Elven Domination: Reincarnated with a Cloning System

Chapter 52: Genetic Assimilation

Arthur, seeing the blank expression on her beautiful face, thinks either she didn't know how to smile, or without his order, she wouldn't smile.

'I know she feels joy now through my connection to her, so it would be one of those two cases.'

Before assimilating with her, he wanted to satisfy all his curiosity toward her, so he decided to have a conversation with her.

The clock tells him that it is around 7 a.m. right now, so he still has time before he has to leave for work.

He told her to take a seat on the bed, as he only had one chair in his room, which he was going to use. He put the chair in front of her so he would have a direct eye-to-eye conversation with her.

Arthur sat on the chair in front of her. She is only less than half a meter in front of him, looking at her perfectly shaped, crystal-clear skin with her flowing, crimson hair and her mesmerizing, azure-colored eyes.

He once again realized how beautiful she was. He had seen everything on her. She is gorgeous in every way.

Even if he knows it is rude to remember her naked figure, he can't help it because of how striking she looks.

'Gorgeous.'

He even believed she looked a little more beautiful than Ivy, whom he at first thought was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on.

'If Fira knew I had looked at her naked figure, she would kill me, as a weak spell from her could still end me.'

From what he knows of her, she would kill him by accident, not by her actual intentions.

He knew he couldn't just be lost in her beauty and had to start the conversation.

_________

Inside a room that didn't seem luxurious, Fira was in a meditating position, closed her eyes, but her eyes suddenly opened, revealing her beautiful azure eyes.

Fira had also sensed the strong flow of mana gathering at a single location at the time when Arthur was experiencing the hellish pain.

The only person she could think of who would be responsible for such a huge mana reaction would be the heir of the Greenhearts Clan, who is known as the failed heir because of subpar talent compared to her cousin.

So the possibility of any of her spells causing such a reaction didn't even enter her mind. The only conclusion she reached was: that she was having a breakthrough.

She knows for a fact she was at Mana Weaver like her. While she had just entered the rank a couple of months ago, the heir of the Greenhearts Clan is known to be stuck at this rank for two years.

The information network of her guild is capable. She knows quite well about the geniuses of the era and the vessels of the royal family — the nine main Elven clans. While she knows the power difference between the clans is even a mystery to her, the known fact that everyone knows is that the Celestial Clan is the strongest among the Nine Great Clans.

Because of a single Elf whose stories are known even to children in the Elven Empire.

Fira knows one fact — that all Nine Clans are worthy of attention, no matter who seems the strongest among them.

She would have barged in without notice if Ivy were around her age. But she knows she should be a third-year student at Aelorith Academy, which means she should be around 21. Considering her age, her reaching the Sage Rank is not a great feat.

She could be considered elite among elites. But in the realm of geniuses, she is a step too late.

Knowing those facts, she doesn't have much interest in seeing how her breakthrough had gone and how strong she had become.

She believes, that if even Ivy had become a Sage, she would still be able to defeat her.

________

Arthur, without even knowing that he escaped a great incident that could go the wrong way, carried on with his task of questioning Ember before he would assimilate with her.

"Ember, what do you remember?"

The details say the clone would be created in a blank state. But if it is blank like a newborn, she wouldn't even be able to talk. So how would she talk to him in English without even learning the language?

Ember, thinking using every part of her brain, came to an answer.

"Master, the only thing I remember is from the time you created me. You were lying unconscious on the ground when I had first met you..."

"Stop, that's enough!"

Arthur stopped her as she was explaining every minute detail from the time she had been created using her Authority.

He couldn't let her continue to say which part of his body moved while he was sleeping or how she waited for the time he would wake up.

'It would take an hour if I let her continue like that. I have to ask her what I am curious about.'

Seeing her go silent within a second, he then asked what he was curious about.

"How can you talk in the same language as me if you don't remember anything at all?"

This time, it took Ember only a second to answer her master's question as she said this:

"I don't know, master."

Arthur could feel her excitement through his connection, which seemed to come from the fact she had answered him quickly this time.

'I am confused. How could she not know how she was able to talk in English when she was doing so with ease?'

He doesn't understand, but he believes she is telling the truth.

'I have only one question left to ask her, and I know what she is going to say, but I will still ask her.'

"Do you know what genetic assimilation is and how it works?" Arthur said in a serious voice.

Ember didn't know how, but after hearing the words genetic assimilation, she knew what her master meant by those words.

She answered him with no expression on her face.

"I don't know how, but I know about it, master, and I also know how to do it. I just have to become one with the master."
