Renegotiation IV
Under the erroneous assumption that Byakko might be dead or crippled, Seiryuu unleashed the full power he had been accumulating in his magical storm.
A rain of countless lightning bolts descended from the sky, blanketing Jun's position with unrelenting ferocity.
A dome shaped magical circle however, gave rise to a barrier that blocked them all.
Seiryuu could only stare in shock as his mightiest strike harmlessly bounced off Jun's barrier.
Ouryuu controlled the earth beneath Jun's feet to strike at him . . . Or tried to.
As it turned out, the barrie Jun deployed was not a dome but a sphere. As such, Ouryuu could not extend its powers to control the earth with the barrier.
He still tried to attack the barrier with the earth outside but no matter how many earth spike he created, or how he tried to have the earth swallow Jun or how he even raised to mountains from the earth and tried to squash him between them, none of it worked.
Jun, feeling quite deviously playfull, spread his magical energy upwards and, with his Ideal Craft, hijacked Seiryuu's storm, unleashing its lightning on the sacred beast inheritor still within and causing his charred body to fall from the sky.
The poor inheritor of the Azure Dragon didn't even realized what was happening until it was too late and so he was fried by his own special move.
Teleporting Seiryuu into the barrier and commanding Asako to heal him like it had been done to Byakko before him, Jun then turned his attention to his last opponent.
Ouryuu, despite seeing no chance of any measure of victory, was still determined to go down swinging, wanting to at least return a single blow before his inevitable end.
Supported by the colossal amounts of energy he drew from the Earth, which was in fact Jun's power he had let Ouryuu steal, the sacred beast inheritor changed from a dragon man into a giant majestic oriental golden dragon.
He covered himself in Touki an ability Byakko had also possessed, and soared at Jun.
Ouryuu opened his dragon maw and fired a golden breath of dragon aura that impacted against Jun's barrier with great strength, shaking it but not doing much else.
He was not done though. While still firing his breath weapon, Ouryuu charged headfirst intending on crashing his colossal dragon body into it.
As he made his approach, his breath got more and more intense and cracks began to appear in Jun's barrier wich only drove Ouryuu into putting more and more power into his offensive.
With blinding speed, he crashing into the dome and shattered it with a victorious roar.
He didn't stop there though, continuing with his great momentum intent on crashing right onto Jun.
When Ouryuu looked at his opponent expecting a look of shock or even fear though, he only saw slight surprise.
In truth, the power showed by Ouryuu, while impressive, was certainly not enough to threaten Jun but it was still above his expectations as when he created the barrier, and adaptive barrier bereft of weakness, he didn't expect Ouryuu's charge to be able to break it.
Still, with overwhelming strength, Ouryuu had successfully done so.
Despite it not being a barrier created with Jun's full power, it was still created with the intent of stopping any and all attacks of the sacred beast inheritors without a scratch so Jun was indeed surprised when Ouryuu was able to break it.
The result however, would not change.
Jun used his skill Ideal Body to redistribute the + modifiers that affected his physical parameters. While he normally kept them at a balanced STR: A++, AGI: A++ and END A++, he switched it up to STR: A+++, AGI: A and END A+++.
With is boosted Endurance and Armor of the DRAGON, he effortlessly took Ouryuu's attack with his own body while using his enhanced strength to deliver a brutal punch whose forge shattered the golden dragon, leaving behind a mangled Ouryuu.
Jun tossed him into the barrier and Asako restored him like the other two before he undid the reality marble he created for the battle, resulting in everyone returning to their original positions in Shuri's house though Byakko, Seiryuu and Ouryuu were still unconscious.
Jun's show of power was still in everyone's minds though and so, an uncomfortable silence plagued the entire room until Genbu opened her mouth with a pertinent question.
"When will Seiryuu-san, Byakko-san and Ouryuu-san wake up Jun-sama?" She inquired.
'Sama?' Jun internally questioned.
"They're just deeply asleep but a good slap will wake them up right now." Jun pointed out before signaling Asako who, without any hesitation and with utmost efficiency, got up and slapped al three of them across the face leading to them jumping up in a confused state.
"There." Jun casually said.
Suzaku then calmed the three down before they remembered their annihilation at Jun's hands and went very quiet.
Jun then began speaking.
"While I could take this opportunity to put some pressure on you Five Families to get some better terms . . . Out of respect for Suzaku-san who has been very accommodating and Genbu-chan who has been nothing but polite and cordial, I will simply maintain the previous terms of our "alliance"."
Hearing this, the five sacred beast inheritors breathed a collective sigh of relief. Suzaku felt quite flattered by Jun's words and Genbu was further convinced that her ideology that everyone should be treated with respect was indeed correct.
Even Byakko, Seiryuu and Ouryuu found themselves to have developed a whole new sense of appreciation for Jun and his way of dealing with things, cultivating a great deal of respect for him in their hearts.
Ouryuu thanked Jun for his leniency and apologized for the trouble he had caused before leaving with Seiryuu, Byakko and Genbu with Suzaku remaining behind.
Barakiel left to report the events that took place to Azazel as he was technically there as Grigori's representative.
In truth, he could have done it later but ever since their disagreement, Barakiel felt incredibly awkward in Jun's presence.
Shuri did not at all appreciate this but just sighed in disappointment before giving her husband a bento box as he left.
Then, she retreated into the kitchen with Akeno to prepare a meal for everyone, leaving Sae, Natsume, Shigune, Lavinia, Kouki, Tobio and Lavinia to crowd over Jun with countless questions and requests like . . .
"What are you doing when you go away?"
"Do you have more hidden lovers?"
"How did you get so strong?"
"Can you help us become stronger?"
"We want to be of use to you so tell us how."
"Please train us."
And so on so forth.
Jun however, shut them all down before promising that special training would come later for all of them and he would let them all meet his other subordinates and such later.
With those two promised from Jun, the boys and girls quieted down.
Being released by his enthusiastic fellows, Jun just sat back and relaxed while waiting for Shurin and Akeno to bring the food while Asako dutifully guarded him.
The other excitedly discussed the battle while glancing over at the relaxed Jun from time to time and at Asako who guarded beside him.
After the food was brought in, a very harmonious meal too place as everyone just enjoyed the food and praised the cooks, earning a a shy blush from Akeno and a gentle smile from Shuri in appreciation for their praise.
Under Shuri's insistence, they all spent the night there.
Suri taking her own room, Kouki and Tobio taking another and the rest of the girls and Jun taking another.
Asako was a bit preoccupied about sleeping in the same bed as Jun, worried over overstepping her boundaries as his Servant but was quite happy and pleased to do so after receiving his express invitation share his bed.
Jun however, didn't feel much like sleeping and so, sank deep into his mind, conversing with Ahsaka throughout the night as his body rested despite not needing it.
The topics of their conversation ranged from critical ones like Jun's plans for the future to utterly mundane things.
In fact, Jun was quite comforted by Ahsaka's presence as the only true constant in his life ever since his reincarnation and loved making small with with her when he had nothing to do.
From what he felt, Ahsaka appreciated these conversations with him as well, only motivating him further to maintain them.
Despite many of their topics being meaningless however, a few very important matters were also typically discussed as Ahsaka always had valuable advice for Jun with he very much appreciated.
On this particular conversation though, a very serious warning was given.
"Apokalypsis . . . This Noble Phantasm of yours is not what it seems. Or least it is not as simple as you believe it to be." Ahsaka warned.
Jun was quite alarmed at the never before felt alarm in Ahsaka's warning.
What could warrant such alarm in regards to Jun's Apokalypsis Noble Phantasm?
