Chapter 432: Planning For Future
It didn't matter how much he thought about it—he still couldn't figure out how someone like Aden could have obtained such a treasure.
Most likely, it had been some lucky opportunity that fell into his hands. As absurd as it sounded, even Daniel had experienced his fair share of such moments. In fact, a large part of his wealth was owed to luck.
He gave the ring one last glance before putting it back into his inventory. As valuable as it was, it was also extremely dangerous.
The Law of Chaos, while considered one of, if not the strongest law, was also the most dangerous. Many even believed it to be more dangerous than the Law of Nothingness.
That was why he didn't want to use this ring without any proper knowledge. It was better to research more first. If he was lucky, he might even become the legend who would cultivate the Law of Chaos.
"And about this axe… I'm really curious. It somewhat reminds me of a legend," he murmured to himself.
There were no explanations about the axe that opened the Primordial Chaos, but the weapon and the concept itself reminded him of a legend from his previous life.
He didn't know if this axe was the same one, or just another version of it, or something completely different. But his intuition told him there was definitely a connection between them.
"If this really is the same axe from the legends of my previous life, then does that mean the Celestial Domain and the world of my past life are connected in some way?" His eyes gleamed.
It was an unexpected discovery. Of course, it wasn't certain—it was only speculation. But what if it turned out to be true?
For now, there was no way to confirm it, so he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind.
He then opened his panel. His stats had increased drastically, especially his physical strength, which was now on a completely different level compared to the rest.
"I should do something about my soul too. Maybe it's time to use my blood to complete the progress of the Undying Soul of Dragon," he whispered.
He had learned during an incident that his blood could increase the completion percentage of his soul. But due to certain concerns, he had decided not to use his blood in that way.
Now though, seeing how much his physical strength had grown while his soul hadn't advanced much at all left him a bit discouraged.
In the end, he decided that once he left the Celestial Domain, he would go into seclusion for a while and resolve all the flaws he could fix.
If possible, he also needed to take a closer look at his bloodline. He knew his blood carried many hidden traits and abilities.
For example, back when he fought the Hero of Destiny on the Ancient Stairway, he realized that his bloodline prevented his fate from being destroyed or altered.
He had never thought a bloodline could possess such heavenly abilities—it was completely beyond his expectations.
But in order to analyze his bloodline and uncover its secrets, he would need Divine Senses, some innate talent, or an item that could let him peer into such mysteries.
Unfortunately, he currently had none of those. As for Divine Senses, he'd have to wait until he reached Rank S.
"Looks like the secrets of my bloodline are going to stay hidden for a long while." He sighed, though he didn't dwell on it too much, turning his focus to the next important matter.
"I've reached the peak of Rank B. To reach Rank A, just having enough Exp isn't enough. If I go into seclusion and dedicate time, I might be able to ascend even without relying on the Tower." His eyes lit up with excitement.
Advancing to Rank A without the Tower was very difficult—not impossible, but still a serious challenge.
His original plan was to use the Tower, challenging the third floor to advance. But now, he felt it might not even be necessary.
If he could reach Rank A, his combat strength would skyrocket. He would also obtain another innate skill.
And more importantly, at that level, he might even be able to fight on equal terms with Rank S Awakened and perhaps even defeat them. Just the thought made him thrill with anticipation.
Rank A was considered the minimum threshold for being recognized as a strong Awakened, someone who could step into the ranks of the powerhouses.
Of course, there were still many Rank A Awakened out there, so their power wasn't anything extraordinary by itself. They weren't even allowed a voice in important decisions.
But Rank S was different. They were true powerhouses—the ones who ruled the world. All the leaders of the great guilds were Rank S.
National Rank Awakened rarely ever appeared, and when they did, it was only for matters of great importance—like their nation or the entire world being in danger.
As for Demi Gods… they didn't show themselves at all. It had been an extremely long time since one was last seen.
That was why, until he reached the combat strength of a Rank S, he couldn't truly count himself among the strongest. Only then could he protect himself and his family.
"If I manage to reach Rank A, I can also challenge two Tower floors back-to-back." There was another reason he wanted to advance to Rank A.
Although he had cleared two Tower floors in a short period of time—setting something close to a record—in his own eyes, he was still far behind.
Someone at Rank A was expected to have cleared at least five Tower floors, and he hadn't even cleared the third yet.
He calmed his thoughts and once again went over his plans carefully. Time passed slowly as Daniel remained deep in thought.
But then Rynor's voice suddenly rang out, calling both him and Ilaris.
"We've arrived at the destination."
