Jay couldn't tell how many times he had relived this memory. Each day started and ended the same way, stuck like a broken record in a nightmare that refused to end.

He had no choice but to endure the pain his younger self went through again and again, until it all became a dull ache. He had figured it out long ago. This was the final ability the Doppelganger had used on him that caused this ceaseless torture.

No matter what he did, he was rendered helpless, stuck in an unending cycle of recurring memories. Even accessing the system didn't work, leaving him isolated and powerless.

The only place he could retreat to was his Spirit Space. It held his Innate Talent at the center, with all the looted talents he had collected orbiting around it like distant stars.

He had searched every part of that space, over and over. But no matter how much he tried, he couldn't find anything that could help him break free.

All the skills and talents he had; none of them worked. The only thing that felt different was the orb in the middle: his Innate Talent,โ•‘LOOTโ•‘.

He had approached it many times, desperate for answers. But every time, an invisible force pushed him back. Some kind of barrier surrounded the orb, refusing to let him get close.

Running out of hope, Jay came up with one last plan. A gamble. If it failed, there might not be a second chance.

He temporarily dropped all the mental defenses he had and fully exposed his Spirit Space, aiming to align it with the end of the memory, hoping to confront the ABYSS FRAME's ability that kept him trapped in the recurring loop.

He could barely keep his Spirit Space open for a split second, anything longer was beyond his capacity. That meant he had to time it perfectly, aligning with the exact moment the memory restarted. He began with cautious hope, but pinpointing that moment turned out to be harder than he expected.

He failed again and again. A hundred times, maybe more. But at last, he got the timing right.

When the strange ability from the Abyss Frame clashed with his Innate Talent orb, it released an ominous hum, followed by a pulse of Origin Energy that rippled outward.

The shockwave broke through the bounds of the Spirit Space, and in a single, powerful sweep, shattered the recurring memory loop like pieces of glass, freeing Jay from his trap.

For the first time in what felt like ages, his surroundings began to change.

The world around him returned, but it wasn't the same. A dark energy, laced with faint chartreuse wisps that had engulfed everything. The shockwave of Origin Energy continued to clash with the bounds of the unknown space, quaking it violently.

However, just as the space seemed about to crumble under the relentless assault of the Origin Energy shockwave, a massive projection of the Doppelganger's upper half emerged from the ocean of Abyss Energy. With a wave of its hand, it dispersed the all-powerful Origin Energy effortlessly.

Gone. Just like that.

Jay couldn't comprehend what he had just witnessed. It was inconceivable that an entity as invincible as his Innate Talent had failed to save him. Little did he know, his actions had awakened something from its slumber and forced it to intervene.

As he processed the scene, Jay noticed something unusual, a smile on the Doppelganger's face, a stark contrast to its typically expressionless visage.

Then, it spoke.

"Here I was wondering who could have forced me to awaken. So the 3rd ORIGIN CRUX finally chose a new Host. You have my greetings, ORPHEUS Successor."

Jay froze. He recognized the voice instantly.

It was the same voice he had heard before being thrust into the Trial World, and every day since. A voice that sounded neither male nor female. The enigmatic voice of the System.

Stunned by this revelation, Jay watched as the Doppelganger, embodying the System, seemed momentarily distracted. It mumbled to itself,

"Nothing much has changed in these past 3 billion years...
Oh? A Unique Talent user reached Tier-10 in this fragmented universe? A miracle, to say the least...
No wonder the Fiends are winning now.
And... the Universe Embryo chose a new Child of Fate again?
Sighโ€ฆ The cycle never ends.

Waitโ€”three Omega Chosen from a single planet?
Two of them weren't even part of the Alpha Program?"

Jay tried to follow, but most of it was way beyond anything he understood. ORPEUS Successor? Fiends? Universe Embryo? None of that made sense to him.

Then the System turned its attention back to him.

"It must be your doing, ORPHEUS Successor. You must have put those ORIGIN SIGILS of yours to good use. Be careful not to create more Omega Chosen just yet. You might prematurely end the Trial Program before the participants can grow strong enough to protect their home planets."

Jay realized that the System seemed to know about the Origin Sigils, and even warned him against creating more Omega Chosen.

Many questions swirled in his mind, but he asked the one that had been bothering him the most.

"Why do you keep calling me ORPHEUS Successor? Is that the name of the previous owner of my Innate Talent?"

The System chuckled, its voice echoing across the space.

"Innate Talent? Calling an Origin Crux an Innate Talent is like calling a Hypergiant star just a lightbulb. These Cruxes exist on a level far beyond even the most extraordinary Talents."

Its tone deepened, heavy with meaning.

"Out of the 33 that exist, each has such stringent requirements for a host that, across the vast expanse of OMNOS, only 8 have ever been chosen.

They are the PRIMORDIALS, transcendent beings who stood at the absolute pinnacle of all existence."

A moment of silence passed before the System responded, and this time, its voice carried an unusual reverence as it answered his question.

"Among them stood the INDOMITABLE PRIMORDIAL, ORPHEUS, the one who remains eternally undefeated, beyond the grasp of any adversary."
