Elven Domination: Reincarnated with a Cloning System

Chapter 51: Choice

[Mana Resonance: 92]

'What the actual freak?'

Arthur still remembered the time when Ivy had said that his mana resonance would be in the single digits, and seeing a resonance of 92 from Firiel, he had started to feel numb now, as she was a genius.

'The maximum resonance should be 100, I believe.'

Arthur knew what he needed first—he needed that Mana Resonance she had. He didn't know if he would be considered a genius after getting that or not, as he could only get one other thing besides it, so he had to choose carefully.

But first, I don't know how to get her Mana Resonance.

He did believe it would be through talent or affinity at first, thinking something like mana affinity.

But after seeing all her affinities himself, he knew affinity was not the answer. He remembered in her talent there was an SS-ranked talent called Mana Genius. He believed it could be the reason for her high resonance.

'I also remember Ivy had mentioned at least he had no talent at all, and his mana resonance should be a single digit.'

So he was confident that Mana Genius (SS) was the answer here.

'I can't see any other possibility.'

He had also seen some passive skills she had due to this talent alone, which were part of this, so he was excited.

He looked at her status screen and recalled the information.

'Mana Recovery Boost (Talent Passive), Elemental Affinity Focus (Talent Passive), Quick Learner (Talent Passive), Elemental Resilience (Talent Passive)'

'Holy shit, this is too good to be true.'

'But what about the other thing? I have no clue what I should choose.'

Arthur believed if he had some basic knowledge about this stuff, it would have been great, but he had to make do with his previous world's game knowledge and his own reasoning.

Divine Chef (SSS), felt like a good option to him as it was the only SSS-rank talent she had. Just the SS-rank talent Mana Genius was so overpowered, that he knew it would be something to look out for.

But he was still not sure.

He decided to open his status screen and see his own info before doing anything.

He had thought for a second about just keeping her as his guard, but he rejected the idea, knowing he could only create one reflection at a time. If he kept her, he would never be able to get stronger.

And most importantly, he didn't want to rely on someone else—even if they were a clone of his own creation. He wanted the confidence to walk anywhere on his own.

He had already made the decision to assimilate with her, but still, he didn't even have anywhere to hide her if he wanted to hold her off for a bit. He didn't want anyone to know about her. If his secret got out, he knew no one could save him. With power as great as him, he could even imagine the Elven Queen going after him.

Even the slight possibility terrified him.

So he started to think about what he should take.

Looking at his stats, he cursed in his mind.

'Why the fuck is there not even a section that could tell what affinities I have?'

A red screen popped up in front of him.

[Affinities: None]

'Why is this system so slow? If I hadn't mentioned it, it would have never even been shown to me.

'This mother trucker, what if I have nothing? At least show that I have nothing!'

He had some inkling about having no affinities too, but he still felt disappointed. But it goes away in a second.

'I have my Authority. I am going to have many affinities in the future, hopefully even more than a genius like Fira herself'

He was a bit salty, but knowing what he could do in the future, his mood became much better.

After seeing he had no affinities, he decided that he would get her Fire (SS)-ranked affinity for the second thing from her.

He did believe getting the SSS-ranked Divine Chef would be best for the long run, but he didn't know if he would be able to use magic without any affinities or not. He didn't want to risk the possibility, so he chose the safe bet and decided to get the fire affinity.

'It's not like her fire affinity is low-ranked—it's freaking SS-ranked. It wouldn't be that bad.'

While cooking was great and all, and that talent had limitless potential, he needed actual firepower to defend himself, so fire affinity was his choice.

He now focused on the crimson-haired girl in front of him. He looked at her azure eyes, from which he could feel her loyalty toward him, and if that was not enough, the connection he had found earlier told him how she was feeling.

He wanted to ask her something but didn't know how he should call her.

He didn't know if he should call her Fira or Firiel—her actual name—or either of those, as she was just a clone of Fira. But not just a clone, a new being, which was written in the details of his Authority.

He decided to give her a name first.

"From now on, I will call you Amber."

Amber, hearing her master's words, felt happiness in her heart, knowing her master had named her.

"I am grateful for your generosity, master."

Arthur did find her reaction a bit exaggerated because he was not used to being treated like this, but from his connection, he could feel she was happy being given a name by him.

But he could see she had no expression on her face contrary to her inner feelings.
