Don't Mess with That Dragon

Chapter 214 Crystal

Having gained such a trump card, despite its numerous usage restrictions, Austin still felt significantly more at ease.

Moreover, as he continued to grow, with the Legendary Bloodline within him gradually awakening, his understanding of Power and Elemental Power became increasingly precise. By then, he might perfectly control this immensely powerful technique.

Just the thought of wielding such strength in the future, conjuring hundreds of super invincible world-destroying compressed Rasengan made of wind, water, and thunder around him, tossing them out like free candy, turning the heavens and earth dim in an instant, a terrifying power wiping out everything, even Legendary Level experts could be gravely injured if not killed in the relentless bombardment.

Furthermore, the Rasengan could further advance in the future, and it could be Magic Modified to allow Fighting Qi to be used as well, taught to the Extraordinary Beastmen. By then, training hundreds or thousands of Beastman Officers, each capable of forming their own Rasengan and bombarding anyone they disliked, Austin could dominate a territory, living as a local tyrant, that would truly be a blissful life.

The power displayed by the super invincible world-destroying compressed Rasengan of wind, water, and thunder gave Austin immense confidence. Looking at the enormous transformed land turned into glass, years of apprehension about the survival environment vanished.

"At least now, I possess a technique comparable to the full-force strike of a Legendary Level combatant. No matter how many zombies come, I'll kill them all!"

Austin was clearly very satisfied with the results of the battle in front of him.

Without the Pyramid's control, he could clearly feel the unknown forces beneath the earth disappearing, while a certain power between the soil and the earth began to gradually awaken...

Simultaneously, without the Pyramid's control as the "brain," the bloodthirsty madness of these undead creatures had notably subsided, posing no threat whatsoever to the Dragon Nest Legion.

"Hmm, I must not let my guard down; I need to carefully monitor any disturbances in the southwest."

Recalling the time he almost got annihilated, a hint of gloom passed through Austin's eyes.

Neither the zombie undead horde nor the Pyramid established there could possibly form naturally; there must be something pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Who knows how they'll react now that I've destroyed this Pyramid lair...

Forget it, I'll see in the future.

Austin cleared his mind of thoughts; the Corpse Mountain and the Pyramid's foundation it was safeguarding had been completely obliterated, leaving nothing in the vast crater.

"However, I did achieve my goal this time."

Having destroyed the zombie undead horde's lair, there was no more threat; the remaining weakened undead wandering within a few dozen miles posed no threat to the Dragon Nest Legion.

"Where the zombie undead horde roams, whether Magic Beasts or Giant Beasts, most creatures have either been killed or driven away, and with the ground being corrupted, vast masses of trees have withered and collapsed. I wonder if sufficient Magic Resources can be found in those dangerous areas."

Dwelling briefly at the crater's edge, Austin suppressed his surging feelings and prepared to leave.

However, the moment he turned around, his gaze suddenly condensed, focusing on a spot in the crater's center.

"What's that..."

A wisp of smoke rose up and gradually waned, revealing at the center of the glassed and heat-radiating crater a slowly floating basketball-sized irregular crystal. With the dispersal of the smoke, it was fully revealed.

Within the irregular crystal, lines of light unfamiliar to him intersected slowly, like a chaotic mess kept together by a force, yet evoking a sense of smooth order. For a moment, the gentle luminance seemed to become the center of the world, absorbing all brilliance from above and below.

Whoosh!

Austin unfurled his vast membranous wings, creating a massive vortex, and soared toward the crater's center.

"What is this?"

Standing at the crater's center, gazing at the unknown crystalline substance before him, Austin's eyes were filled with gravity.

Danger!

A constant ominous warning echoed in his mind, but it wasn't the imminent danger of a blade poised at his neck. Instead, it felt like the dangerous heartbeat one gets when facing a truckload of dynamite.

Austin instinctively sensed that this colossal crystal concealed an enormous energy!

So vast that should it explode, he would surely be doomed!

Faintly, he even felt the surrounding space held a sense of being drained away.

It was as though the space around the crystal was repelled into void by an unseen, untouchable powerful force.

"Was it a by-product of the previous Rasengan explosion? No, that can't be! The power hidden within surpasses that of the Rasengan!"

Austin walked slowly around the floating crystal, scanning it meticulously.

He could distinctly feel space around him affected by this crystalline form, inducing a taut, twisted sensation.

What is this crystal? Where does it come from, and why does it harbor such formidable power?

Standing still, deep in contemplation, Austin wondered.

The earlier super invincible world-destroying compressed Rasengan of wind, water, and thunder had surely unleashed all its energy; naturally, it couldn't reshape into a more powerful vigilance.

"Could it be left by the Pyramid?"

The Rasengan wasn't possible, leaving only residue from the obliterated Corpse Mountain and Pyramid. Indeed, the crystal's origins likely relate to the Pyramid.

But why did destroying the Corpse Mountain and Pyramid yield such things?

Or is this crystal a convergence of some power?

Hundreds of thoughts raced through his mind in an instant.

Finally, Austin extended a claw, gently touching the crystal, and after no reaction ensued, he hesitated momentarily before grasping it in his claw.

"A pure energy form, and an unknown one at that. Its energy level exceeds even that of Magic Power!"

Having it in hand, Austin thoroughly observed and researched to draw a conclusion.

This energy from the crystal, Austin still didn't know its use. The energy level inside wasn't something he could covet for now.

His instincts told him even the Dragon Race's prodigious digestive power might burst upon consuming the mighty highly-leveled energy within this crystal.

"Better stash it away for now."

Suppressing the yearning within, Austin scanned his surroundings, finding no valuable remnants, then took to the air, flying out.
