Destroying My Own World

Chapter 419: Just the beginning.

Mykel noticed the changes inside him and made him weaker significantly, putting him in a bad spot. Aevia who noticed it had been trying to get rid of him so she could kill Elena, but his willpower to protect Elena was so strong that he could stand up every time he got beaten to death.

"I told you, it's futile and you're only prolonging your end. This will be the end of you," Aevia dashed toward Mykel and punched him right in his chest. "It's over..." She said quietly and shackled Mykel to the ground with dozens of chains and shackles that wrapped around his body.

Mykel had no power to free himself from the bind, and he was already on his limit after fighting Aevia nonstop. He couldn't even say anything but look at Elena who was still on the ground unconscious. He didn't know what had happened to her, but whatever she was doing, it was enough to make Aevia weak.

Aevia didn't waste her time and immediately clenched her fist and threw a powerful blow at Elena's head. But, before her fist could destroy Elena's head, something flew toward her and she saw a big fist in front of her eyes. She spawned an arm and blocked that fist, but the punch was so strong she still got punched and thrown away.

"We made it in time..." Aurea cracked her fist after she sent Aevia flying. "Now this is what I have been waiting for," she looked at her fist and it stung because Aevia's skin was too tough even for her.

Mykel was relieved that everyone came in on time, and he hadn't ever thought something like that could happen. He then realized the shackles and chains that bound him to the ground had been cut into pieces. He looked to his left and saw Luciel and her sisters standing and staring at him.

"You can rest for now and let us deal with her," Luciel said as she looked at Mykel's weakened body.

Mykel tried to stand up, but his body had given up for the first time in his life, and when he was about to hit his face to the ground, something soft hit his face. He realized it was skin and flesh, and when he rolled over, he realized it was Beldathiel who put her thighs in between Mykel's head and the ground.

"I'll protect you," Beldathiel smiled gently at Mykel. "Close your eyes and rest," she gently stroked Mykel's face and made him comfortable by wrapping her soft wings around Mykel's body.

Mykel couldn't resist the sleepiness and immediately fell asleep while Luciel and the others watched him doze off. Beldathiel created a barrier and prevented anything from harming her and Mykel. It also had noise cancellation to prevent Mykel from waking up from the noises.

"Belda is protecting Mykel, so we're not going to use that form now. Right now, quantity is better than quality, so let's fuck her up as much as we can," Luciel said as she watched Jeanne, Aurea, Brynhilde, and the others fight Aevia simultaneously.

Zherlthsh and her sisters nodded with understanding and then flew toward Aevia to join the battle. Luciel looked at Elena and saw Amaryllis protecting her like Beldathiel was protecting Mykel. She then joined with her sisters and got rid of as many Aevia as they could since Aevia had lost the majority of her timeline.

"Are you seriously going to keep holding it in?" Luciel looked at Aurea who only used her brute strength to fight Aevia.

"Mind your own business..." Aurea regenerated her broken fists after throwing punches at Aevia, but none of her attacks could hit her anymore because of the countless arms that Aevia summoned. "We are currently just dragging the time before they come anyway," she cracked her joints as she spread her wings. "This is a perfect warm-up session, so use it to understand your opponent's strength," she continued and then flew toward Aevia.

Aurea barely used her skills and power, she didn't want to waste too much energy on the appetizer. Although she was the only one who fought with her fists and feet, she was the most brutal in terms of brute strength. The others had to take a step back whenever Aurea took her turn to fight Aevia, and even Aevia found Aurea an annoying disturbance.

Rozan and Shelly had been busy forming a magic circle, one of the few magic circles that they had prepared for fighting Aevia. When they were done, they spread the magic circle and put it above everyone's head.

Aevia who was busy fighting Aurea saw the magic circle and she was surprised that magic could work in that space. When she was thinking about the magic while fighting Aurea, she noticed when the magic circle cracked. The magic circle cracked and released a powerful white thunderbolt and struck her in an instant.

Aevia thought the thunderbolt wouldn't be much of a problem, but she was wrong when she felt her body being electrocuted nonstop. She had no idea what had happened and that was when she realized the thunderbolt didn't disappear, it stayed like a thunderbolt that got frozen by time. She looked at her body and found herself impaled by the thunderbolt and she couldn't free herself from it.

She was furious that she got hurt by a mere magic, and so she grabbed the thunderbird and ripped it apart to free herself. She had to use a lot of power to free herself, but the problem didn't end there because the particles of the thunderbolt were still running in her body. Although she was freed from it, her body was still being electrocuted by the thunderbolt and it didn't get any weaker even though they were just particles.

"As we expected, the real one is the real deal," Rozan looked at Aevia who could withstand and endure the magic. "That was the Eternal Thunderbolt that fried the whole universe and everything in it. Back then we didn't use its full potential, but now we use its full potential and even maximized its power and yet she's fine," he pointed out.

"We defeated Aevia from the past with that as well. But, even though she's fine, the particle will stay there and will fry her inside for eternity. She has no other choice but to get rid of the particles or replace her state," Shelly responded as she looked at the cracked magic circle. "We will keep striking her with the Eternal Thunderbolt until the magic circle can no longer be used," she added.

Rozan nodded and then they both cast the Eternal Thunderbolt at Aevia over and over. It was hard for Aevia to dodge them because the magic moved as fast as her consciousness. She was being cornered and every time she got hit, the slower her movements became and the more thunderbolts that she couldn't dodge.

Everyone didn't know that Rozan and Shelly could cast the Eternal Thunderbolt over and over. They realized that those two had been hiding it from them and both of them were holding back during their sparring.

Once the magic circle was fried and shattered into particles, Aevia stood there and glared at Rozan and Shelly. When she was about to target them, Bhatmelec landed right in front of her with the sword in her hand.

"You're not going anywhere," Bhatmelec stared into Aevia's eyes with a cold expression.

Aevia felt a threat that was coming toward her, but she didn't know what it was. She immediately summoned dozens of arms to protect her, but suddenly all the arms were cut into pieces. She found out there was a similarity between the thunderbolt and the attack she had just blocked. Both of them could travel beyond time and space, something that only she should be able to do something like that.

"Petty tricks..." Aevia said calmly with her eyes closed. "If you want to play like that, then I'll play your game," she snapped her fingers and created countless magic circles above everyone's head.

"No fucking way..." Rozan was baffled that Aevia could copy his magic formula and create countless of them. "Everyone! Brace yourself!" He screamed his lungs out.

Countless Eternal Thunderbolts struck the whole space, hitting everyone and piercing through their bodies. They were electrocuted just like Aevia felt but ten times worse, making every one of them collapse. The only ones who survived and were unscathed by that magic were Beldathiel and Amaryllis since they both created the most powerful barrier they had ever created.

Shelly and Rozan had no choice but to reveal their anti-magic and remove the thunderbolts from their bodies. They could remove the dozens of thunderbolts that were frozen in time in an instant and that gave Aevia the ability to use that anti-magic as well.

"We know that it won't be that easy for us to fight her, so let's do this carefully," Jeanne said as she let her body recover. "We still have so many tricks on our sleeves, so let's not use them all now and wait until the time comes because this is just the beginning," she added.

Everyone nodded with understanding and readied their stances.
