Chapter 299 - Prisoners
Although he blew up the Nexus energy, it didn't destroy the world, injure Willow, or cause any harm to the world whatsoever. What it actually did was erupt like a volcano, and Zion controlled the eruption to kill every angel in the middle world.
His senses scanned the entire planet, and he confirmed that all the angels were dead, or had managed to flee to the upper world in time to escape his wrath. He didn't care about those who fled, though. Sooner or later, the entire world would be his, and he'll deal with everyone who doesn't follow his way soon enough.
Using his divine power, Zion healed the land, restoring its former beauty. Though the destruction was still there, the world didn't look like hell anymore.
"I have to meet up with Lilith." Zion went into his fracture and then traveled to the demon world.
When he arrived, thankfully, the place was unharmed and was only recovering from the death of three Archdemons.
"You've arrived." Elowen greeted Zion as she flew up to meet him.
Where's Lilith?" He asked, getting straight to business.
"In her home. She's in critical condition. I heard from her people that she fought against Bahamut to buy time for them to escape. Still, she lost half of her forces."
Zion squinted his eyes out of anger and flew toward Lilith's house, not caring about its dick shape at the moment.
"L-Lord Zion? Please follow me, Lady Lilith is this way." A succubus maid said, showing Zion where her master was.
"Excuse me, my lady, Lord Zion has arrived."
"L-L-Let him in." Lilith said softly, her voice weak and without strength.
When he walked in, he saw Lilth lying in a medical bed, tubes strapped to her body, and her face was pale. When she saw him, a light chuckle escaped her mouth.
"You've seen better days." Zion smiled.
"Remember when you were scared of me? Good times." She joked back.
"Are you okay?"
"I'll survive." She coughed.
Zion walked up to her and placed his hand on her forehead. His divine energy soothed her body, healing the critical injuries, which sped up her recovery process.
"This should make you feel better." He smiled.
Lilith held his hand, looking Zion in the eyes. "Thank you."
"Anytime."
Lilith's smile turned into a frown. "Erebosa and Luminera lost to Bahamut." She informed him.
"What?" That was news to him. While he suspected that they were having a hard time facing him, he never would have expected them to lose.
"How? That's impossible! Two goddesses with a sentinel should be more than enough, right?"
Lilith shook her head. She explained to him what Willow explained to everyone when Zion was out of it, as Willow had come to the demon world to inform Lilith about everything.
"The gods' loss was all a part of their plan. They knew that waiting for you to become stronger would be their downfall, so they decided to act first while having a very dangerous, but smart backup plan." She explained.
"So they wanted us to kill them?" Zion asked
"Yes." Lilith nodded. Then she explained everything she learned from Willow.
"Dammit. I have to go." Without saying bye, Zion took off into the sky, breaking Lilith's roof in the process.
"Bitch."
---
"Nnnghh." Luminera tossed and turned until she woke up, her arms and legs chained and her body brutally beaten.
She looked to the side and saw her sister and Tessa both knocked out, with bruises on their bodies as well.
Her mind was a bit fuzzy, but then, everything came back all at once. The memories. The way they lost and were now imprisoned in Bahamut's Heavenly Realm.
It all started when the three of them traveled to Luminera's Heavenly realm. There, they forced their way into Bahamut's realm. He didn't fight back or stop them from entering; he just let them in.
While that was weird at first, they didn't think too much about it and decided to take him down. They needed to act quickly because Zion's life was on the line, and they needed to find a way to help him.
With the three of them, they knew in their minds that taking him on, while difficult, would be doable. They were completely wrong.
"I've been waiting for you." Bahamut smiled, sitting on his throne.
"Waiting to die?" Erebosa asked, pointing her blade at him.
"No, waiting to rid the world of the parasite that you are." With a smile, he pointed a finger at Tessa, and a massive hole appeared in her chest.
There was no attack, no indication that he moved, no trap that was laid out. His power was so immense that he could attack them without the trio even noticing it.
Bahamut looked at his hand, impressed that he was this powerful. "I thank my brothers and sisters for this power. Without them, I wouldn't have reached such a height. I'm not at the level of a Titan yet, but I'll be there soon. For that, I'll have to kill you two."
"Attack him from all sides! Don't stay in one place!" Luminera and Erebosa split up, constantly staying on the move while they attacked.
Tessa, not being an organic being, was able to reconstruct her body and rejoined the battle with a newfound anger toward the Dragon God.
The three of them held nothing back, attacking with all their might, strength, power, and even trump cards.
The result? A devastating loss.
Bahamut didn't even give it his all when he stood up to fight them. With a simple swipe of his hand, he shattered their most powerful spells. His finger was enough to counter their blades, and their strength was nothing compared to his own.
He brutally beat all of them to the point where their bodies couldn't operate, and even then, he still beat them some more.
"I cant kill you just yet since I need your essence, but don't worry, I'll be getting those soon. For now, I have to get those filthy angels back on my side."
After sending them to the dungeons, he attacked Lilith's army, forcing the Angels to submit.
Karyndra refused, so he killed her.
Lilith tried to hold him off, but he killed her as well, or at least tried to. She managed to get away just in time before he could land a fatal blow.
"Now we wait for the bastard who started this all." He smiled, sitting back on his throne.
