After breakfast, Jaxon drove Pepper home and then took her to the company.
Downstairs at Stark Tower, Jaxon had already figured out what he wanted to do.
'I've already graduated and don't have anything lined up right now.' He thought.
Gwen, Betty, and Mary Jane also had some free time, so they made a plan together.
The three of them had originally formed a band, but due to their studies, they hadn't performed in a while.
Just yesterday, during the graduation ceremony, the three decided to perform again at a local bar.
Jaxon definitely wouldn't miss it and planned to be there to support them.
During the day, they would be rehearsing, so Jaxon decided to find Peter first and sort out their food truck plans.
He arrived at Peter's door and knocked.
The door opened, and a beautiful woman with a mature charm appeared before him.
It was Aunt May!
Given her youthful appearance, calling her "Sister May" wouldn't feel too out of place.
Not only did she look young, but her figure was also impressive—much like the Aunt May from the MCU films.
Sadly, in the movies, Aunt May was sacrificed by the screenwriters.
But in this world, May had almost gotten into trouble too.
It was Jaxon who had saved her with the water of life.
"Hello, I'm Jaxon, Peter's classmate. Are you his sister?"
"I'm Peter's aunt, May."
Jaxon pretended to be surprised, "Ah, I forgot. Peter mentioned that he lives with his Aunt May, but I didn't expect you to look so young."
"Jaxon, please come in. I've heard Peter mention you often."
Jaxon entered the house, and Aunt May observed him, impressed.
'No wonder Mary Jane likes Jaxon.' She thought to herself, 'He really is handsome and well-spoken.'
Peter had also told her that Jaxon was a good guy.
All in all, she could see why Peter felt he'd lost to him in certain respects.
"Peter hasn't woken up yet. I can go wake him up."
"Oh, I can wait for him a little while longer." Jaxon replied.
Aunt May had already poured Jaxon a glass of water to welcome him.
"So, what brings you over to see Peter?"
"We talked yesterday about opening a food truck for the summer break. I was planning to go buy a truck with him today. I guess I should've scheduled things better."
"You're starting a food truck? But Peter's not exactly a master chef. His cooking skills are...well, lacking."
"We'll be making simple snacks, and I can teach him. Peter's a quick learner; I'm sure he'll get the hang of it."
Aunt May was supportive of their plan. Not only would it give Peter a chance to make some money, easing the family's burden, but it would also be a fun way to pass the summer.
"Maybe I'll be your first customer." She joked.
"Of course." Jaxon grinned, "When the time comes, you'll have to give us feedback to help us improve."
"Happy to help." She replied.
Jaxon shifted the conversation back to May's work and her community service activities, which involved helping others.
They talked and laughed, and May found herself forgetting Jaxon's age, enjoying his company.
Eventually, Peter woke up, hearing voices from downstairs. Groggy and curious, he made his way down and saw Jaxon chatting warmly with Aunt May.
"Peter, you're finally awake. Jaxon's been waiting for you for nearly half an hour." Aunt May teased.
Peter looked a little surprised and, for some reason, a bit uneasy.
"Aunt May, why didn't you wake me?"
"I was enjoying the conversation with Jaxon and lost track of time." She replied, getting up from the sofa, "I'll go prepare breakfast for you. You two can chat."
Though everything seemed normal, Peter felt the need to have a word with Jaxon.
As soon as May left, Peter turned to Jaxon, serious.
"Jaxon, she's my Aunt." He said pointedly.
"I know." Jaxon replied.
"You already have Mary Jane...and even Gwen and may be more. And there's an age difference. You know what I'm saying, right?"
Jaxon smirked, "So, what if I did like her?"
Peter reacted instantly, "Absolutely not! I'd stop you. You can't do that to Aunt May!"
Peter's reaction was so intense that he almost grabbed Jaxon.
"Think about it." Jaxon continued calmly, "She's worked so hard to raise you. Now you're going off to college. What will she do?"
"She'll be fine." Peter replied, a bit flustered.
"She's young, beautiful, and has her own life ahead. There'll be people interested in her. Can you really stop that?"
Peter stayed firm, "I don't mind if Aunt May finds happiness, but not with you. You're my friend, but Aunt May is off-limits."
Jaxon chuckled, patting Peter on the shoulder, "Relax. I doubt she'd even go for someone like me. But what if she did?"
Peter was torn. If Aunt May truly cared for Jaxon, would it be right to stand in her way?
"Don't worry. Go freshen up, have some breakfast, and we'll head out to buy supplies for the food truck."
Peter let it go for now but resolved to keep an eye on Jaxon to prevent anything from developing with Aunt May.
---
After breakfast, Aunt May left for her volunteer work.
Jaxon then took Peter to buy a food truck.
Food trucks in the area were fairly standard and more like mini mobile kitchens than simple vans. They weren't overly expensive, but they weren't cheap either.
Jaxon paid for the truck, and they moved on to get kitchen equipment.
They planned to sell egg burgers, pancakes, and grilled sausages as a separate option.
Once they'd bought the ingredients, they returned to Peter's house to practice.
Jaxon made an egg burger as a demo, and Peter took a bite, instantly impressed.
"This is awesome, Jaxon! Our business is going to be a hit!"
Peter watched Jaxon once and then tried it himself.
His first attempt was a bit clumsy, but on his second try, he nailed it.
"Peter, you're a fast learner. One more day of prep tomorrow, and we can open the day after."
Peter was thrilled; with the food truck, he'd finally have a way to make some money.
"That was my idea, too." He grinned.
"Maybe we could set up outside Oscorp or the Stark Tower." Jaxon suggested.
"Good idea!" Peter agreed.
After their plans for the truck were sorted, Jaxon headed out.
The day was winding down, and he wanted to catch up with Gwen and the girls before their performance.
They'd be performing at a bar tonight, and as their "guardian," Jaxon couldn't miss it.
He'd already been in touch with Gwen throughout the day, so he knew they were in good spirits and well-prepared.
When he arrived, he brought pizza and other snacks for the three of them.
They were taking a break from practice, resting up for the evening.
"Ladies, I'm here!" He called out.
They cheered at his arrival and greeted him with hugs.
"How are things shaping up for tonight?"
"We're ready!" Betty replied, "Want us to do a private show just for you?"
"Better save your energy for the real thing tonight." He laughed, "You'll want to be at your best."
They agreed, realizing he was right.
As they enjoyed the food, Gwen asked, "What did you do today, Jaxon?"
"Oh, Peter and I got the food truck and spent the day learning the recipes. We're planning to set up outside Oscorp or Stark Tower—should make good money!"
"Oh, you should definitely come to Oscorp." Gwen said excitedly. She'd landed an internship there over the summer.
Mary Jane pouted a bit, feigning jealousy, "Too bad we can't detour just to buy food from you guys."
Jaxon laughed, "Don't worry, we'll make it a success and maybe expand. Plus, I won't be around every day—Tony and I are planning a trip soon."
