Guide to raise my cutie husbands

Chapter 1386: Peace and care?

Old Madam Yu did not want to see this sister of hers but she couldn't leave her standing at the entrance of the Big River Village either. This was because of two reasons. Firstly, she wanted to know why her elder sister who had lived for so many years suddenly appeared in front of her when she had always acted as Old Madam Yu did not exist.

And secondly, she was afraid that if she was to leave Yu Sa alone outside, that woman might create trouble for the customers.

After all, Yu Sa and her husband Miao Sheng were not good people. While Yu Sa was greedy and narrow-minded, Miao Sheng would cry and fuss at the smallest thing. Old Madam Yu was worried that if they were left alone outside, they might create some misunderstandings among the customers towards Yu Dong.

The villagers might not think too much as they were grateful to Yu Dong and her help but if Yu Sa was to spout nonsense then these customers might wrong her granddaughter for no reason. Old Madam Yu knew that filial piety and respect for elders was something that was still very prevalent in the eyes of outsiders.

Old Madam Yu was willing to kick Yu Sa out and even support her granddaughter in throwing that cruel woman out but she knew that she couldn't do it in front of outsiders.

With her cane supporting her, Old Madam Yu walked forward and came to a stop in front of the front gate. Her eyes fell on the elderly woman whose face was filled with smiles as she looked at her but even so, the hatred and envy that Yu Sa was feeling at the moment couldn't be hidden in her eyes.

How could Yu Sa be not envious? How could she not feel hatred?

When she was young, their parents doted on Old Madam Yu who was the youngest. While she was the oldest was often looked over along with her second sister.

Every time, Old Madam Yu did something their parents would be full of praise.

Not to mention, Old Madam Yu was really talented in farming. Every time she worked in a field it would flourish. While the fields in which Yu Sa worked, hardly flourished.

The crops would either wither away or die without growing.

In the end, it was Hongmei this or Hongmei that.

So when their parents died, Yu Sa felt as if the burden she was carrying on her shoulders was finally lifted. She took over the entire property of the Yu family and chased Old Madam Yu away who was only fourteen back then.

Yu Sa expected that Old Madam Yu would either die or she would be eaten by wild beasts. Who would have expected that she would not only survive but even get married and settle down?

However, as Old Madam Yu did not come to bother her Yu Sa also pretended as if she did not have a sister.

Who knew that one day she would have to come looking for Old Madam Yu like a beggar?

"Hongmei, you are looking really good!" Yu Sa greeted Old Madam Yu as her eyes greedily fell on the clothes that Old Madam Yu was wearing. This was silk right? No, no this was the finest quality cotton!

Yu Sa knew that this fabric was not only expensive but also really delicate, usually only the officials bought it and even if commoners bought this fabric, they would only buy enough to make dresses for their newborns as the skin of a baby was too sensitive.

Old Madam Yu was given clothing of such expensive to wear. Just one look at her clothes and rosy expression was enough to tell Yu Sa how well Yu Dong treated Old Madam Yu and her jealousy turned even more sinister. Why was it that Yu Dong was Old Madam Yu's granddaughter, not hers?

If she was her granddaughter then she would have lived like a rich madam as well! Unlike Yu Dong, her granddaughter only knew how to make trouble for her.

Yu Sa only saw the healthy and ruddy Old Madam Yu, if she had seen Old Madam Yu when she was kicked out of her house at the age of fourteen, she would have certainly not said something like this.

"Surprising isn't it? After you threw me out of the house without so much as another pair of clothes?" Old Madam Yu did not lower her voice causing many of the customers to hear what she said, they immediately turned to look at Yu Sa and their eyes couldn't help but narrow. This woman kicked Old Madam Yu out of her house without anything.

Just now she was talking as if Old Madam Yu and her were really close!

Yu Sa's expression changed. She laughed and patted Old Madam Yu on the back before saying, "What is this, Hongmei? Why are you bringing old scores now? I know that you are angry but look at the children. They have walked for a long time. Let them rest, first… we can discuss everything else later on."

Old Madam Yu glanced at the thin and sallow-looking children. She did not want to take them inside the village but then she gazed at the pitiful faces of the children and then at the customers who stood behind her. Some of them were already telling her that she shouldn't bring old grudges when the children were suffering

Old Madam Yu wanted to tell them that she was also a child when she was thrown out by Yu Sa but before she could do that, one of the mer sons who was holding Yu Qinian's husband's hand fainted causing chaos to ensue.
