DC: Rise of the Kryptonian Tyrant

Chapter 422: Never Before

Eternal existence, traversing the Wall of Origin of the universe, stirred a great wave of excitement.

The many ancient One Gods, long dormant, opened their dry eyes in shock and stared in disbelief at the spot where the radiance grew brighter and brighter.

Bardi's divine body flourished, returning to its peak state. Every pore of his divine body emitted divine light, radiant and brilliant, illuminating the universe in all directions. His momentum surged, crossing the universe, becoming the brightest starburst on the Wall of Origin.

"What are you!"

"Why are you so exceptional? You can actually bite the Wall of Origin!"

"This makes no sense. I'm stronger than you. My sharp teeth once pierced the corner of the divine realm, but the Wall of Origin shattered them.

Click!

Bardi turned his head and bit out another gap. His teeth were white and razor-sharp, standing tall like peaks. He had a strange feeling, as if he could bite through mountains and rivers, shatter the universe, and now, from the hardest Wall of Origin, he bit into the source.

The source stone entered his mouth and instantly liquefied without the need to chew. Like magma, it flowed into his throat, and the evolutionary divine body absorbed the source energy without any resistance.

His cells evolved ecstatically. The gluttonous mouth swallowed the source energy, interpreting the great mouth of the universe. Countless cells turned into universes, devouring the endless source and evolving toward supremacy, without pause.

"It's the giant beast!"

Bardi was shaken and enlightened. It was the thought of the giant beast, inexplicably merged into his body, that allowed him to bite through the Wall of Origin and turn it into food.

He felt that, as long as his body grew stronger, he could tear the Wall of Origin apart through the integration of the beast's will into his own.

But what was it trying to do?

Bardi didn't know. He was horrified and couldn't stop thinking about the intentions of the giant beast.

The intent was obvious. The beast had given him the ability to manipulate the Wall of Origin, and the timing was perfect. As long as he kept consuming enough source, he would soon be able to break away from the wall and return to the divine realm.

He stopped trying to guess the beast's intentions. The beast wasn't in the same class as him. Even the Monitor wasn't in the same class as the giant beast.

Only God and the beast belonged to the same class.

These One Gods were far inferior.

"Little friend, please give me a mouthful of Originium."

A former infinite overlord, eyes dry and throat parched, swallowed and pleaded. It was difficult for a supreme being, an emperor, demon god, or god-king to speak such words.

But they couldn't help it. They had been stuck for far too long.

Long enough to humble their invincible arrogance and ask.

"Give me one bite of Originium, and I'll serve you for ten thousand years!"

"Ten thousand years is but the blink of an eye. What good is that on the Wall of Origin?"

"No pride left. Just give me Originium, and I'll be your subordinate."

"Get lost! Still trying to act tough? Look at your dried-up corpse, drained by the Wall of Origin."

"I just want a mouthful of Originium. If I ever get free from the Wall of Origin, I'll serve you for millennia!"

"Ten thousand years is nothing. I'll serve under you, break through all obstacles for you, dominate the universe, and obey you for billions of years!"

"For all eternity in this divine realm, I'll be a dog at your feet! Just give me a few bites of Originium!"

The stream of requests was endless. Infinite sons, infinite offers. Just as he bit into the Wall of Origin, he had already acquired over 100,000 sons, grandsons, and wives. All called him ancestor, just for a bite of Originium.

Boom!

Suddenly, on the Wall of Origin, Bardi's divine body grew again. His cells, like universes, devoured the source energy and evolved madly. His divine body expanded, stretching across the wall, overshadowing many One Gods, piercing through the nine heavens and ten earths. His power surged, shaking the entire wall and causing a commotion.

The Wall of Origin could not be shaken, but Bardi's continued evolution stunned the gods. They gasped.

He had advanced from a third-stage One God to the second stage.

Third-stage power was roughly on par with Darkseid. Second-stage meant the level of Yuga Khan, someone who could easily crush Darkseid.

Darkseid was now a mere footnote beneath Bardi.

Bardi's cold eyes flashed with murderous light. As long as he returned to the divine realm, both Darkseid and Highfather would fall at his feet.

"Dad actually got promoted right here!!"

"Good dad!"

"Come on, husband!!"

"This is terrifying!"

"If he keeps eating, could he be promoted to first-stage One God?"

"This is insane. Such a brute-force breakthrough defies all reason. It breaks the common sense of the One Gods. Are newly ascended gods really this powerful now? No cultivation, no soul forging, no true spirit refinement?"

"He has no soul. His true spirit is his body, an invincible physical One God."

"He has no shackles. It's unbelievable. Even a physical body has limits, but not him. His body constantly adapts. Super adaptive, super evolving—yes, he's constantly evolving. The only limit is the source, and here, the source is endless. With the source, he can evolve endlessly. He's the only One God who is this terrifying!"

"The Wall of Origin will be his launchpad! There's infinite source energy here!"

"Isn't he about to break free from the Wall of Origin!!!"

The Wall of Origin was in complete uproar. Once they realized Bardi could escape, the gods were shaken. All eyes fell on him, yearning for him to take them with him.

From ancient times to now, no one had ever escaped the Wall of Origin. Could there finally be one?

They hoped. They longed. They wished for Bardi to bring them along.

Boom boom boom...

A massive, universe-shaking sound roared. On the far side of the wall, Yuga Khan flashed an expression of disbelief. Like a great gorilla, he climbed upward and charged forward.

Bardi's eyes were cold. He took a massive bite from the Wall of Origin. The source energy erupted wildly within him and was absorbed once more, fueling his endless evolution.

He let out a sky-shaking roar. Veins bulged from his divine body, which writhed like a cross nailed to the Wall of Origin. Under the stunned gaze of countless One Gods, his hands erupted with power capable of tearing the heavens. Dark tendons outlined his eyes.

"Roar!!"

With a thunderous roar, he shook the Wall of Origin. His hands, bulging with veins, looked as if they were pulling out of a swamp. The Wall of Origin trembled for the first time like a shattered tile.

Bardi pulled himself out of the Wall of Origin!!
