Hokage : My Nine tails are getting more and more

Chapter 50: Chapter 50: Danzo’s Tears

Naruto stood, gazing at the Mangekyō Sharingan he had just taken from Danzo's possession. These were Shisui's eyes, the very eyes that could cast the most powerful illusion, the Distinguished Heavenly Gods.

Naruto's mission had been clear: to steal Shisui's eyes, and now that he had succeeded, he couldn't help but marvel at the feat. Danzo, ever the schemer, had never expected Naruto—a mere child—to get the upper hand. Worse, Naruto knew exactly how to destroy his eyes.

Looking at the delicate Sharingan in his hand, Naruto sighed, "There's no way to preserve them here. No nutrient solutions, no preservation equipment... If I keep them, they'll spoil. If I put them in my own eyes, I'll lose my original ones. And if I try to transplant them into someone else... well, there's the risk of being caught in an illusion."

The weight of the eyes seemed to increase in Naruto's palm, each second of indecision a ticking clock. He had a solution in mind but was still hesitant, unsure about the next move. As he contemplated, Danzo suddenly screamed in anger, "Do you have any idea what you are destroying?!!"

Naruto paused, looking up nonchalantly. "Let me see…"

His fingers didn't slow as he examined the Mangekyō, observing its fragility. "Seems like it's pretty important," he muttered, but his voice held no sign of regret. He continued to casually handle the eyes, the act itself both destructive and precise.

Danzo, meanwhile, watched in silence, his expression darkening as he realized the gravity of what Naruto was doing. Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan was now broken, rendering its power useless. Danzo's fury swelled, and his frustration manifested in an icy silence.

However, Naruto was far from done. He had come prepared for more than just stealing the eyes. Without missing a beat, Naruto casually called out to Danzo, "Watch out behind you!"

Danzo's eyes widened, a moment of hesitation flashing across his face as he instinctively turned around. But it was too late. Naruto's Shadow Clone, positioned above, was already poised with a ninja sword, aiming for Danzo's back.

Caught off guard, Danzo attempted to react, drawing kunai to defend himself, but Naruto's clone deftly dodged his strike and delivered a quick slash to Danzo's arm. The bandaged limb fell to the ground in a heap.

Danzo was taken aback. "When did you...?"

Naruto grinned, his voice dripping with mock sweetness. "Oh, I heard you were planning something nasty. When you turned around, I had no choice but to act. It's surprising, isn't it? You didn't even notice."

It was clear that Naruto's experience as a ninja had given him the upper hand. His years of combat experience and tactical thinking had allowed him to pull off such a sophisticated maneuver, something Danzo hadn't anticipated from a young ninja.

As Danzo struggled to comprehend what had just happened, Naruto dispatched his Shadow Clones to deal with Danzo's root ninjas, clearing the area of any threats.

Danzo, his face twisted in rage and disbelief, turned back toward Sarutobi Hiruzen, who had been silently observing. "Hiruzen! What are you waiting for?!" he barked, his anger reaching its peak.

Hiruzen sighed, standing from his seat, his old eyes steady but weary. Naruto, noticing the tension in the room, flashed a polite grin and raised his hands in a mock salute. "I'm sorry, Lord Hokage. It seems I've made a mistake."

"But this man—Danzo—was planning to control me, and I hope the Hokage can see right from wrong."

Sarutobi Hiruzen studied Naruto's bloodstained hands, but what struck him was Naruto's calm demeanor. Despite the chaos, the young boy stood with a serene smile that could disarm anyone.

"Are you angry, Naruto?" Hiruzen asked quietly, his voice soft yet firm.

Naruto hesitated but nodded. "I would have killed him if I didn't have to stay in Konoha. But... I've been here too long. There are people here I care about."

The tension in the room was palpable. It seemed that even though Naruto was more than capable of ending Danzo's life, he wasn't entirely sure which side Hiruzen would take. Konoha was his home, after all, and leaving it wasn't a decision to be taken lightly.

Naruto crushed Danzo's severed arm beneath his boot and then, in a moment of calculated politeness, addressed Hiruzen. "I'm done, Hokage-sama," he said, as though nothing had happened.

Hiruzen regarded Naruto solemnly. "I know the village owes you much, and I also know that you're a good person. I hope you'll trust me when I say that no one in Konoha will ever harm you again. You are part of this village now. That is a promise I make with everything I have."

Naruto's polite smile never faltered. "Thank you, Grandpa Hokage. This way, I can stay in Konoha in peace."

The arrangement was made in mere moments. Sarutobi Hiruzen would ensure that the high-ranking officials in the village would keep their distance, and Naruto would remain, though he didn't quite trust the situation.

Meanwhile, Danzo seethed with fury, realizing that his greatest asset—his eye and arm—had been taken from him. "Is this all because of my arm and eye?!" Danzo howled, unable to contain his anger.

Naruto, feigning confusion, tilted his head. "Lord Danzo, what are you talking about? I haven't done anything! Your eyes are gone, sure, but you didn't need them anyway. Your arm is just a useless piece of meat now. I've simply helped you get rid of the waste. You're welcome, by the way."

Danzo's teeth ground together in frustration. He couldn't say anything. He had been outwitted, outmaneuvered, and humiliated. Worse, the damage done to his body was irreversible. He had lost Shisui's eyes, his powerful Sharingan, and with it, the ability to perform his most potent techniques. More devastating, without his arm, he couldn't access the Hashirama cells stored within it, rendering him unable to use Wood Style.

But he couldn't reveal the truth. He couldn't let the world know the extent of his dark experiments. Instead, he clenched his fists, barely able to contain his rage.

Naruto, sensing Danzo's mounting frustration, added with a playful grin, "It's just an arm and an eye, really. You could always get a prosthetic, couldn't you? No big deal, right?"

Danzo, absolutely seething, could only stare at Naruto in disbelief.

With one last mock bow, Naruto turned to leave. "Well then, I won't keep you any longer, Lord Danzo. Goodbye!"

And with that, Naruto vanished, leaving Danzo to fume in silence, his pride shattered beyond repair.
