I Choose In The One Piece Class, Do I Have A Choice?

Chapter 85: Fight As Long As You Fight, Why Is There Such A Bad Move? (5/5)

The storm swirled, and Kizaru's expression froze as his gaze darted up to the sky.

"Huh? What's that?"

A moment ago, the sky was clear. Now, dark clouds boiled overhead, sparking with lightning that danced like serpents.

"Nine Heavens Divine Thunder, command it with a sword, and tremble forevermore!"

With a swift movement, Finn propelled himself into the air, his feet leaving the ground as he aimed the celestial sword at the storm.

Crack!

A massive bolt of blue lightning descended, drawn to Finn's sword like iron to a magnet.

Kizaru's eyes widened. "Oh? Struck by lightning? Seriously?"

He couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Finn had summoned lightning, and now—aiming his sword—he directed the crackling energy straight toward him!

Crack!

The bolt slammed into Kizaru, paralyzing him momentarily with a bone-deep numbness.

"Dammit! You actually hit me with lightning!" Kizaru exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief as he staggered to the side, green smoke curling from his singed hair.

"Laser!" Kizaru raised his finger and fired a golden beam straight for Finn's heart, hoping to disrupt his control over the storm.

Clang!

With a deft flick, Finn's sword intercepted the laser mid-air, splitting it down the middle. The beam fractured, arcing harmlessly into the sky on either side of him.

"Nani?!"

Kizaru's eyes bulged, incredulous. How could anyone split light itself? Even Armament Haki couldn't pull off such a feat!

Before Kizaru could recover, another thunderbolt streaked toward him.

Most would have been hit instantly, but Kizaru's reflexes, sharpened by his mastery of the Glint-Glint Fruit, were different.

"Lightning's fast, but it's still slower than light." He smirked, transforming into a streak of light and reappearing in another location, confident he'd escaped the attack.

Crackle!

But the bolt struck him anyway, igniting the air around him with a searing intensity.

Kizaru grimaced, smoke now billowing from his entire body. "What the hell?! I dodged it!"

Finn chuckled. "This is no ordinary lightning—it's bound by the Nine Heavens Thunder Art. Once locked, it finds you, no matter where you hide."

"You..." Kizaru muttered, glaring at Finn, who stood unfazed amidst the chaos.

Finn raised his sword again, pointing it skyward. This time, multiple bolts of violet lightning swirled together, forming a vast net that plummeted down upon Kizaru with explosive force.

Boom!

The sky roared with the energy of the blast, and when the smoke cleared, Kizaru knelt in mid-air, his eyes bloodshot and his body trembling from the aftershock.

"Impossible... The power has increased tenfold..." His voice quivered as he realized the paralyzing effect had dulled his nerves.

"Is that the best an Admiral can offer?" Finn's voice echoed, calm and distant, as if he had already won.

Kizaru's face hardened. "Don't underestimate me!"

He rocketed into the sky, becoming a blinding flash of light. "Eight-foot Qiongyu Hook!"

Golden beams rained down in a fiery barrage, enveloping Finn in a web of deadly light.

But Finn wasn't fazed. With his sword swirling like a dancer in the air, he deflected each beam with effortless precision.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Each laser was swatted away, crashing harmlessly into the sea, sending up massive waves.

From below, the female soldiers aboard the ship were mesmerized by the spectacle.

"Look at him!" one gasped. "He fights with such grace. It's like a dance."

"So handsome... no, describing him as handsome is an insult to him. He's beyond words!"

Robin watched from the deck, her gaze lingering on Finn. Despite his power, she couldn't forget the young man who still held a place in her heart. "Strength like that... it's rare."

Kizaru, realizing his ranged attacks were futile, shifted strategy. "Since you're using a sword, I'll meet you blade-to-blade!"

He materialized a glowing sword of light in his hand and vanished, moving with blinding speed.

"Have you ever tasted a strike from the speed of light?" Kizaru taunted as he appeared behind Finn, his sword slashing toward Finn's waist.

Clang!

Finn's sword was already there, blocking the strike with ease.

"Your sword intent is locked by me. You can't touch me." Finn's voice was calm, unbothered.

Kizaru's brow furrowed. Sword intent? Was such a thing even real? He had heard rumors, but this—this was beyond his understanding.

"You're no ordinary swordsman, are you?" Kizaru murmured, shaken by the sheer ease with which Finn wielded his power.

Finn merely smiled. "Swordsman? No. That title is long gone. I am something beyond that."

Kizaru's shock deepened. "What do you mean?"

"Let me show you."

With a wave of his sword, flames ignited along its edge, and with a fluid motion, Finn unleashed a blazing attack.

Kizaru smirked. "I am Light itself. Fire can't harm me."

But as the flames touched him, the wine Finn had earlier sprayed onto Kizaru ignited, and a furious fire engulfed his body.

"Argh! What the hell?!"

"That's no ordinary fire," Finn explained coolly. "It's sword intent, and it burns through anything."

Kizaru frantically tried to douse the flames, but Finn wasn't done. His sword pointed to the sky once more.

"Nine Heavens Thunder, come again!"

"No way... This guy is too much!" Kizaru's heart raced as the sky darkened once more, crackling with ominous energy. His body still smoldered, the fire weakening his defense.

Just as the thunderclouds gathered again, Kizaru made a snap decision.

"Sword Immortal, wait here! I'll get someone else to fight you!"

Without waiting for a response, Kizaru turned into a beam of light and vanished.

Finn shrugged, lowering his sword. "Well, that's one way to leave."
