Delayed Transfer

The next day arrived and everyone was preparing for their grand shopping activity. They planned to leave at around nine in the morning but something important arrived first. It was their breakfast that was delivered by one of a few of the hotel staff.

When everyone in the suite heard that somebody came in from the door, everyone went out from their rooms to check it out and when they saw the breakfast that was brought it, they all immediately jumped on the food that was being laid on the table and began devouring the food.

“Can you deliver more?” Mark asked the staff and the staff just informed him that more were still waiting outside.

Everyone knew that this day was supposed to be a day full of activity and they would need all the energy they could.

While they were eating, Donald arrived followed by a couple of people that Mark recognized.

“Agent Harper, Agent Feldman. Glad to see you’re both doing okay. How can I help you?” Mark greeted the two FBI agents who were the first government people to whom he communicated before after giving Donald a nod.

“I’m glad that you remember us. We would like to have a meeting with you,” Agent Danielle Harper said.

“I’m sorry but I’m going to be busy these next two days entertaining my friends, Can we meet after two days,” Mark said.

“The nerve you of requesting something like that! We have been patient and we don’t submit to the whims of individuals,” Agent Andrew Feldman said angrily.

Suddenly the joyous behavior of the people stopped and everyone looked at the agent who uttered a questionable statement. The twins and Liriel got scared and ran towards Mark and hugged him.

Mark used his Telekinesis spell to hold the agent until the man couldn’t move then he opened the door and tossed the man outside.

“Agent Harper, I will talk to you again in two days but if you bring that man again I will cease all relationship with you people.”

“Are you willing to make the United States of America your enemy? Please disregard that sentence and we’ll talk to you in two days.”

Agent Danielle Harper left the room.

“That was a bit forceful. You should remain in an amenable relationship with the government since they can make your stay here extremely unpleasant,” Donald said.

“I’m beginning to get an idea that they would try to stop treating me with kid’s gloves anymore and would probably treat me like one of those protagonists from sci-fi films who kept running from the government but I’m thinking that during the days that we will be here, they shouldn’t make any move. More than likely the next time I return, it will be covert,” Mark said.

“I can still help you for now. Me and Robert do have considerable influence and connection. Let us make a move first,” Donald advised Mark and he just nodded.

“Is there going to be a problem?” Nedertu asked.

“For now, none. Okay, let’s go ahead and conquer the shopping malls!” Mark shouted then everyone cheered.

For the first couple of hours, they were all together in one of the best places one could be on Earth. The malls. Hamil and his family, Lorendo and Madam Luzviminda were together shopping followed by a guide that was assigned to them by Donald.

Mark was with the children, including Albert, and Melissa together with the rest of his people. According to Melissa’s prediction, the men only spent a couple of hours to purchase clothes. Even Mark only spent that time to purchase clothes for the kids and he didn’t bother purchasing clothes for himself since his clothes were still enough.

After they changed into clothes from Earth, everyone blended with the crowd except for Nedertu but even if some were curious enough to ask them about his appearance like some of the mall’s employees, a simple answer that Nedertu was a cosplayer hired to entertain the kids, they didn’t bother with the catman anymore.

Hamil and his family purchased a humongous amount of things and because the circus leader had a storage item, it wasn’t a problem for them to store the things they already purchased. Mark didn’t even need to warn them that they needed to be discreet because people from the circus were experienced when it came to experiences like these.

Mark was surprised that Madam Luzviminda and Lorendo had their own storage items and they also purchased a huge amount of things.

At noon, they stopped at a restaurant and ate a lot to energize themselves and as predicted, after lunch the men separated from the women. Unfortunately for Hamil, Lorendo, and Madam Luzviminda, they had to accompany Donald and Robert.

Melissa and of course, some bodyguards hired by Donald accompanied Halinda, Melina, Lisa, and Norleen to continue their shopping for women's things while the men and the kids went somewhere else followed by discreetly dressed bodyguards by Donald.

The first stop they did was to a toy store and the kids let themselves go and played enthusiastically. The store let them be since they were purchasing an ungodly amount of toys and after Mark flashed the black credit card that Donald gave him, the store became much more enthusiastic in helping them.

Mark didn’t care as well and purchased all the things that the kids pointed at. Since he did have a spatial inventory, it was also not a problem for him to store the huge amount of items that they were purchasing.

Even Nedertu and Connor blushingly purchased some toys that interested them. They spent a whopping four hours roaming different toy stores. Their last stop was at a huge tech store and this time, Mark, Nedertu, and Connor were the ones who let themselves go and purchased everything that tickled their fancy.

It almost appeared that they took one of each product that one could see in the tech store and they didn’t stop at just one tech store, they transferred to different ones until well into the evening. They only stopped when the children were asleep in their arms.

They returned to the hotel soon and during their journey, Nedertu informed him that a lot of people from the surroundings were watching them.

“Don’t worry about them. They’re just the people from the government making sure that I will not disappear again.”

“Why are they so extraordinarily interested in you?” Nedertu asked.

“Because my powers are extraordinary here in my world and nothing like it existed here. Any mage from Veltun would probably receive the same treatment. The fact that I have the power to heal any sickness makes me really special,” Mark answered.

“So magic doesn’t really exist in your world,” Nedertu sighed.

“At least because of that, our technology leaped forward. We even reached our moon but compared to your archmages who manage to conquer dimensions, something like reaching our moon is truly pitiful compared to what magic is truly capable of,” Mark said.

“Your toys are wonderful though,” Connor said.

“So are your movies and shows,” Nedertu added.

Those comments made Mark laughed. When they arrived at the hotel, they saw that everyone was back and the whole suite was filled with items being sorted by the women. Nedertu and Connor joined in on the fun and requested their items from Mark so he retrieved them from his inventory and laid them down on the floor.

Mark carried the twins and Liriel to the bedroom since they were utterly exhausted and Robert came to get Albert.
