Elven Domination: Reincarnated with a Cloning System

Chapter 73: Practice Gone Wrong? (2)

Fira could see him trying hard in front of her, remembering the time she got embarrassed in front of him. That shame she had felt began to recede now because she felt like they would be equal sooner or later if she got more opportunities like this.

But this would be the last time she would let him try. She had read that if you tease a man too much, they sometimes cry, and if that ever happened, she wouldn't feel good. So this would be the last one, as this time she was going to say something she likely wouldn't have the chance to say in her life.

But for her heart to feel completely calm from this, she had to do this. Knowing he wouldn't be able to understand what she had said, she felt it was the perfect opportunity.

The smugness on her face had become much less now, as this was something severe.

"This will be the last time, Arthur."

Arthur, hearing her words, nodded meekly, but inside he was excited. Just thinking what type of face she would make when he revealed to her that he understood everything made him want to laugh uncontrollably, but he controlled himself as he didn't want to ruin the fun.

He played his role properly and didn't let any slip-ups occur, but suddenly a red transparent screen popped up in front of him. He didn't even look at it and made it disappear, as he had to focus hard not to laugh.

"I know you are in love with me, Arthur, but I have to disappoint you. I have no romantic feelings of love for you or anyone else, but I do like you as the first friend I have made. You could even be called my best friend if I think about it."

Fira couldn't keep up a straight face while saying her feelings in the open, and even the smugness on her face had been lost now. A slight blush appeared on her face as she had said a bit too much. While he didn't understand her, she knew what she had said, and it did feel a bit embarrassing to her. As if he knew—if he knew he was the only friend she had, he would definitely think she was a neet.

A sigh escaped her mouth, knowing she was safe, but the smugness didn't return like before, as Arthur's face in front of her had a bit of a perplexed look, as if he was asking what she was talking about—like he had understood her.

But she denied the possibility, as his perplexed look could be due to him not understanding a thing, just like before. But it did feel a bit weird, as the expression on his face didn't look like the one he had previously.

'It's impossible for him to learn the language in one day. What am I even worried about?'

Fira believed she was completely safe, but she wasn't wrong in some ways—he couldn't understand complex words, but he did get what she had said by joining the pieces together, and she hadn't used any complex or profound words that would confuse him.

So it's safe to say Arthur had understood everything she had said.

'What! I am in love with her!!!'

Arthur was shocked beyond belief at how she had come to that conclusion, and it hurt his poor heart to know that without even confessing or anything, he got rejected by her and she had even friend-zoned him.

'Fuck, I can't accept it.'

The damage had been done to his poor heart, but at the very least, he had to correct her.

'Why the fuck does she even think I am in love with her?'

Fira felt weird as Arthur was not saying anything to her and was completely silent now. She didn't know what was happening, but she didn't feel right.

'Is he about to cry?!'

'No! I can't let that happen. I would feel very bad if that really happened. I don't want to look like a horrible person in front of him.'

Fira said to him anxiously, fearing he would start sulking at any second, as no matter how they teased each other, at the end of the day he was a man.

"Arthur, don't take this to heart. You've only had one day to learn. Naturally, you don't understand anything. You don't have to feel sad about it."

'What do you mean don't take it to heart? You have already targeted my poor heart.'

While her words did mean to encourage him, her wild thoughts about him being in love with her had already done quite a bit of damage that couldn't be reversed without confronting her properly about it.

But he didn't know how he should reveal the fact that he had understood every word she had said.

"Fira, you are crazy."

This was the sentence he had chosen to say to her in Elven's tongue.

Fira heard him. He had a bit of an accent and it did sound very cute with his attractive voice, but she couldn't focus on that right now because he had called her crazy in Elvish tongue.

'Does he really understand me?'

"NOOOOO! It can't be!"

She stood up from her seat and her body was shaking a bit in fear from just the thought of it, so she asked him once again to confirm, or it could be he had only learned a few sentences.

'Haha, it must be it.'

"A-Arthur, y-you didn't understand what I said, did you?"

Arthur, hearing her question, looked dead in her eyes and said with a straight face in elven language.

He did have to form the sentence in his head before saying it, but he could talk.

"I understood everything you said, Fira."

'NOOOOOOOOO!! WHAT HAVE I DONE?'

She took a step back in her fear. It wasn't a fear caused by strength, but due to how shocked she was. Because of what happened, it caused her to go into a state of fear.

She didn't want to accept it, but the reality was in front of her. Her eyes were shaking, and she took a step back, trying to stay away from him.
