Chapter 155: Darius’s Humiliation
A few seconds had gone by since Leonard loudly declared that he had made love to Elise. Those unaware were trembling somewhat, whereas those aware of the situation were confused by his actions.
'Hmm, you can still hold your emotions?' Leonard didn't believe Darius was able to remain silent. To train someone with so many resources and time, only to have it snatched away, was no different than being cuckolded.
"Elise was truly one fine woman. Her slender legs and beautiful breasts were so good to taste. I would have done more if it weren't for the foul smell."
As another loud exclamation reverberated through the area, inside the building, Darius's expression was extremely dark.
"This bastard…" Darius gnashed his teeth. Which one of them in here didn't know that was a blatant provocation?
The collective nobles inside the room also lowered their heads, afraid of making eye contact with Darius.
Such a cuckolded action was definitely anything but glory.
Despite this, many of them were laughing on the inside about Darius's plight.
Darius's cruelty and suppression toward the collective nobles in Velastra had already made them harbor some hatred.
If it weren't for the fact that his power was immaculate, especially with the Death Guards at his command. Then they would have long rebelled and usurped the power in the Noble Faction.
Heh, getting cuckold right under your nose is karma!
Serves you right for being so overbearing!
Doing a mass killing spree in front of us? Who are you trying to scare?
Darius appeared to be mad when killing his Death Guards about their incompetence, but they all knew the truth behind it.
Darius wasn't just killing the Death Guards out of anger. Instead, he was sending a message to them to behave themselves and not try to do something stupid.
After all, the balance of power had begun to shift with the arrival of the Crown Prince.
With a new power coming to Velastra after such a long stalemate, who wouldn't harbor the thoughts of jumping ship to the new power?
"I wondered if Marquis Darius had more people like you, Elise. I sure want to snatch a few more over to enjoy. Maybe if I feel like it, he can have the second shot once I'm done."
Amidst the silent atmosphere, Leonard's voice once again broke through the building.
The other nobles nearly let out a laugh, unable to contain themselves much longer. Such a blatant provocation, yet Darius could only stay as mute was not something they get to see every day.
'This fucking bastard is trying to step over me!' Darius clenched his fist fiercely. Had it not been for the fact that he detected Leonard's bodyguard's strength, followed by Caroline's appearance, he would have long gone outside to kill him.
Other than that despicable Wesley Livingstone, when had he ever received such humiliation?
"Turn on the sound isolation formation already!" Infuriated, Darius lashed out at another Death Guard.
The Death Guard hurriedly nodded and exited the room to turn on the sound isolation formation.
"Bunch of useless guards who can't even do something right!" He cursed.
The other nobles only sneered inwardly in their mind.
The person who ordered the formation to be off was him from the start. Yet he still had the nerve to shift the blame to the Death Guards.
Truly, nobody could be more shameless than Darius.
It was better to jump ship to the Crown Prince's side. At the very least, having a Crown Prince as backing was better than a mere Marquis who couldn't even restrain a gold ranked merchant.
The reputation of the Noble Faction had truly been disgraced by Darius after this incident.
While they held such a mindset in secret, outside, Leonard's group had already decided to leave the garden.
"Are you sure it's right to leave now?" Mirelle approached him and asked. It was hard to tell whether the outside street was safe and sound.
"Time is of the essence," Leonard said, his eyes trailing after Elise.
In response, Elise bowed her head and gave him a grateful look. Without a doubt, he was planning on rescuing her little sister.
Even if the chance of her survival was slim, she still wanted to see it herself before giving up. Otherwise, it would be a long-lasting regret that she would never be able to get over.
When Mirelle noticed the anomaly between the two, she seriously believed Elise had been taken in as the Crown Prince's woman. 'They seriously did it in that feces-like place?'
Although it wasn't rare for nobility to have many women, she was indeed a bit taken aback by Leonard's action.
After all, Leonard had always mentioned such a topic, but never actually did anything revolving around it.
Naturally, only she was the one who was clueless about the actual reality.
Shirley could discern that Elise's symptom wasn't that of someone who had just been ravaged.
'The Master is really impossible to grasp.' She came to the realization that trying to get into Leonard's eyes was extremely difficult.
A few minutes later, the group promptly left the garden. Their exit was quickly reported to Darius by the Death Guards.
"Leaving immediately after stealing my prey. I'll remember this debt, Vincent…" Darius's eyes glinted in a cold light. The humiliation he received today shall be repaid in two-fold!
As Darius harbored immense hatred toward Leonard, the latter couldn't be bothered by Darius's fragile heart.
"Lead the way, Elise." Leonard calmly said. Besides going to the Death Guards' training ground to rescue her little sister, he also wanted to see whether the layout was the same as the one in the Slave Coop.
Moreover, he wanted to see if there would be more evidence to be discovered.
"Right away, Boss," Elise responded and hastened her pace.
After many twists and turns, along with fighting off some of the berserk slaves who wanted to harm them, they arrived at a glamorous building.
"A bar?" Leonard raised an eyebrow. His mood was rather sullen when he deduced that the bar must have a hidden basement meant for the unsightly stuff to happen.
