Endless World: The Rise of Leonard Lawson

Chapter 152: Elise

Leonard wasn't offended by Elise's cold remark. If the situation had been swapped, then he might have reacted in the same manner.

Faced with such a helpless and dead-end situation, what hope could there be?

Even if the opposite party claimed they could somehow cure their plight and even reduce their family from the devil's clutches. To Elise, it was merely a deceiving method to extract information from her mouth.

From start to finish, she only explained the unspoken secret, and nothing else.

Not a single one of the information she spouted could be actually useful to him.

"I suppose words are no longer necessary," Leonard said.

Afterward, he tore apart her clothes, exposing her fair skin.

Elise closed her eyes in response. She didn't bother to resist or anything, having long anticipated she would be ravaged the moment she was given away.

Besides, she couldn't even resist when the restraint imposed on her by Mirelle remained active.

She was able to talk and make expressions, but that was about it.

She thought he was commencing his act as a scumbag who would kiss her all over the place when she felt his hand touching her chest.

However, rather than the feeling of being groped, she suddenly felt her body churning.

'What the?' Stupefied, Elise promptly opened his eyes. Her gaze landed on Leonard, wondering what he was trying to do.

The churning inside her body was increasing, and her face twisted to an ugly complexion.

In the next instance, she coughed out a mouthful of dark and purplish blood.

A sizzling sound could be heard when the blood made contact with the ground. Needless to say, the blood contained the poison that had been dwelling inside her body.

"H-how is this possible?" Her pupils constricted, incapable of understanding what method Leonard used to forcefully expel the poison from her body.

"Shut up and stop distracting me." Leonard scolded harshly.

"Start condensing your mana and place them together in one place if you want to eradicate the poison quicker. But don't say I didn't warn you. The pain isn't going to be light."

Realizing that the poison that had been shackling her since her capture could actually be expelled, determination soon flashed across Elise's eyes.

"What is pain?" She snickered and began condensing her mana despite the excruciating pain.

The poison dwelling in her began to attack her veins and internal organs, causing a powerful burning sensation. Her body temperature rose tremendously as she began to sweat everywhere.

"AHHHHH!"

She screamed and moaned in agony. Her moaning turned quite sexual for those unaware of the actual scene. But in reality, each of her moans was akin to being stabbed repeatedly without pause.

Although she had endured many things, the pain level was truly out of the norm. She nearly wanted to faint and give up in condensing her mana to gather the poison together.

"If you faint now, then I'll guarantee your little sister will be ravaged until she dies of exhaustion." Leonard threatened coldly.

Upon imaging the scene of her little sister's plight, Elise's eyes glinted in a cold light. She suppressed the agony and endured the process of removing the poison from her body.

"ARGHHHHHH!"

Her screams quickly echoed everywhere, allowing Mirelle's group to hear them, and even those inside the building.

Inside the building, Darius's expression was so dark that it seemed like it was night and not afternoon. His fist was clenched tightly, and a pressurizing aura was emitting from him.

The other nobles were left suffocating in the sealed environment, afraid of making a single sound.

Who didn't know about the death guards that Darius owned?

The men were highly trained and ruthless, and so were the women. But the truly talented ones were someone Darius enjoyed playing around with.

Nothing makes Darius more excited than dominating a strong and trained woman.

This was unspoken information among the collective nobles. Although the derogatory behavior was unsightly, they didn't dare to speak of the matter.

"WHERE'S THE REST OF MY GUARDS?" Darius finally roared in fury when another loud moaning sound reverberated through the building.

That Elise woman was his to enjoy!

Yet it has now become someone else's dish!!!

How could he not be infuriated?

Such a scene was no different than buying expensive ingredients, cooking them personally, only to have the final dish eaten by an intruder.

Even if some crumbs were left, who would want to eat them anymore?

In a few seconds, a few Death Guards arrived at the scene, their heads lowered in respect to Darius.

"Have you investigated everything about that damn gold ranked merchant properly at all?" Upon seeing them, Darius stood up and gave them a fierce thrashing. The death guards dared not utter any sound or move a bit. They silently accepted the thrashing even if they started to bruise and bleed.

"Staying mute, huh?" Darius hissed and grabbed a guard by the collar.

"Tell me now! How can a mere gold ranked merchant from Veridale possibly have a token of representation on behalf of the Crown Prince?"

His loud questioning quickly alarmed the nobles in the room.

A token of representation from the Crown Prince?

Realization quickly dawned upon them as to why Darius was willing to give his death guard away without doing anything else.

That person from earlier was actually the Crown Prince's people.

No wonder Darius's expression was so dark and appeared to have swallowed a mouthful of shit.

While the nobles could keep quiet and be mere bystanders, the death guard wasn't that lucky.

Darius unsheathed a sword and stabbed the guard's heart.

The guard's eyes widened in disbelief as they collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

The other death guards could only kneel in place and not move a single muscle. Their angle of sight could only see the blood dripping from the sword that Darius held.

"Who else was responsible for the investigation?" Darius turned to them and demanded an answer.

"Had I known that the bastard was from the Crown Prince's side, then I wouldn't have shown myself. Now it's just great! I lost a gardener, a baron, and even Elise, whom I planned on devouring later tonight."
