Elven Domination: Reincarnated with a Cloning System

Chapter 57: Sharing Secrets

Arthur thanked her afterward for healing him, but she didn't just stop there. She was still feeling pity for him and wanted to look out for her friend.

"Arthur, do you need help with anything? If anything, you just have to tell me."

She left after saying those words, saying she had to bring a special dish for him.

If it had been before, Arthur wouldn't have paid much attention to her words, but knowing how powerful she was and also that she was the daughter of the Guild Master of the Gourmet Guild, he knew this was an opportunity he couldn't afford to pass by.

He was not sure if he would be able to go onto the second floor of the Library or find the books on magic in the market or not, so asking for help from Fira seemed like a good idea to him.

But he knew he had to explain something before asking her that. He had to tell her how he had made a deal with the warden and tell her he was Awakened, but he was not going to mention anything about the warden incident and how he had the same mana resonance as her.

He still remembered the time when Ivy had checked his body using her mana. He felt like he could block her, but he had chosen not to, fearing what would happen.

'I'm not sure if Fira would try to do that or not, but I won't let anyone check my body this time.'

Ivy knows he has the worst talent. If Fira found out he was talented... he didn't want it to come to that.

'Should I ask her if she would be able to bring me to the higher floor of the library or just ask her for books on magic and cultivation?'

Fira came back with the same fancy plate covered with a silver cloche on top of it.

Putting the plate in front of him, she revealed the other different flavors of pudding in front of him.

Arthur looked at the pudding, which was shaped to perfection and had a glassy look. It was presented like a masterpiece.

'Still looks perfect as ever.'

Arthur could never get bored with her pudding. She even changed flavors for him, and the heavenly taste that would burst in his mouth was just magical.

Which is why he devoured the pudding.

Only after a moment of consideration, did Arthur choose the option of asking for books on magic and cultivation from her instead of letting her find a way to get him to the second floor of the library.

He was already a bit disappointed in the library. If he wasn't able to find what he wanted on the second floor, that wouldn't be good, as he can't just ask for things from her after this opportunity goes by.

After finishing the pudding, the same magical feeling could be felt in his body. He was not tired, but it was still such a relaxing feeling. He had noticed that the effect seemed to increase every time he had her pudding.

Fira could have chosen to just make a dish that would heal him but would still be ordinary. Instead, she had decided to focus on creating a dish made of lower-ranked ingredients, which were only available to her, to make something that would be perfect for him.

She feels she is still far from perfection. Fira can feel it—she could make it much better if she tried enough. Until she thinks it's enough, she will keep going.

Hearing his genuine praises and seeing the satisfied look on his face also gave her motivation to keep improving.

After healing him, Fira realized how much he had changed in just one day. She even doubted if a soap bar was responsible for these changes.

His long silver hair seemed more lustrous to her. His skin was almost perfect with no blemishes. His amethyst eyes still had their unique charm, and his face appeared more defined, making him look hotter.

'If this goes on like this, he will turn into a lady-killer.'

She knows he is a handsome man, but there are still men out there who could surpass him in looks. But if he kept enhancing like today, she is not sure if that would be true in the future.

She knew he would be more attractive when his body was more fit, which didn't seem too long before, as he seemed to be exercising. She doesn't know what motivates him, but in the future, he would likely cause fights between the female elves here.

'I don't know if I should be worried or happy knowing my friend is working hard.'

She is also curious.

"Fira, I need your help with something," Arthur said with a serious face.

Fira heard him and felt a bit warm knowing he was opening up to her. She didn't know what he was going to ask her, but she would do her best to help her friend.

"But before I'm going to ask what I want your help with, I want to tell you something that you might not be aware of."

Seriousness in his voice was present, as he didn't want her to think he was making up his story.

Fira is now interested in what he might have to say to her.

"I lost my memories a couple of days ago."

His first sentence had made Fira shocked for the first time in a while. Arthur started telling her about the time he got injured in the head inside the mine. He found himself awake in his room with Liora and Zyra, with lost memories.

She felt sad knowing he had lost his memory, but what made her more upset was the fact that two female elves had entered his room. She calmed herself, knowing it was due to the circumstances and due to the fact she forgave them, knowing they had saved his life.

Arthur doesn't know about Ivy's involvement in that incident, so he only tells her what he knows of, but not without hiding some facts.
