Chapter 45: Class title-Mission
Ding!
[Subordinate Quest: Completed]
[Zack Anderson: Level 20]
[CP:3000+1000]
"Huff, huff, Huff!" he panted with hands on his waist and stared at the screen.
"Fuckkk…maybe this will help a little to buy that goblet." Victor exhaled, straightening up a little, every part of his body screaming in pain.
Splash!
A cadet jumped into the lake before him.
"Hel…" He screamed.
But Victor didn't move a finger. After a few seconds of drowning and screaming, another sound of someone driving echoed. And a soldier brought the cadets to a shore.
Thud!
He narrowed his eyes at Victor but couldn't say anything. Clenching his fist, he bolted away, hiding again near the lake.
Victor smiled at the soldier's behavior. 'Was he kidding? Why would I help someone from another faction? They're dumb, they divide us, treat us differently, and then expect us to show unity.'
He shook his head with a wry smile. He stepped forward, shaking his arms and legs to relax the muscles. He took a deep breath and dived in.
SPLASH!
As he was swimming up from the dive, weights pulled him to depth. Bubbles escaped from his mouth in shock. His chest started burning from lack of oxygen, but he didn't give up. He pushed his sore muscles and swam to the surface of the water.
"Haaaaaa," he gasped as he emerged from the lake. He swam toward the shore, slow and steady. And in a few minutes, he reached the dryland. Climbing out of the river, he slumped back first. His chest heaved with audible breathing sounds.
Ding!
[Sunlight effect 10% Stat decreased]
"Ugh, not so soon." He shouted in frustration and stood up from the ground. He started running again. He reached near the base of the mountain and started climbing.
Several cadets were already halfway through the climb, and he took the side where no one was climbing.
As he reached the midway, his eyes drifted toward a hidden cave at the side of the mountain. Its opening was behind a plain rock.
Victor's eyes narrowed, and he jumped inside.
Slam!
"What are you doing here?" He growled.
"Hahahahaha, Master, it's been a long time." Zack cackled, pinned against the cave wall by the neck.
He snarled, squeezing harder, "Answer me."
Zack gasped for breath, and replied "Ma- Master- P-please…"
He relaxed and let go of Zack.
Thud!
Zack slumped to his feet, "Cough, Cough!"
His pale blue eyes have turned red. He looked at Victor and massaged his sore neck as he stood up. He bowed to Victor and, in respect, replied, "I have reached level 20 master, and I want to get the class title."
He waved his hand, and a crimson screen appeared before Victor.
[Class title-Mission]
[Description: Under the full Moon, form a circle on your chest with the blood of your creator willingly bestowed. Pray to the Moon Goddess with your true heart and wait for her blessing.]
"Hmm, so you're here for that." Victor glared at Zack, who nodded sheepishly in reply.
"You do know that what are the chances you'll get a Dark Knight class?" Victor questioned as he captured every little movement of his body.
"Yes, I'm aware," Zack replied meekly, with lowered head.
"Hmm, okay then. You just missed the full moon last night; we have to wait for a month now." Victor sighed with arms wide open in a helpless gesture.
"Yes, I'll wait, master." He replied.
"You do know this Military Academy is a highly secure place, and we are not liked here?" Victor asked with raised eyebrows.
"Yes, master, I know. I will remain hidden." He replied.
"Hmm, I don't want any problem. Got it," Victor growled at Zack
Zack nodded sheepishly and backed away, sitting in the corner. Victor exhaled tiredly and left the cave. He knew Zack wouldn't remain put in one place.
"Let's hope that I get the CP from this ritual," Victor muttered to himself. He came out and started climbing again. Later, he crossed the bridge and sped forward. His legs felt heavy and like lead. He dragged himself slowly and passed through dense trees.
Swoosh!
Someone grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him behind the trees. Tired, with no energy to resist, he was pulled away easily. He fell on the ground, and she fell on his chest. The crimson pupils of Kate glowed, and she giggled, "Are you alright? You seem out of energy?" she whispered, leaning near his ear.
Victor relaxed and smiled at her, "Hello, kitty, what are you up to?" Kate's eyebrows rose, she gazed into his eyes, and then a mischievous smile appeared on her face.
She leaned over, and her hot breath wafted against his ear. She whispered, "Your kitty is hungry, meow!".
She kissed him and bit his lower lip, drawing the blood. She licked at his lips like a cat.
"Mhmmm, Yes, that's the taste I love." She moaned in ecstasy, her body squirming above his. She gave him a last kiss and stood up. She winked and ran away with a smirk.
Victor remained frozen on the ground, and his eyes followed her back until she vanished behind the trees.
He came back to his senses and licked his sore lips. He muttered, "I need to teach my kitten a lesson."
A menacing smile spread across his face as he stood up and began running with renewed energy. Back at the ground, Derek waited for the cadets near the finish line. It was past a hundred minutes, and no one had finished.
"Huff, Huff, Huff!" Panting, Kate reached the finish line first and collapsed back-first.
Her chest heaved, with sports barely hiding her glistening, large breasts. And her abs shone under the morning sun. A victorious smile was plastered on her face. Her smile widened as she remembered the bold kiss with Victor. She sat up and stared toward the returning path.
Not long after Feena appeared, gasping for breath, she collapsed near her and closed her eyes. Derek noted the two cadets and didn't say a word. His eyes drifted back toward the returning path and remained there.
Feena's breath relaxed, she sat up, and peeked at Kate. She whispered, "I can't control my inner beast. I need to train with him as soon as possible."
Kate's smile vanished, and she frowned at her. After a long pause, she gave her affirmative nod.
