Delayed Transfer

The next day arrived and everyone was still full of energy. This was supposed to be their last day on Earth since after visiting Disneyland, they would return to Veltun. Mark planned to stay on Earth though to talk to the government since according to Donald, their contacts informed them that the government wanted to have a harmonious relationship with him due to his ability to heal any sickness. According to their records, even the very old when healed by his magic were tested and predicted to be able to live a lot longer.

Donald mentioned that many powerful old men wanted to meet him and were pressuring the government.

“I was informed that the government tried several simulation experiments regarding you like capturing you and controlling you through drugs and other external stimuli but based on the results of their simulations, given what they know of your powers so far,  they deemed it foolhardy to proceed that way,” Donald said.

“At least your government was wise enough to handle the situation well,” Robert said.

“What powers do they think I have in their records?” Mark asked.

“Telekinesis, teleportation, invisibility, flight, superstrength, superspeed, and based on the report I need all the powers a superhero could have. It also mentioned that because of your ability to heal, drugs wouldn’t work on you,” Donald mentioned.

“Surely there were groups that wanted to use force?” Mark said, thinking about the fictional movies he had seen about the government capturing superheroes.

“Of course, but the fact that you have been amenable with the officials from the start and your records are clean made those who wanted to have a good relationship with have a stronger voice,” Donald said.

After their talk, breakfast arrived, and all of them including Hamil and his family, Lorendo, and Madam Luzviminda were all in the top suite.

A veritable feast arrived and everyone got busy enjoying the food that would energize them for the day’s activity.

While they were eating, Robert said something interesting to Mark.

“By the way, according to my contacts, Agent Harper and Agent Feldman will be replaced by someone new. Agent Feldman in particular was transferred to a remote location outside the country.”

“He deserved it! He’s lucky I didn’t throw him from the window. The nerve of him scaring the kids,” Mark said angrily.

When breakfast was over, their group was led to Disneyland by several assistants that Donald hired. When the people from Veltun saw the theme park, Mark could see the astonishment on their faces and Mark decided to secretly open a warp gate nearby so his family could visit Disneyland anytime they wanted.

The children in particular were very excited that Mark had to calm them down. They rode all the rides they could and ate all the food they could eat and watched all the attractions they took their fancy to and because of the power of money wielded by the assistants hired by Donald, they hadn’t encounter any problem.

Mark saw Hamil, Lorendo, and Madam Luzviminda talking with each other about the ideas that they could copy from the theme park. Their discussion was so in-depth that the three were forced to list their ideas using a notebook and a pen they purchased from a stationary kiosk.

Everyone else got busy purchasing all the souvenirs their eyes touched and Mark was surprised that even the men in the group were doing the same thing.

Mark overheard Milena having a discussion with Lisa and Norleen about the items they were planning to sell. He heard Milena saying to her friends that it was a good thing that Mark had the power to copy items since they just had to purchase one product each and Mark would handle copying them and selling them to the citizens of planet Veltun.

Mark also heard that Halinda was making a list of the attractions that were based on Disney films and planned to watch every single one of them.

Based on all the planning that Mark had overheard, he wondered if Hamil and the others would ultimately plan to stay in a single location and create a theme park but then was relieved when it was mentioned then everyone denied that it could be done on Veltun since the people there didn’t have the power to travel as fast as the people on Earth and they couldn’t rely on Mark’s warp gate forever.

Mark didn’t want to stay in a single place and still wanted to travel the entirety of Veltun. He even hoped that his friends would join him but right now he didn’t open that idea to them since they were still enamored with gaining their own power through the dungeons and the three dungeons in Narcone were perfect.

The twins, Liriel, Toby, and Deo were charmed by all the Disney mascots that could be found all over the place and even Alber was enjoying their day but Mark thought that Albert was like him, enjoying everyone else’s reaction to the theme park.

After several hours of roaming the whole park, everyone was still full of energy, even the kids but the guides and assistants that Donald hired were looking exhausted. That was one of the differences between the people from Veltun and Earth, Hamil and the others had enhanced stats and even the kids were a lot healthier compared to the kids from Earth.

When the day was about to end, they decided to end their adventure in Disneyland but this time, instead of returning to the hotel, Donald prepared a safehouse where they could go away from the eyes of anyone interested in Mark’s location.  There, Mark would establish the Warp Gate that they would use to return to Earth.

Before they left though, Mark established a Warp Gate somewhere near Disney which meant that he would have to remove the Warp Gate that was made in the basement of his friends’ house. It wasn’t safe there anyway since the government knew that location.

After going back to Veltun, he planned to return to Earth to establish contact with the government since he truly wanted to have a good relationship with them so he could return to Earth peacefully anytime he wanted.

It wasn’t truly a big deal since with his set of his skills, he could roam Earth without fear but it would still feel good to travel his home planet openly without hiding.

When they arrived at Donald’s chosen safehouse which was a nice mansion in a suburban area, Mark established the Warp Gate in the area Donald had someone prepared and they all went back to Veltun.

Everyone was still carrying the excitement of visiting a brand new planet but after a few minutes, Hamil and his family, Lorendo, and Madam Luzviminda returned to their carriages bringing with them all the items they purchased from Earth.

“Donald, Robert, thank you so much for hosting us. You’ve been very generous to me and my friends and I do appreciate it.” Mark told his two rich friends.

“No need to thank us since we did have ulterior motives in making sure that we have a good relationship with you and the people of the circus. They would be able to facilitate our increase in power smoothly. I’m so glad that I chose the Wizard profession since magic has such an unlimited potential based on what Hamil had told us,” Donald said and Robert agreed with him.

After that, Mark went to Nedertu, Milena, and the other’s RV to place all the items that they purchased from Earth there which was considerable and after he saw that they were busy sorting again, he went and took the children to his RV to make sure they would rest well.
