Chapter 460 Brick
"Han Jiajia, who do you think you are? You have no right to speak here!"
"Shut your mouth. If you dare to spew any more nonsense, believe it or not, I'll send you over there too!"
Scolded by the heavily made-up woman, Han Jiajia opened her mouth, wanting to say something. But in the end, she clamped her mouth shut, not daring to speak further.
Afterward, the woman turned to Liu Er Gou, her tone becoming soft and coy. "Handsome, come on, drink up!"
As she spoke, she picked up the glass in front of her and downed it in one gulp. Then she picked up Liu Er Gou's glass, brought it to his lips, and urged him to drink.
Watching the scene unfold, Liu Er Gou suddenly grinned. Just a moment ago, he had clearly seen the woman's finger brush against the glass as she picked it up.
No way that wasn't intentional.
The glass wasn't even full, so no matter how she held it, her hand shouldn't have come into contact with the liquid inside. The gesture was far too deliberate.
However, Liu Er Gou didn't expose her. Instead, he smiled and nodded.
"Sure!"
After agreeing, Liu Er Gou nonchalantly took the glass from the woman's hand. He brought it to his mouth, ready to down it in one go. Before he could, however, he saw Han Jiajia beside him, frantically trying to catch his eye.
Liu Er Gou knew at once that Jia Jia was warning him not to drink. But things had already reached this point. If he didn't drink, it would likely lead to unexpected trouble.
After a moment of thought, Liu Er Gou raised the glass and downed it in one go.
Seeing Liu Er Gou down the drink, the heavily made-up woman's eyes lit up. She hurriedly poured him a second glass.
"You can really hold your liquor, handsome! Come on, have some more!"
Naturally, Liu Er Gou didn't refuse. He drank as much as the heavily made-up woman poured. By the end of the meal, they had barely touched the food but had finished an entire bottle of baijiu between them. Liu Er Gou and the woman had each drunk half.
Han Jiajia watched this with growing anxiety, but there was nothing she could do. She could only watch as Liu Er Gou stood up, swayed a few times, and then collapsed onto the table, out cold.
Seeing Liu Er Gou unconscious on the table, the heavily made-up woman couldn't help but curse.
"Fuck, how can this guy drink so much! Fifty-degree baijiu… he drank half a bottle and only now is he passing out? And that's after I drugged it!"
After saying this, the woman gestured to Han Jiajia. "Jia Jia, come help me! There's a car waiting outside!"
The woman was the first to reach Liu Er Gou, hoisting his arm and trying to help him outside. But no matter how hard she pulled, she couldn't lift him.
This made the woman start cursing again. "This damn guy! He doesn't look fat, so how is he so heavy! This is pissing me off!"
She then looked at Han Jiajia, gesturing for her to hurry over and help. Han Jiajia rushed to Liu Er Gou's side and propped up his other arm.
Only then were the two women able to barely lift Liu Er Gou, staggering as they made their way outside.
Soon, they were out of the restaurant. A van was parked on the roadside. Supporting Liu Er Gou, the woman and Han Jiajia walked to the van, opened the door, and threw him inside. Afterward, they both climbed in.
The next second, the van's engine roared to life, and it drove away.
The van swayed as it rumbled down the road, driving for a long time. After nearly an hour, it finally stopped in a very desolate area on the outskirts of the city.
Han Jiajia looked at the scenery outside the window, a hint of surprise on her face. She truly hadn't expected they would drive so far out of the city to such a desolate place.
While Han Jiajia was lost in thought, the woman in the front passenger seat turned and said, "Jia Jia, we're here. Hurry up and help me get this man, who's as heavy as a pig, out of the van!"
The woman got out first. After a moment's hesitation, Han Jiajia followed.
The two women, once again exerting a tremendous amount of effort, hauled Liu Er Gou out of the vehicle and threw him into a long-abandoned room. After they were done, the woman patted Han Jiajia's shoulder and praised her with a smile.
"Well done, Jia Jia! The driver has already called our superiors. Someone will be here soon to take this pig off our hands! You'll get a bonus when it's done!"
Hearing this, Han Jiajia managed to force a smile. "Thank you, Big Sister!"
Then, Han Jiajia added, "Big Sister, I'm feeling a bit carsick. I want to go outside for some fresh air!"
As she spoke, she started walking toward the door. But she hadn't taken more than a few steps when the smiling woman's expression suddenly turned vicious. The woman lunged forward, getting behind Han Jiajia. Pulling a brick from out of nowhere, she fiercely smashed it against the back of Han Jiajia's head.
As she was walking, Han Jiajia first heard a rush of wind. A sharp pain then exploded in her head, and she collapsed, seeing stars.
Looking at Han Jiajia on the ground, the woman said with a sneer, "Tsk, I didn't hit her hard enough. But it doesn't matter, as long as she's down."
With that, the woman produced a rope from somewhere and quickly trussed Han Jiajia up tightly. By the time she finished, Han Jiajia had recovered slightly from the searing pain.
She looked at the woman before her and said through the pain, "Big Sister, what are you doing? Are you planning on taking my reward for yourself?"
Hearing Han Jiajia's words, the woman paused for a moment, then burst into loud laughter. She laughed for a good while before stopping.
With a mocking expression, the woman looked at Han Jiajia and said, "I must say, Officer Han, do you really take me for a fool? Did you really think I didn't know who you are?"
Hearing this, Han Jiajia hurriedly tried to explain. "No, Big Sister, I already told you, I'm…"
The woman cut her off before she could finish.
"Save it! That act of yours doesn't work on me. Did you really think we're incompetent? That we wouldn't check your background?"
Hearing this, Han Jiajia fell silent. But then, she quickly realized something.
She's wrong. She's bluffing!
