DxD: I Am Light With Villain System

Chapter 37: Chapter 36: Sayu and his Attempt

(Back to writing in third person)

One morning at 9:00AM, Sayu was climbing the stairs to go to her room to get ready to go to a book and comic book event, since her habit of reading was great and it was always her daily job to revise and add ideas to her literary works.

However, she ended up noticing that next to her... Light's room had its door wide open, his brother's custom was always to leave it locked, as he believed that someone would invade his privacy.

However, she was curious and decided to go into the room to see how things were going and if it was organized in the slightest.

"Wow... I wasn't expecting his room to be so organized." Sayu was surprised to realize that her brother's room was very neat and tidy, even the inside of the cupboards were nice.

As Sayu walked around the room, she noticed that there were some sheets lying on the floor... and she gently picked them up and put them on the bed neatly without having to leave them out again.

However, when she had minimally organized the bed... she noticed that there was something strange in Light's closet... there was a kind of digital padlock supposedly keeping the doors closed.

"Why did Light implant that in his closet?..." Sayu, confused, walked over to his locker and tried to investigate how it worked.

Looking closer at the object, she also realizes that there are ten buttons that, when pressed, gave her access to his locker.

"A numerical password to open it... how cautious." Reflecting, she ended up looking around to see if there was anything strange.

Her eyes fell on every corner of the room, and the sensation of moving her eyes in each place gave her a slight dizziness... as if everything around her was covered in secrets that made her anxious.

Just realizing that her brother locked his closet with a digital password made her really worried... because he always said that he wasn't supposed to go into his room without permission.

Sayu's footsteps moved backwards and she accidentally stumbled over his desk where his computer was and his white coffee mug resting on top of a notebook.

Her eyes turned and she realized that the very top drawer also had a digital lock... her eyes widening at the discovery.

"Light... why are you locking these..." Sayu questioned in a low voice and when she interrupted her questioning in a low tone, Light quickly appeared over the door.

"Sayu? Is everything all right?" Light asked in a calm tone, worried about his sister who was feeling a little frightened.

Sayu's expression quickly changed and she ended up grabbing a broom from the side to pretend she was sweeping his room to keep it clean.

"Yes, I am! It's just that it's been a while since I organized things around here." In a tone that was both excited and surprised, she affirmed her goal and hadn't expected her brother so soon.

Lightly relieved and very satisfied, he accepts her answer and asks her to leave the room to do her schoolwork.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of the rest here." Lightly, he escorts his sister out of the room and shows her a portable vacuum cleaner which he leaves on the floor to clean up the remaining dirt.

The sister is pleased with this and greets Light Yagami with a good morning, and she closes the door to let her brother focus on his daily chores.

So Light was standing in front of the door, with a cold expression since, deep down, she had disobeyed a rule imposed on her since they moved into their current home.

Sayu was never the kind of girl who took much care of cleaning the rooms in the house, she was always either studying in her room, or watching a Korean series titled (Dorama), while her mother was always careful to clean everywhere in the house.

Her father was always away from home all day, due to his daily work as a superintendent of the Japanese police, working with the world's greatest detective who never revealed his facial identity.

"Right, what's she got up to around here..." Light reflected as his gaze sharpened, noticing changes in his room.

His bed was tidy, so he also realized that Sayu had tidied it up... but because he's not an idiot boy, he has a small camera installed in a corner of the ceiling that no one can easily see.

Light sat down in his chair and logged into his program that gives him access to the images from his little bedroom security camera... and noticed that Sayu was doing much more than just tidying up his bed.

"As much as I used the broom, it failed miserably to deceive." Grumbling, he notes that Sayu was trying somehow to understand the digital locks on his cupboard and drawer.

As an exemplary student and son, he would never bring suspicion or explicit secrets to anyone... no one knows his real intentions, his mind is always attentive to everything and strongly proactive in obfuscating deep desires.

Light ends up using his password to open his desk drawer, and ends up taking his Death Note that he received from his system.

"No one can have access to this, no matter how much the system limits it." Light reflected as he looked at the black cover of the notebook in his hands, thinking about his fate.

He quickly put the notebook back in his drawer and got ready to head to the Kuoh academy to continue his current mission.

Yuki Rito was humiliated two months ago for his attempt to trip over a girl, stand on her breasts and cause that ecchi (generic) anime vibe.

His mind also realized that Issei Hyoudou was still alive because he had Rias Gremory as his savior... and it would be ideal to steal everything that was left of Yuki's wealth in order to continue developing his system.

But to do so, he would need to meet up with a common devil girl who was of the Devilukeans race.
