Once the child fainted the entire scene was thrown into chaos, even if Old Madam Yu did not wish to bring the family of her elder sister to the Yu family house, with the child on the ground she had no other choice.

Old Madam Yu called a mammy and brought the child along with Yu Sa's family to the Yu family house. However, as she helped the child on the cot which was under the shed, Old Madam Yu saw that she was the only one who was worrying about the child. As for her elder sister and everyone else, they were looking around the Yu house which was grander than the house that their landlord had in their village.

Yu Sa's eyes were wide and filled with disbelief, she knew that Old Madam Yu was living a wonderful life but she had no idea that she was living such a fortunate life!

Look at the house, it was not only big but filled with all sorts of comforts.

To think that her younger sister whom she looked down on was living such a good life.

On the other hand, Yu Qinian's eyes brightened. She looked at the large house and the cogs in her head started to turn, if she could live here then there would be no need for her to worry about the gambling debts. She could easily leave the matter to her cousin, no matter what they were related by blood, and Yu Dong wouldn't possibly leave her alone, right?

As she thought about this, her hands started to get itchy as if already missing the tools that she used to gamble.

Yu Rongsa and Yu Binghuan were also excited. This place was really grand! If they started living in this place then they wouldn't have to worry about not getting married. Mers would line up for their hands!

Miao Sheng and Yu Sa exchanged a look with one another. Though they did not say anything, their desire to occupy this house turned even stronger at the same time, they thanked Second Madam Yu for telling the truth about Old Madam Yu and Yu Dong's condition. If not they would still be suffering!

Anyway, Yu Dong had so much money. She could construct another house with ease!

Old Madam Yu knew what was going on in their heads. Her eyes turned cold and she silently scoffed. Did her sister think that getting her hands on this house was that easy?

Yu Dong was not someone who would lower her head and let just any Tom, Dick and Harry take advantage of her.

"If you are done looking can we talk about how to deal with your grandson who has fainted?" Old Madam Yu asked coldly.

Even Yu Sa with her thick skin could not help but blush when she heard Old Madam Yu's cold voice. She walked over to where her grandson was and said in an airy voice, "It's nothing. He hasn't been eating well for a while now. Hongmei, if you don't mind just cook a few meat dishes for the children to eat."

Though she spoke as if the mer grandsons of her family ate meat and eggs every day the truth was that the mers only drank rice soup while the women of the family ate meat and eggs as they did not earn much and could hardly afford any meat.

Old Madam Yu narrowed her eyes. She did not agree nor did she refuse, instead she turned to look at the mammy behind her and said, "Go and call Doctor Gu, have her take a look at this mer."

The mammy nodded and walked away while the sound of footsteps echoed inside the room before Shen Li and the rest of the mers came out. They looked at the woman in front of them warily before turning to look at Old Madam Yu.

"This is my elder sister," Old Madam Yu said to the five mers. "She came to meet me, and will leave by evening."

Since they did not have a good relationship there was no need for her to keep Yu Sa.

However, Yu Sa was here to live for a very long time. How could she leave in the evening?

She went 'hehe' and said, "You know how to joke, Hongmei. I came after walking for so long how can I leave in the evening? You and I need to talk about a lot and wash over the past grudges."

As she spoke she turned to look at Ming Sheng and gave him a look. The mer understood and twisted his delicate waist before remarking casually, "Or sister-in-law looks down on us poor relatives? Now that you are so rich and live in a manor, you do not wish to entangle yourself with us?"

Though he said it with an aggrieved face, Shen Li and the rest could not help but frown.

No matter how they thought about it, these words seemed to be barbed with wire and thorns.

Old Madam Yu who was well aware of how talented Ming Sheng was gazed at him heavily. Her gaze was profound enough to make Ming Sheng guilty but when he thought about how he had nowhere to go and their lands and house had been sold off, he could only stare back stubbornly.

They couldn't be kicked out of this house, if they were sent packing where would they go?!

Old Madam Yu then calmly stated, "I am not looking down on you or your family. I am guarding the last time I trusted you and sister, I ended up losing the small piece of land that was given to me by our parents after their deaths."

"You are thinking too much, Hongmei!" Feeling as if all her plans had been pulled to light, Yu Sa clasped Old Madam Yu's hands. "I have no such ideas. After all, we are already so old back then I was young and rash, you have no idea how I looked for you when I grew up and became sensible, ah!"
