Inside the elevator, Udhay's initial shock quickly shifted into pure excitement. The idea of a single teenager taking down that many people was almost epic. His eyes sparkled with curiosity and admiration.
Unable to hold it in, Udhay broke the silence. "Did you hear that? A single teenager! This is straight out of an action film. I have to see that footage!"
It didn't take long. The armed guards soon returned with surveillance footage from the third basement and handed a tablet to Udhay and Noel.
The video played out like a perfectly choreographed fight scene. The camera captured a single bloodied young man, tearing through a sea of goons with impeccable precision and combat prowess. Every move flowed into the next, as if he'd rehearsed it all. But this wasn't a performance. It was real.
Noel and Udhay stared at the screen in disbelief.
It was Jay. The same teenager who had just walked out of the elevator with them minutes earlier.
If they hadn't seen the footage themselves, neither of them would've believed it.
Off to the side, 10 Tails studied the video closely. His eyes narrowed with focus.
"From a rough estimate," he began, "that kid used at least ten different martial arts styles during the fight. And this wasn't just random mixing, he used each one at exactly the right moment. Perfect responses to every threat. It's like he created his own style by blending the best parts of many."
He paused, watching the screen.
"If his body wasn't limited by age or stamina, those goons wouldn't have stood a chance. Even now, they barely did."
Every word from 10 Tails only made Udhay lean closer, his excitement growing. Noel noticed the gleam in his eyes. It was the same expression he'd seen the first time Udhay met him.
As the elevator finally reached the top floor, Noel turned to him, and suggested, "Why don't you go and meet him? I'll join you after my appointment."
Udhay nodded eagerly. "Yes! I need to ask him to teach me. Even if I learn just five percent of what he knows, I can proudly say I've become a ninja."
He hurriedly waved at Noel, who exited the elevator. Then, with barely contained excitement, he pressed the button for the seventh floor,
Meanwhile, in the infirmary, oblivious to all this, Jay sat quietly on a hospital bed. A fifty-year-old nurse moved around him, carefully applying bandages to his bruises. Her attention, however, seemed more focused on the TV playing across the room.
Jay would have preferred to handle the bandages himself, but the nurse insisted on helping. Resigned, he sat quietly, his body ached, but his thoughts were far more restless.
He had made it through today, but the future remained uncertain. He needed to find a way to deal with the looming threat surrounding him and his family.
That's when the door slammed open. Udhay burst into the room, his two guards following behind. His eyes darted around until they landed on Jay.
His entire face lit up, and he rushed toward Jay like an excited kid.
"Please!" he said, breathless. "Take me as your student. Teach me martial arts. I'm serious. Whatever you want, just name it. I'll use all my influence to make it happen."
Udhay didn't stop there. He grabbed a tablet from one of his guards and pulled up the footage. As it played, he paused again and again, pointing out each move that amazed him. His voice was filled with excitement, admiration, and a burning desire to learn. He spoke like a die hard fan witnessing his idol.
Jay remained silent the entire time, his face calm and unreadable. He hadn't expected this turn of events, but he recognized an opportunity when he saw one; an opportunity that could help him protect his family and save Nav-Yuga.
But the silence began to unsettle Udhay, and with a voice tinged with desperation, he said, "Say something. I swear I'll hold up my end of the deal."

The old nurse, who had been glued to her TV moments ago, was now fully captivated by the unfolding drama.
Jay finally spoke.
"I agree. But on one condition."
Udhay's face lit up instantly. He jumped in place, pumping a fist in the air.
"Done! Just shoot it, whatever it is!"
Jay nodded, then slowly began to explain. He spoke about the threats facing his family, the pressure building around his company, and the corporation working in the background to destroy Nav-Yuga.
As he spoke, he noticed Udhay's face grow a bit dull at the mention of Nav-Yuga. Sensing something was off, he asked, "Is something wrong?"
Udhay didn't respond right away. He looked down, struggling for the right words.
"About that... I can't help you," he said finally. "The outcome is already written. Even I can't change it."
Jay's mind raced as he processed Udhay's words. With a somber expression, he asked, "What do you mean?"
Udhay let out a slow breath.
"My father, the Chief Minister of this State, is deeply tied to everything that's happening. Even if I want to help, I can't undo what's already in motion."
Jay nodded slowly, the weight of those words sinking in.
"So it's not just Rohan and his father, is it?"
Udhay shook his head.
"No. It's much bigger than that."
He hesitated before continuing, his tone more serious than before.
"There's a circle of top companies that dominate the market. Years ago, when my father was at his weakest, they backed him. Funded his political campaign. Helped him win. In return, they imposed certain conditions."
Jay listened in silence.
"Those conditions included stopping any rising company that could threaten their positions. And when they say stop, they mean destroy it from the roots. Nav-Yuga was marked the moment it showed potential."
Udhay paused, the weight of his words heavy in the air.
"For every unfortunate rising company, the odds are stacked against them from the start. The outcome is predetermined before they even have a chance. Nav-Yuga was one of those unlucky ones.
The plan to dismantle your enterprise was set in motion earlier this year. It was meant to unfold slowly to avoid drawing widespread attention. But for some reason, the Quadnite Chairman decided to accelerate the process."
Jay took it all in, his mind racing. The pieces were finally falling into place. He had suspected something deeper was going on, but not this deep.
Facing one powerful corporation was hard enough.
But now he understood he was up against a coalition of giants, all backed by the current government itself. It wasn't just corporate rivalry anymore.
Despair began to rise, creeping in as the odds stacked higher and higher.
Sensing Jay's distress, Udhay quickly reassured him, "While I can't alter the outcome for your enterprise, I can guarantee the safety of your family."
Jay's tension eased, just slightly. It wasn't the ideal solution, but it was something he could accept.
"I'll take it. Do we have a deal?" Jay extended his hand, and Udhay eagerly grasped it.
But Jay didn't let go. He pulled Udhay slightly closer, locked eyes with him, and his expression turned cold as he spoke in a low voice.
"God forbid anything happens to my family… I swear, I'll hunt down every single person involved, including you."
The deadly look in Jay's eyes sent shivers down Udhay's spine. Despite the improbability of a single teenager taking on massive companies, he didn't doubt Jay's words.
He swallowed hard and nodded. "Understood."
When Jay finally released his hand, Udhay took a step back and performed a respectful karate bow. His voice was loud and full of energy.
"Sensei, I'll be under your care."
Jay stayed quiet, watching as Udhay's excitement bubbled over. The agreement was strange, maybe even reckless, but it was the lifeline he needed.
Then, without warning, everything around Jay began to glitch.
The infirmary flickered. The voices, the walls, the bed; everything distorted for a split second.
And just like that, he was somewhere else.
He soon found himself outside an ICU room in the same hospital, standing among his tearful siblings and distraught parents.
The ICU door opened, and a doctor stepped out. He looked at the family with a seriousness that instantly made Jay's stomach twist.
Jay's heart pounded as the memory replayed, dragging him back to the traumatic events of the day. He watched helplessly, reliving each moment as they happened all over again.
