Chapter 47: Dozakh Realm
[18:59:30s]
"Huff, Huff, huff!" Victor panted, bending over his knees. "Eighteen more hours to go—fuck!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.
Sssssss!
As he heard the slithering sound of a snake, he started running again. Its scaly body was covered in yellow spots against the brown background. Its eyes were yellow with a dark slit in the middle. The thickness of its body was similar to a tree's trunk, and its length was 2 meters. It chased him on the yellow sand, almost merging with it.
"hissssss!"
It hissed at him with a long, serpentine tongue. Its tail vibrated, making a buzzing sound. Not only that, its body was surrounded by the Miasma. Victor glanced back at the snake with trembling eyes. He clenched his fist and sped up further. 'What should I do? I have already used up all the bullets. I don't have any other weapons.'
"Shit!" He gnashed his teeth and bolted forward.
His chest burned from the lack of oxygen, and his clothes were completely wet from the sweat. His throat was dry and felt like a pipe. His body was at the verge of breakdown, with wrist and ankle bracelets making it impossible to outrun the snake monster. And there was another bad news, the snake was above level 10.
'I'm exhausted, I'm feeling dizzy. I won't last until 24 hours. My body has already given up. Only with willpower, I'm able to keep pushing it. I need to survive.'
He forced his heavy eyelids open. His throat was so dry that breath made a whistling sound as he exhaled.
'I need to survive, I'm going to survive…'
Thud!
He fell face-first in the sand.
"Hisssss!"
The snake stopped and raised its head, towering above his body.
'I will survive this. I'm a Vampire Prince. I'm a Lunaria. I won't die until I take my revenge.'
"Hissss!"
The snake opened its fanged mouth and, in one swoop, it took him in its mouth and—
"Glug, Glug!"
It swallowed Victor.
"Hisss!" pleased, it turned and slithered toward its cave.
"Badumm, Badumm!"
His heart pumped blood under his cold chest and kept his brain alive.
'Vlad Lunaria—Victor Hans'
'Victor Hans—Vlad Lunaria.'
'I'm you and you are me.'
'We are one, we were one, and we will remain one.'
"Badumm…Badumm"
"Badumm…Badumm"
His heart pumped the blood in his cold body, giving it warmth.
Whoosh!
The blood reached the liver, stimulating the new Moon core; the waxing crescent Moon glowed crimson with stars like twinkling lights shimmering on its thin surface. The crimson light swirled around it, and then it flowed into the blood vessels. The Origin magic entered the heart, and it sped up.
Badum..badumm.badum.!
With every beat, the Origin Magic of the moon flowed into his body. Reinvigorating it.
His eyes snapped open to darkness. Slowly, darkness vanished, and he could see the filth he was submerged in. The smooth walls of the snake's belly pulsed every second. His clothes were completely burned with its acid, and his body burned from it, too. He felt light burning and nothing else. His face scrunched up, with the rotting eggs smell hitting him like a brick.
He examined around the narrow muscular walls, squeezing him tightly. His amber eyes glowed golden, and he smirked, "Let's have fun with this bitch."
His nails lengthened. He straightened his arms, slashing the inner walls of the snake. The Snake, who was sleeping peacefully in his cave, after a good lunch, opened its eyes and hissed in pain.
"Oh, it's a high-level monster; it can handle the attack without much damage to its HP." He shouted in the snake's belly.
"Hmm, let's coat my nails with my origin magic." He muttered, and a crimson aura covered his nails like a thin smoke coating.
Slash!
Long gashes appeared on the snake's side of the belly walls.
"Hissss!" It jerked in pain and ran around the cave restlessly. But that much movement wouldn't stop the angry vampire inside its belly. He hacked its belly nonstop. One after the other, the black blood covered his naked body, his skin burned, but he didn't care.
"Fuck! You want to eat me, you fucking worm!" With every attack, he swore at it.
"Hisssss, hisss!" the snake screamed and hissed in pain. It ran out of the cave and smacked its belly against the cave wall. Victor inside felt its movement; the stone collided with him, but its convulsions made him more frenetic. He kept cutting it like a maniac.
The snake came out of the cave and flailed on the sand. Wails escaped from its throat, followed by the maniacal laughter of Victor.
"I won't stop, I will fuck you half!" A muffled shout came out of its belly.
"Hahahaha, you wanted to eat me! Eat this!"
He slashed its belly nonstop and enjoyed its misery.
Splash!
Its body split in half, and He came out. The snake wailed with two parts flailing in pain. Victor stood up, black blood dripped from his naked body, and he gazed at the snake's head with a grin.
The snake shivered and felt fear in its very soul. It forgot its pain, and its remaining head slithered away from him.
"Hahahaha, you think I'll let you run away. You fuck!" he lunged toward it.
Slash!
His dagger-like nail pierced its neck, and it wailed in pain, but it didn't stop. Still trying to run away from him. He climbed above it and slammed into the sand with his kick.
Bam!
"Hisss," it hissed in pain and turned toward him. Its yellow eyes glistened with tears, almost human-like, it pleaded.
"Ohh, so you were intelligent too, now it'll be more fun to kill you." He grinned as he finished the sentence. He pounced toward its head.
Squelch!
His long nail pierced its brain, and light vanished from the snake's eyes.

Victor smiled and fell into the sand. He stared at the red sky, turning dark. The sky gradually turned dark. For a few moments, everything went quiet. Air stopped moving, and the clouds in the sky froze. It felt like the world had paused. Then two moons rose in the sky. Two Crimson Moons stood in the east.
The world resumed, clouds started floating again, and cold air touched his skin.
He muttered, "Two Moons, the Dozakh realm was welcoming them, or it was something else. And why I feel like the Moon Goddess is connected to them, too."
