=============

Sabretooth had a beautiful plan.

If he were really facing Cyclops, defeating him would be tough.

But he wasn't. He was facing Norin, who possessed superhuman strength. Even in his weakened state, Kara could still toy with Sabretooth using just one hand.

While holding Rogue in his arms, Norin caught Sabretooth's right fist mid-swing and twisted it slightly. The sound of bones cracking echoed.

Sabretooth was tough—or maybe he was just used to this level of pain—because he didn't make a sound.

Stubborn as ever, he tried to attack with his other hand.

Bang!

Before Sabretooth could move, Norin's right foot slammed into his abdomen. The force of the kick sent Sabretooth flying hundreds of meters like a ragdoll!

As he flew, everyone heard a sonic boom.

He crashed into the woods and didn't move.

Norin knew Sabretooth's abdomen was likely shattered, possibly turned to pulp.

Even with Sabretooth's healing factor, he wouldn't recover anytime soon.

If he was unlucky, he might freeze into an ice sculpture under the heavy snow before fully healing.

Thanks to Norin's bioelectric field, Sabretooth's blood didn't splatter on him or Rogue.

The attack was so fast that Rogue only saw Sabretooth charging, then flying away.

Ororo and Cyclops, still on the plane, were silent.

Their perspectives had just been reshaped.

"Scott, he and you…"

"Don't say it! I have nothing to do with him!"

Scott quickly distanced himself, but he felt uneasy. Norin had Cyclops's abilities—and was stronger.

First, he caught Jean's attention. Now, he's stealing Cyclops's title? This was too much!

And stronger than him!

One kick turned Sabretooth into mush. What kind of monstrous strength was hidden in Norin's lean frame?

Even Colossus, whom they held in high regard, couldn't match this level of power.

Looking at the mangled car door, steel was like paper to Norin.

Scott felt a deep sense of failure.

"Let's go. We need to bring Logan back before Magneto shows up. Things will get complicated if he arrives."

Seeing Scott dazed, Ororo took control and landed the plane.

On the ground,

Logan finally recovered from his injuries and was about to help deal with Sabretooth.

Then he saw a figure fly past.

When he looked again, Sabretooth was gone.

Kicked away.

'Whose general is this?' Logan thought. 'This guy's insane!'

The gap was staggering.

Logan prided himself on his strength, but he'd been at a disadvantage against Sabretooth.

Yet this man had sent Sabretooth flying with two moves.

And his "sister" was now in the man's arms.

Logan wasn't happy, but he wasn't about to pick a fight with Norin.

The difference in strength was clear.

He was no match.

Norin was helping him. There was no need to cause trouble.

"Rogue, who is this?"

Logan walked over to greet them, but Rogue ignored him, still chattering to Norin.

Listening closely:

"You're so strong."

"How come nothing happens when you touch me? Are all angels as handsome as you?"

"Logan couldn't beat him, but you took him down with one hand. You're way better than that big guy!"

"I like you so much."

"..."

Logan regretted taking Rogue with him.

It hadn't been long, and she was already fawning over another man. How fickle.

Norin wasn't completely absorbed in Rogue's praise. He nodded at Logan.

Honestly, he admired Wolverine, but admiration didn't stop him from stepping in when needed. It was like helping Logan escape his suffering and avoid so many love debts.

'Sigh, let me bear this sin instead.'

After all, Norin was willing to fight the world for the women he cared about.

Kara: 'You're right!'

So he never felt burdened by too many love debts.

Soon, Scott and Ororo arrived to clean up the mess.

Scott explained to Logan that Magneto was hunting him, while Ororo used her powers to clear the roadblock.

Norin glanced over, surprised by Ororo's thoughtfulness.

As if reading his mind, Ororo explained:

"We have to register with the United Nations before taking action. It's a right Professor X fought for. After registering and notifying the local government, we can operate within their planned airspace."

Norin raised an eyebrow. "Do we have to report every time?"

Ororo nodded. "Of course. Acting without reporting could cause backlash and deepen ordinary people's hatred of mutants."

"There might be emergencies where we can't report in time. In those cases, we explain afterward and provide funding to handle the fallout."

"..."

Although it made sense, Norin found the process rigid.

If you report every action, aren't you just handing your plans to the enemy?

If you're carrying out an assault and the target has connections with higher-ups, it's a disaster.

As soon as you report your move, the enemy learns your route, guesses your target, and transfers critical information, leaving behind only useless scraps.

Norin remembered the Hydra base where he'd been held.

No wonder Hydra started evacuating key personnel as soon as Ororo and the others set out.

Ophelia, a high-ranking Hydra operative, had even discussed it with Norin.

Norin had wondered why the enemy retreated before they arrived. Now he understood—it was because of this reporting system.

And who is Hydra?

The organization that turned S.H.I.E.L.D. into a joke.

They have countless intelligence sources. Hydra leaders likely knew about Charles and his team's moves the moment they were reported.

Then it became a game of cat and mouse.

'Nice.'

Norin remembered waiting at the base for two hours after the important personnel had been evacuated. Ororo and the others showed up late, looking smug.

It was ridiculous.

And why were they so proud of themselves?

These so-called privileges were likely just tools for those in power, possibly even driven by Hydra.

When he got back, Norin planned to ditch this "privilege" as soon as possible.

Wait—maybe it could still be useful.
