Between The Light And The Darkness: Gachuti Blood

Chapter 9: Hunzia

In a space filled with chains and shrouded in darkness, there was an obscure presence, imprisoned by these chains. However, in a matter of seconds, the entire place trembled, and this event awakened the dark presence that reacted to this tremor.

"Accept reality, king..." - The white eyes opened.

The chains began to contain him, but despite this, his efforts were in vain, with simple movements in an attempt to free himself, he cracked and broke all the chains.

"...For you will only return to be..." - An arm made purely of light rose.

From the void of that place, giant swords wrapped in light emerged, apparently obedient to the being of light.

"...One of my objects."

For a moment, the presence stopped, perhaps threatened by what was in front of him, but that scene didn't last long, with enormous brute force, he forced his current form to develop a mouth.

"Aaaaaaaaah."

A scream filled with indignation and hatred reverberated through the place, followed by immense pressure. However, this did not shake the being of light, who with a determined movement closed his hand and quickly the swords obeyed the command.

"Damn you!" - The presence exclaimed with all its might.

Darkness consumed everything and the place that once had chains and darkness. At that exact moment, there was only darkness and blood, however, the being of light was stained with the blood of the presence. Slightly swollen black eyes opened, seeing his arm raised and his hand closed.

"Sir Gachuti Blood, are you alright?"

"Huh?"

On the other side of the carriage, there was a young man, apparently around 17 years old, wearing long white clothes, with some golden details, his brown hair wavy in an edgar fluffy style and a simple, but charismatic smile.

"Sir Gachuti Blood, are you alright? Please answer me."

"I'm fine, yes, but what happened?"

"You fainted after being brought to the carriage."

The young man's concern for the person under his care was evident, despite this fact, Gachuti continued to converse casually.

"Thank you very much."

"For what, sir?"

"For being here to help me."

With a sincere smile, he finally stood up, even with the carriage still moving, going to the end of it and his eyes were drawn to something beyond that place.

"It's a very beautiful view, isn't it?"

"Really, it's beautiful at this time of year."

Outside the carriage, you could see huge wheat fields, it was simple, but a beautiful scene to behold, with wheat at its peak waiting only for the harvest and workers trying their best to keep up with them.

"We're almost there in Hunzia, so please, rest a little more."

"Thank you, but I've rested enough, I'll just watch the way there."

Even though he was still apprehensive, the young man wouldn't force Gachuti to do anything, on the other hand, Gachuti would feel the wind on his face again and enjoy the view.

That dream was different from the others, but just as vivid as the sensation... In the end... I was the being or the presence, it was as if I were in both places at the same time.

Hunzia, 6:03 PM.

"You should keep this."

"Thank you very much, Captain of the Knights of Hunzia."

"You're welcome, however, call me Cany."

On the road, from a structure made of bricks with a coat of arms, were Gachuti and the captain of the Hunzia cavalry, a robust man, with black hair and a confident smile, who gave off an air that everything would be alright, even in the most difficult situation.

"So... Thank you very much, Cany."

Far enough from the barracks, his curiosity got the better of him and he opened the bag he had, which had a certain weight. Inside it, it was full of coins, stopping his walk by the amount.

"This is a lot of money, I have to return it to the captain?"

"What are you talking about? He gave it to you."

"Huh?"

Beside him was Blood floating, with a carefree face, and it was only then that Gachuti remembered he existed.

"But it's a lot of money, Blood, I have to return it."

"As far as I know, he gave it to you, you can keep it, while you're here."

"You have a point."

"So, what are you going to spend it on?"

"First a map and then register at an inn."

He started walking again, while talking to Blood, he, once again, simply circled Gachuti.

"Blood, my dream earlier, do you have something to do with it?"

"Huh? Actually, I don't even know what you dream and think."

"That's good."

Random store.

The bell above the entrance rang and the door opened. At that moment, Gachuti entered the store, which had several things hanging and thrown on the floor, but without caring, he went to the store counter. Beside the counter was a man with cropped hair and a gray apron.

"Hello sir, what can I get you?"

"Do you have a map of the city?"

"I do, it would be 10 ocideans."

"Alright."

Gachuti put his hand on his waist and took the amount for the map from the bag he was wearing on his waist, placing it on the counter, and the seller went behind and took a map and handed it to Gachuti.

"Would you like anything else?"

"Yes, do you know a good inn for me to stay in?

"I know one, a good one would be the Raspter inn, just follow the map."

"Thank you very much, see you another day."

"You're welcome, come back anytime."
