=============

Since Charles made the last-minute decision to include Norin in the operation, there was no uniform ready for him.

But Norin didn't care about that.

He thought about asking Kara if he could use her spaceship to make a Superman suit.

Don't be fooled by how thin Superman's suit looks. It seems fragile, like it could tear easily.

In reality, it's made with advanced Kryptonian technology. That thin layer of material is incredibly durable.

Human weapons can barely scratch it.

But compared to Superman's invincibility, the suit seems underwhelming.

Norin wasn't after the suit for its defense. He just wanted to avoid his clothes getting destroyed mid-fight.

In battle, accidents happen. He didn't want to be caught naked in the middle of a fight.

A real fight, not the kind in bed.

And the suit wouldn't interfere with his sunlight absorption.

As for the X-Men uniforms, he didn't care for them. The material was too inferior.

Wearing one would slow his strength growth. It wasn't worth it.

New York isn't far from Canada.

The three of them flew a Blackbird fighter jet. With Professor X's satellite tracking, they quickly located their target.

Wolverine was in bad shape.

A burly man was pinning him down, unleashing a brutal assault.

The scene was hard to watch, almost R-18.

Nearby, a girl struggled to free herself from a pickup truck. The vehicle had been damaged by Sabretooth, and the seatbelt was stuck. She couldn't break free.

The truck was on fire, and it looked like she might be trapped in the flames.

Norin jumped out of the plane without hesitation.

"Norin!!"

"Your parachute!"

Ororo was stunned. They were hundreds of meters in the air. Without special abilities, he'd die from the fall.

Even she had to carefully control the wind to land safely.

But Norin didn't even have a parachute.

"How reckless! I don't know what Jean and Charles see in him," Scott muttered, frowning.

He quickly steered the Blackbird to land.

Ororo spread her arms, her eyes glowing as she summoned a strong wind to help Norin control his descent.

But it was as if Norin had wings. He moved freely through the air and reached the burning truck in seconds.

"Ororo, you're getting better at controlling your powers." Scott said, impressed.

"…I didn't do anything." Ororo replied, her surprise evident.

Before she could process what happened, Norin tore the truck door off like it was paper. He tossed the mangled door dozens of meters away like it was nothing.

"So strong!" Ororo gasped, stunned.

Scott stayed silent, though the corner of his eye twitched slightly.

On the truck,

The girl stared at Norin, dazed. He looked like an angel descending from the sky.

'Is he an angel? So handsome and powerful!'

'Did he come to save me because he felt sorry for me?'

She thought she saw a faint golden glow around Norin, dazzling and radiant.

His smile was like the most beautiful thing in the world, wiping away all her fears.

When Norin carried her away from the burning truck, she suddenly panicked. "Don't! Don't touch me! Something bad will happen!"

"Huh?"

Norin raised an eyebrow, an idea forming in his mind.

Rogue, also known as Anna Marie, is a second-level mutant. She can absorb memories, superpowers, and even life force through skin contact.

Her ability sounds powerful, but it's completely out of control.

She can't have normal physical contact with anyone.

To avoid hurting others, Rogue usually wraps herself up tightly, leaving only her face exposed. She doesn't dare let anyone get too close.

Her potential is immense. She can absorb not only mutant abilities but also powers from non-mutants like Captain Marvel.

In the comics, she eventually gains control over her absorption ability, learning to copy powers without harming others.

In some ways, she's even more powerful than Apocalypse.

Norin coveted this ability. While he could copy and enhance powers from the opposite sex, he couldn't do the same with males or neutral beings.

If he could copy Rogue's ability, it would make up for this limitation.

The only downside would be that he couldn't enhance the powers he absorbed from non-opposite-sex individuals, but that wasn't a big issue.

What Norin was thinking about now was his Kryptonian ability to generate a bioelectric field. This field was invisible and intangible, different from telekinesis.

Superman could lift airplanes and ships because his bioelectric field wrapped around them, protecting them from damage.

If Norin applied this field to his entire body, could he avoid being absorbed by Rogue's touch?

Norin hesitated for a moment. Before Rogue could protest, he grabbed her wrist and helped her up.

"Don't! You'll get hurt…" Rogue cried out, but then she saw that Norin was unharmed despite touching her.

He wasn't affected by her power.

One second, two seconds, three seconds…

Seeing Norin's calm expression, Rogue swallowed hard. A wave of emotion surged through her, and her eyes filled with tears.

She trembled as she took off her gloves, holding Norin's hand and rubbing it.

Then she hugged him tightly and burst into tears.

Finally, someone could touch her without being hurt.

This was the moment she'd always dreamed of but never thought possible.

Norin didn't stop her. He understood how she felt.

The test was a success. His bioelectric field protected him from Rogue's absorption, but it also shattered another plan of his.

He'd hoped to copy Rogue's ability and use it against Zod, absorbing his powers and life force.

But now it seemed Rogue's ability had limits.

It didn't work on Superman.

Still, her potential was undeniable.

"Are you… my angel?" Rogue asked softly, tears streaming down her face.

"If you say I am, then I am," Norin replied.

Rogue nodded eagerly. "My name is Anna Marie. You can call me Rogue."

Before Norin could respond, someone interrupted.

Sabretooth had finished beating Wolverine, who now lay exhausted on the ground. Logan glanced over and saw the scene.

'I'm getting my ass kicked, and you're over there flirting?!'

'What the hell! Are you even paying attention?!'

Sabretooth, noticing Wolverine's gaze, stopped his assault and turned his attention to Norin—or rather, Rogue in his arms.

With a roar, Sabretooth charged at them like a raging bull.

Hearing the footsteps, Norin turned and fired two red heat vision beams, hitting Sabretooth square in the chest.

Sabretooth collapsed, dazed, but after a few seconds, he got back up.

Mistaking Norin for Cyclops, Sabretooth covered his chest and head, protecting his vital points as he charged again.

Sabretooth wasn't smart, but he wasn't stupid either.

To deal with someone like Cyclops, he just needed to tank the hits, close the distance, and rely on his physical strength to win.

With a healing factor rivaling Wolverine's, Cyclops could only slow him down, not defeat him.

"The advantage is mine!"
