I Choose In The One Piece Class, Do I Have A Choice?

Chapter 83: Sword Immortal Profound Truth Nine Heavens Yulei True Jue! (3/5)

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Robin's heart pounded, racing as if it would burst from her chest. She stared at the sword-wielding figure before her, unable to fully make out his features due to the radiant shimmer surrounding him, but the allure was undeniable.

"My God! What's happening to me?" she thought, startled by her own reaction.

"I've always resisted this kind of thing, yet now... I can't stop thinking about him."

"Wait... wasn't I just thinking about that annoying Finn? How is it possible that I'm drawn to someone else?"

Her mind was in chaos. "No... I can't... I can't be divided like this. I've only ever had feelings for that troublesome Finn. No matter how captivating this man is, I must stay true to my feelings."

But the figure before her was different, his presence impossible to ignore.

Finn had initially wanted to tease Robin, but as he watched her face flush with indecision, her inner conflict became obvious. She was battling something deep within, her thoughts clearly a mess.

"What is this woman thinking?" Finn wondered. "Even in my current form, as a sword immortal, she's thinking of someone else? I need to test this. Is there someone else in her heart?"

He changed his voice, lowering it to a deep, melodic tone that resonated through the air. "Madam, what's your name?"

Robin, unable to resist the captivating voice, answered quietly, "Nico Robin."

"A beautiful name, befitting a beautiful woman," Finn replied in an admiring tone, locking eyes with her.

The moment their gazes met, Robin froze, feeling as though her very soul was being pulled toward him. She couldn't help it—Finn's sword immortal form was overwhelmingly powerful, and no mortal could resist its charm. Her eyes flickered, filled with admiration.

Finn, sensing her weakness, lowered his head slightly, aiming to kiss her cheek.

Robin's heart felt like it was being overrun by a thousand wild horses. Her breath quickened, and her thoughts spiraled.

I can't... What am I doing?

In an instant, as Finn's lips neared her cheek, Robin raised her hand to block him.

"Sorry... I can't," she whispered, using all her strength to reject him.

Robin's hand on Finn's lips made her choice clear, but inside, she was unsure if she would regret this. It was instinct that guided her, overriding impulse at the last second.

Just before Finn's kiss, an image had flashed in her mind—her "stinky brother," Finn, cradling her head, comforting her in moments of despair. That memory had been enough to pull her back, to resist.

Rejection.

Finn blinked in surprise. Rejected? And by Robin, no less?

How had she managed to resist him in this exalted form? His sword immortal aura was supposed to be irresistible!

"Is there someone else in your heart?" Finn asked, his voice as gentle as a celestial melody, full of irresistible charm.

Robin nodded, her eyes finally regaining their clarity. A faint smile curled on her lips as she thought of the one who held her heart.

"I can't say his name," Robin responded softly, shaking her head.

Finn's curiosity was piqued. "If you don't tell me, I'll have to take your first kiss! I won't harm you, I just want to know—who did I lose to?"

Robin hesitated for a moment before letting out a soft laugh. "I can only tell you this... I call him 'stinky brother.'"

That single phrase hit Finn like a bolt of lightning. Wait—what?

Was she... talking about him?

It took a moment for Finn to process this. He had been so immersed in his role as a sword immortal that he had forgotten Robin didn't recognize him. In his mind, he had been wondering who could possibly outshine his celestial form, only to realize that the answer was... himself.

Well then.

This rejection? Totally acceptable.

Finn smiled down at Robin, his voice once again as smooth as silk. "You are a rare, loyal woman. I respect that."

With that, he gracefully descended, placing Robin gently back on the deck before soaring away on his sword.

As he flew away, Finn's thoughts raced. Not long after leaving Robin, a bright streak of light shot toward him from the distance.

Kizaru.

Of course, he'd come to make trouble.

Inwardly, Finn groaned. He was still in his sword immortal form. Would Kizaru recognize him?

Kizaru, meanwhile, had split up from Aokiji. Aokiji had gone to Sengoku's office to confirm whether the sheep Finn mentioned was real, while Kizaru was headed toward Finn's battleship to retrieve the incriminating evidence on the video phone bug. Everything else could be forgiven, but that video... it had to be destroyed.

Flying toward his destination, Kizaru suddenly collided with a flying man, knocking him off course.

"What the...?"

Kizaru steadied himself, his eyes narrowing at the man before him. This wasn't any pirate he knew of. The man's presence was ethereal, and he was... flying?

A Demon Fruit user, no doubt, but this one was different. Kizaru couldn't place him.

Meanwhile, Finn was exhilarated. He'd tested his sword immortal form, and his sword intent had managed to affect Kizaru's light-based Logia form directly! It wasn't like the Armament Haki, which attacked the body—this was different. His sword intent was clashing directly with the very element Kizaru had become.

Who was this man who could clash with him in his light form?

Finn smirked. "This immortal is a sword immortal. And I am here to show you why that matters."

Without another word, Finn charged, sword drawn, as Kizaru braced himself for the clash.

The skies above began to darken, thunder rumbling through the air as Finn summoned his power.

"Sword Immortal Profound Technique—Nine Heavens Thunder Slash!"
