of Lightning attribute could become a perfect core for a recipe with a chance to awaken Lightning Manipulation.

'I can surely make something like that. The Magic Tower will have a proper compendium of information on Tier-1 resources. That should help me cook the recipes perfectly.'

Ainen looked up at the floor's exotic sky. 'Or maybe I might find all the stuff I need in this Labyrinth.'

"It looks like nine challenges are completed already. Just one more and we'll find out about the area of the Floor Boss," Naresh said as he walked towards Ainen.

Ainen grinned. "Great. I can't wait to fight the floor boss."

"We got tons of meat as well, so lemme cook a feast and power up."

Ainen took out the Wagon Diner. 'Once I sell a bit more, it will level up.'

"You will cook food now for everyone?" Naresh raised his eyebrows.

"Yep. The price of the food dishes is just 1 Mana Stone." Ainen smiled.

Who cares about price now? He had tons of ingredients he just got from that challenge, since he had stored a few hundred corpses of Adept-rank monsters that were killed by others because the monster he killed with his flames turned into ash, unusable.

"For real?!" Toram exclaimed upon hearing Ainen's words.

"Buy however many you can."

"Let's fucking go! You're the best!"

After cooking and eating, Ainen's stats looked better. He had also leveled up a bunch by killing Adept-rank monsters.

[Chef Ainen]

Level: 150

Liferank: Adept.

—Magic Core: Pentatronix Dynamo (Epic)

Class: Mystic Chef (SSS)

Innate Talent:

—> I Cook Limitlessly.

—> Arsenal of Arcane.

Stats: 162

—> Vitality: Ⅲ 46 Ⅲ + 60%

—> Strength: Ⅲ 42 Ⅲ + 60%

—> Stamina: Ⅲ 44 Ⅲ + 60%

—> Agility: Ⅲ 45 Ⅲ + 60%

—> Cognition: Ⅲ 45 Ⅲ + 60%

—> Arcane: Ⅲ 88 Ⅲ + 60%

—> Mana: Ⅲ 90 Ⅲ + 60%

The maximum level of Adept-rank was 200, but this challenge only had Adept-rank Monsters up to level 150, so Ainen could only level up to 150.

Saffa, Clovelle, and Fraisea weren't motivated to kill yet since their levels reached 154 from 150 after killing those three Adept-rank Adventurers who attacked Ainen.

"Man, I can't believe I will be able to break through to Adept-rank soon." Volkim was moved. "I finally got all stats to 100."

"Same. Eating food to increase stats…who knew I would be blessed to experience that?"

"True. Usually, only those rich and strong establishments have food and pills that increase stats."

"We have eaten and rested enough. It's time to move." Hammer said and turned to Ainen. "Either we find a challenge, or we just hunt in this mountain until someone completes the tenth challenge and shows the floor boss area."

[First Floor Challenge Index]

-Total Challenges: 50

—> Challenge completed: [9/50]

-Total challenges required to complete until the Floor Boss's awakening. [9/10].

"Let's go. We gotta continue to explore and hunt." Ainen laughed. "If you all find Ice or Lightning-attributed resources or monsters, I'll buy them."

"What buy? Stop joking. You already gave us invaluable food. How can we take money?" Hammer snorted. "Alright, let's go."

"Wait, I just remembered something." Ainen suddenly remembered about Prine Maurin and others who had camped outside the barrier.

"There were actually more people, but I didn't let them in since I didn't trust them." Ainen's expression turned somber. "I was attacked by a party from Torion Kingdom who gathered together because of some kind of device."

"They fuckign almost killed me."

Naresh frowned. "That…why did that do that?"

"It was completely unprovoked. I didn't do shit." Ainen wryly smiled.

Saffa and others also smelled their mother's scent on Irnia, the sister of Prince Maurin.

There was something he didn't know, so he didn't want to trust that Prince Maurin.

"Let me check if they are still there."

Ainen flew up and saw that the camp was still there. "They are still here. Eating my food, heh."

Well, Ainen and others only spent twenty minutes killing 10,000 Monsters and clearing the challenge.

'That person is level 200 and his stats are almost all at 200.'

Adept-rank's maximum level was 200, and the maximum foundational points in each stat one could have were also 200.

So that person was almost at the peak of the Adept rank. Moreover, Ainen could see that the boost that person had from his Magic Core was 50%! It meant he also had an Epic-rank Core. Ainen's Epic-rank Core was better, so it gave a 60% boost.

'So his total stats, not counting my food's buff, are already 300…damn. He can one-shot me.' Ainen frowned.

'Yeah, he can definitly one-shot. To match him despite your superior magic ability, you need your stats at over 100,' Lord Black said.

'They don't know that the barrier was gone while we were inside the challenge. They haven't noticed us at all, heh.'

Ainen descended.

"What do you want to do?" Naresh asked. "Meet them or ignore and continue our way?"

"Ignore and continue our way. Let's go."

Ainen's body suddenly glowed with a faint brown glow. "You all go. I'll move through the ground with my new ability to grab some resources I've already found."

His elemental Resonance had already sensed some resources within a 10-kilometer radius of this mountain. He had already taken most Tier-1 and Tier-2 resources he had found from the side where Prince Maurin and others planned to explore, but the other side of the mountain was still up for grabs.

And he had acquired a perfect ability to travel unhindered and directly beside the resources—Eartbound Travel, which unlocked when his Magic Core was refined to 80%.

Earthbound Travel: You can travel through the ground seamlessly at the cost of 1% Mana per second.

'I should also activate the other ability. The cost is offset by my Mana Recove easily anyway.'

His Magic Core's first ability—

Pentamon Lamination Armor: At the cost of 10 Mana per second, your body is protected by +500 Omni-Elemental Resistance, and there's a 20% chance to convert elemental damage you receive into healing.

His natural Mana Recovery was 60 Mana per second. 10 original, which was boosted by 600% from the stat bonus of his Magic Core.

As Ainen went around collecting resources while descending the mountain, twenty minutes more passed by before everyone on the first floor heard an announcement.

[10 challenges have been completed. The Floor Boss region has been unlocked. Head there and defeat the floor boss if you wish to advance to the next floor.]
