Jaxon and Gwen were chatting with the others. The three of them were friends and now got along very harmoniously.

After finishing their food, it was almost time to head out.

Jaxon took the three of them and went to the bar together.

As night fell, there were fewer pedestrians on the roadside.

The bar was extremely lively, filled with all kinds of people.

Jaxon kept close to the three beauties as they made their way inside.

The bar was both noisy and, unsurprisingly, a bit chaotic.

The appearance of the three beauties instantly attracted the attention of several unsavory types.

However, with Jaxon's presence, they were able to get in without trouble.

The three girls immediately started getting ready for their performance, while Jaxon waited nearby for them to appear on stage.

He glanced around and noted that, while lively, the bar wasn't as messy as he had initially expected.

Still, a few people in the corners were already getting a bit too close for comfort, having too much fun.

"Well, I'll wait for them to finish their performance, and then we'll leave. Hopefully, no one tries anything stupid."

After a while, the three of them took the stage, looking even hotter and more captivating.

Jaxon noticed the men around him shouting and cheering, and he realized he had underestimated the allure of his girlfriends.

There was a high chance some reckless fool would try something tonight.

The girls caught sight of Jaxon, and he cheered and shouted for them, showing his support.

They had cheered him on plenty of times; it was only fair he returned the favor tonight.

Gwen took her place behind the drums, Mary Jane grabbed the mic as the lead singer, and Betty held down the bass.

They synced perfectly, igniting the atmosphere in the bar from the first beat.

Though this style of music wasn't exactly Jaxon's favorite, he had to admit that Mary Jane's voice was captivating.

And who could resist a performance from these three beauties?

The crowd's excitement became contagious, and soon almost everyone was fully engaged.

When the first song ended, the energy in the room was at an all-time high.

Several people started offering tips and rewards.

The trio's set wasn't over yet. They had prepared five songs for tonight, wanting to make the most of this performance, as they'd soon be busy with their own things. Opportunities for the band to reunite would be few and far between.

The club owner had kindly given them this chance to perform, and they intended to put on a memorable show.

One song flowed into the next, and by the end of the set, the energy in the room was electric.

Jaxon looked on with a smile, genuinely happy for them.

"Thank you!"

"After this performance, our band may be taking a break for a while."

"We're not sure when we'll be able to perform together again, but we'll miss this place and this stage."

"Goodbye!"

The male audience members went wild, some even trying to rush the stage.

Thankfully, the girls quickly exited backstage.

Jaxon waited nearby for them to finish up.

"You guys were incredible! I'm so proud of you."

The three of them each hugged Jaxon, causing a few envious glares from nearby patrons.

Then, as expected, a group of thugs surrounded Jaxon and the girls.

This bar was already a little chaotic, so this sort of situation wasn't surprising.

"Ladies, care to join us for a few drinks? On the house."

The three girls feigned being frightened and hid behind Jaxon.

Gwen, in particular, whispered, "Jaxon, you have to protect us." She said with a teasing smile.

Jaxon sighed. There were always idiots who couldn't take a hint.

"You'd better step aside. I've trained in martial arts, and I could take on ten of you without breaking a sweat."

Unexpectedly, his words were met with laughter.

Seeing there was no point in talking, Jaxon swiftly dealt with each thug, taking them down one by one.

Within half a minute, the group of hooligans lay groaning in pain.

"I told you, I could handle ten of you. Too bad you didn't listen."

Jaxon left with the girls, but since it was late, everyone needed to head home.

The idea of a beach day with volleyball would have to wait for another time.

Both Gwen and Betty had work the next morning and needed to rest up.

So, the three girls agreed that tonight, Jaxon would spend time with Mary Jane.

Jaxon sighed with a bit of regret. "Too bad Mary Jane didn't bring a dress."

The next day, Jaxon took Mary Jane out shopping for new clothes before dropping her off at home. Afterward, with nothing pressing to do, he decided to visit Tony.

Surprisingly, Tony wasn't in his villa but at the lab.

After hiring Cho Hele, Tony had immediately set up a lab to begin research on nanotechnology.

The research was still in its early stages, and it would be a while before they saw any usable results.

When Jaxon arrived, he was impressed with the lab's setup, realizing a significant amount of money had been spent in such a short time.

However, there didn't seem to be many people around, a sign of how specialized the field was.

Jaxon was about to enter the core area to find Tony when someone stopped him.

"Hold it!"

Jaxon turned around to see a woman with an Eastern face.

At that moment, Helen, dressed in a white lab coat, approached. Her figure was hidden by the coat, but her face was stunning.

Without heavy makeup, she had a natural, delicate beauty.

Jaxon recognized her immediately; this was Helen, looking even more beautiful than in her photos.

'Could she have had surgery? She doesn't look like it. Definitely a rare natural beauty.' Jaxon thought.

Seeing that he wasn't wearing a lab coat, Helen called him out.

When Jaxon turned around, she immediately realized he didn't work there.

Although he was very handsome and her type, protocols came first.

"Who are you? This is a restricted area. Non-lab personnel are not allowed."

"I'm a friend of Tony Stark's, here to see him."

Helen didn't budge, "Even friends need permission to enter the lab. You can call him out here."

"Are you sure? Isn't he your boss?"

With confidence, Helen replied, "In this lab, I'm in charge!"

Jaxon was surprised by her assertiveness. It seemed Tony had granted her considerable authority.

"Got it. I'll call him out then."

Helen seemed satisfied, "Are you also from the East? Which country?"

"China. My name's Jaxon."

"I'm from Korea. Cho Helen. I thought you might be from my hometown."

A little disappointed, she sighed, but Jaxon smiled.

"Even if we're not from the same place, meeting here feels like fate."

"True."

They shook hands, formally introducing themselves.

Helen left feeling slightly excited, 'A handsome man from the East who's my type. Maybe we'll get to know each other better.'

Just as she was about to enter, she turned back.

"Do you need me to call Tony?"

Jaxon was taken aback by her sudden friendliness.

"Thanks a lot."

"No problem, one moment."

Helen walked into the lab.

"Tony, there's someone named Jaxon outside asking for you."

Tony looked up, "Why isn't he coming in?"

"I stopped him."

Tony was surprised, "You stopped him? He's my friend."

"Didn't you say I have full control here? He's not lab staff, so he has to wait outside."

Tony shook his head, amused, and explained, "You know, he's the one who recommended you. If not for him, I wouldn't have reached out to you for this lab. He's trustworthy."

Helen looked stunned, "He recommended me? How did he even know about me?"

"I don't know, but it's thanks to him."

"Alright, let him in."

Hearing this, Helen relaxed and allowed Jaxon to enter.

Jaxon waited outside, hearing Tony's voice from within.
