Chapter 98: 98. Registered Trading Company
"I think it's good too!" Jason Liu signed the contract with the management team, smiling as he walked back.
The agreement was for two years, with half a year's rent paid upfront—72,000 yuan.
Once the building management had left, Jiang Chuchu took out a contract from her document bag, looking at Jason. "Alright, senior, here's our agency contract. Take a look. If everything seems fine, we can sign it right away!"
Jason took the contract, scanned through it, and saw nothing wrong.
This agency fee was 5,000 yuan. They would handle everything from company registration to engraving the company seal, setting up the business account, and obtaining the business license—all tasks that would be much slower if he did them alone, going from department to department.
After all, these agencies had connections, and they could get things done fast.
"No problem!" Jason signed the agency contract, and without hesitation, transferred 5,000 yuan to Jiang Chuchu.
Seeing the deal secured, Jiang Chuchu couldn't help but smile, her earlier frustration with Jason's straightforward attitude fading away.
Putting the contract away, she shifted to a professional tone. "Alright, senior, I'll need your ID, company name, company account details, and company address. Once you give me these, I can start the registration. If all goes well, everything could be completed by today!"
"Today?" Jason was surprised. "I read online that it usually takes at least three days, sometimes even a week!"
Jiang Chuchu rolled her eyes. "If you register privately, yes, it takes time to review everything! But our agency is different. We have connections, and our clients pay for speed. Efficiency is part of our service—otherwise, we wouldn't be in business!"
"Oh, that makes sense! Well, I guess my 5,000 yuan is worth it then," Jason replied, surprised to learn how things worked behind the scenes.
"Hehe, thanks for the business, senior! I know you're not short on cash, so I went for a more comprehensive package. Hope you don't mind?" She tilted her head and blinked at him innocently.
Jason only gave her a quick look, unmoved by her act. He knew her style and wasn't about to be swayed by it. "It's fine, just get the company up and running quickly. 5,000? That's nothing."
"Haha, so cool! Is this what they call the irresistible charm of wealthy people? I feel like I might actually be tempted, senior…" she teased, laughing.
But Jason didn't react. "The company name is Yuansen Trading Co., Ltd., and it's a sole proprietorship. Add as many business categories as possible—money isn't an issue."
"Alright!" she said, jotting it down, then asked, "What about the registered capital?"
"Ten million yuan," Jason stated without hesitation.
Jiang Chuchu's eyes went wide, her mouth slightly open. "Ten million? Is that all paid-up capital?"
"Of course. Why, is that unusual?" Jason asked, confused. "As an agency, you've probably seen capital in the tens of millions before, right?"
She chuckled. "Oh, if only. Many of them are just paper companies. They just write down any number they want. As long as no one checks, no one cares!"
Jason was stunned. "Really? They can just do that?"
He shrugged, deciding it didn't matter. He was setting up a legitimate business, not a shell company.
Jiang Chuchu, meanwhile, became more aware of Jason's financial power. Clearly, he wasn't just well-off—he was generous with his spending!
If he wasn't her rather interesting, straightforward senior, she might have even considered flirting more seriously.
However, it didn't seem like he was particularly interested.
What to do when faced with an oblivious, but valuable, man? Seeking advice—urgent!
After finishing the preparations, Jason drove Jiang Chuchu around in his sports car to various departments.
Originally, he had wanted to leave this part to her, but she playfully insisted, and he eventually gave in, acting as her chauffeur.
Luckily, he didn't need to get involved in the details. All he had to do was follow her around.
Money definitely made things easier—Jason learned that firsthand today.
By 3 p.m., Yuansen Trading Co., Ltd. was fully registered, with the business license, bank account, company seal, and everything else complete.
Miss Jiang had spent the whole afternoon riding in his sports car, clearly enjoying it.
Though the car was flashy, Jason realized it wasn't the most comfortable choice for long trips.
Now that the registration was done, his next tasks were to clean the new office, buy desks, chairs, computers, and set up internet.
"Chuchu, do you know anyone who can handle office equipment? You seem pretty efficient—think you could manage the next steps, too?"
Jason planned to keep Jiang Chuchu as his go-to helper. After all, she had made some decent money off him, so why not let her keep working?
She raised an eyebrow. "I do know someone. But are you sure you trust me to handle all these purchases?"
Everyone knew how easy it was to make a profit from procurement.
Jason, with his sales background, understood perfectly. "I trust you! Just show me all the receipts after you're done. If everything looks good, I'll send you the money."
With a huff, Jiang Chuchu said, "Trust, huh? You make it sound nice, but in the end, I still need to show you a list before you approve it."
Jason replied confidently, "I'm just looking out for you! You're young, with a promising future. Can't let you be tempted by a little cash. I'm protecting you, understand?"
She sneered. "Do all businessmen talk like this, twisting words to sound so noble?"
"Hey, I'm no capitalist! My family's been poor for three generations," Jason retorted.
Jiang Chuchu laughed. "Ah, men and their words! You're good at talking about money."
She thought to herself, maybe this thick-skinned attitude is what helped him make so much. Here he was, driving a sports car, living in a villa, while she was working for a small agency.
The gap made her a little envious, and she couldn't help feeling a bit sour at the local rich guy.
