His mind also realized that Issei Hyoudou was still alive because he had Rias Gremory as his savior... and it would be ideal to steal everything that was left of Yuki's wealth in order to continue developing his system.

But to do so, he would need to meet up with a common devil girl who was of the Devilukeans race.

Light walked down the corridor of the Kuoh Academy and found her near a cupboard where she kept her personal belongings and headed for her classroom to continue her studies.

However, he approaches her and stops her in her tracks, politely greeting Light in front of him.

"Ah, hello, is everything all right?" Momo said with a calm expression, waiting to see if Light was all right at that moment.

"Hi, I'm fine, how are you?" Light replied.

"I'm fine, I'm glad you're okay!" I returned the joy of seeing that Light was fine, but in the midst of this spontaneous joy... came a question.

Light ended up noticing Momo Belia Deviluke's confused expression, as if she wanted to ask something, but didn't know how to start without being awkward at the moment.

"My name is Light for your question, what's yours?" Light, in a confident and polite tone, asks the age of the beautiful girl in front of him... this ends up making the air more friendly.

"My name is Momo, Momo Belia... it's a pleasure to meet you Light." Momo responds warmly about his presence, and this makes Light more comfortable, but evasive.

"It's nice to meet you Momo, if you want to talk more after class..." Light returns her affection and ends up walking forward towards his classroom... but Momo catches his eye.

Light quickly stops his steps and looks at Momo, waiting for what she wants to say.

"Do you hang around here a lot? I have a feeling I've heard about you." Momo ends up asking what she couldn't quickly ask at the time of the greeting, and this makes her feel relieved that she's succeeded.

Light, with few words, answers her question without giving her unnecessary suspicions or pretexts about her image.

"I've always been around here."

Momo was at a loss as to how to answer that, and replied with a false claim since Light understood that everyone knew of his existence... but Momo somehow pretended not to know so much about him.

"I don't usually notice that much, sorry if that was a strange question."

Light smiled slightly, almost imperceptibly, as if he was analyzing every word Momo said. He had a habit of observing people's nuances, and this conversation would be no different.

"Don't worry. Questions are never strange, they just reveal something about the person asking them."

His words carried a subtle weight, as if there was a double meaning in them. Momo felt a slight chill, but she couldn't tell if it was because of the direct answer or because of the look he gave her, full of a mystery that seemed impenetrable.

She tried to disguise her discomfort by fiddling with a lock of her hair and looking away. "Well, I guess I'm too curious sometimes... but you seem like someone who keeps a lot of secrets. Am I wrong?"

Light tilted his head slightly, letting out a muffled laugh. "Secrets... Everyone has their own. The question is which ones really matter."

Momo's expression suddenly changed when she heard that, but it ended up making her a little interested in getting to know him... as much as Yuki Rito was on the straight and narrow, since his goal was to help her with the Harem Plan, she could also risk trusting other people.

Her mind had always been centered on Yuki, as she didn't try to make eyes at anyone in the school... and always stayed close to the perverted boy, but after what happened a few months ago, Yuki's reputation suddenly sank.

Even with his humiliation... she wanted to help him make amends, but over time nothing seemed to change, and everything remained the same without any drastic changes.

Light was the reason for destroying Yuki's reputation, but Momo didn't know about this affair since she hadn't heard about the gossip that had happened and had always been an introverted person who didn't trust other people easily.

"Are you doing anything these days?" Light asked in a curious tone, looking into Momo's beautiful eyes, wanting to know her daily routine.

She reflects on that question, but quickly tells him that she has a very fun hobby that only she likes to do since she was very young and her sister Nana was always the one who argued a lot in her childhood.

"I like talking to plants, I end up understanding their language and that makes me feel good in a way." Momo explains her favorite pastime, her interaction was always friendly and Light was surprised to realize that she had such a skill.

"Tell me more, let's go and sit down for a while." Light invites her to stay outside the Kuoh Academy for a short while just to talk and get to know each other.

She didn't expect this sudden invitation, even though she was seriously engaged to Yuki... her steps decided to walk alongside Light and have a friendly chat.

Light knows at all times that Yuki Rito is close to her, and theorizes in his mind that she has already had his breasts groped by Yuki's skull in an (accidental) fall on a woman.

The data he had on Yuki was clear, Momo's appearance was Light Yagami's own knowledge... however, he had to feign ignorance so as not to make the friendly moment look bad.

About halfway through their workload, they found a place to sit down and decided to breathe in the air around them.
