Chapter 39 : House Hunt
Nash was utterly surprised by LadyFlame's information.
"Kekeke," LadyFlame laughed, feeling proud of herself as her shoulders rose above her head.
Nash's eyeballs almost shot out $$$ signs as he quickly calculated what it would be in real life currency when he makes 5,000 vials of his refined life potions.
'5,000 vials is $5,000,' he sharply thought, 'and if LadyFlame takes 30%, I will make about $3500.'
"Wait…" Nash muttered as his eyes lit up.
"Yes?" LadyFlame asked, noticing the sharp glint of curiosity that shone from his eyes.
"You said it's still rising. How?"
"Kekeke," LadyFlame laughed again as she nodded her head.
"They are still killing the wolves as we skip. They are going to do that for a cumulative of 24 hours. That's more than enough time to gather tens of thousands of wolves."
Nash swallowed.
He couldn't believe that LadyFlame was able to pull something this massive off.
This was a giant leap in his plan towards dropping out of school and making money to support his other plans.
"You are a genius, Lady," Nash praised LadyFlame, who accepted the compliment proudly.
15,000 wolf liver will be able to generate a total of 5000 instant life potions.
Nash intended to sell each vial for about 1000 copper coins and this was equivalent to $1.
Nash did not understand how LadyFlame worked the magic but he loved that she did.
Making $3500 in a day was not something he dreamt about.
Why would he go back to school if he could earn this much in a day even as a leisure gamer?
"You've done very well, Lady. Thank you for this."
LadyFlame nodded, her face flushing from hearing Nash's words.
'I will pay Will back and then prepare to leave the school,' Nash thought as he considered what to do next.
'I should start looking for a new place starting tomorrow.'

As he had planned, Nash went in search of a place to stay the next morning.
He had checked through apps that help with such but he found things that suited his taste.
It was either too expensive when he liked them or not even appealing to him at all.
Not finding what he wanted online, Nash headed for an agency near the school to seek help.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," he said as he bumped into a middle aged woman.
"No. No," the woman replied. "I apologise."
Nash smiled.
"It's nothing, ma. Sorry that I scattered your files," Nash added as he squatted down to help the lady pick up and arrange the files, making sure they were okay.
"Thank you," the lady said as she adjusted her glasses and smiled at him.
Nash nodded. "You are welcome."
They both went their separate ways and Nash made his way to the reception.
"Hello, excuse me," Nash said. "Good morning."
"Good morning, sir and welcome to Good Homes," the young man behind the reception counter welcomed Nash with a bright smile on his face.
"How may I be of service to you today?"
Seeking the help of an agency like Good Homes to find a house would cost extra fees and while that seemed like a waste of money, there was some level of guarantee that the client would get what he wanted in a house or something very close to it at the price range the client can afford.
"I'd like to see your list of houses," Nash requested.
"Definitely, sir but do you have any in mind?"
Nash nodded and started speaking with the receptionist as he typed away on his computer to find what would suit Nash's description.
After spending a few minutes at the reception, the young man directed him to the next office with a slip in his hand.
"Just head to the second floor, Office 2A," he said. "The second office in the hallway to your left."
Nash nodded in understanding and thanked him.
******
Offside 2A, Second Floor of Good Homes Agency.
The office was not hard to find.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Yes, come in!" someone spoke from behind the door.
The creaked open under Nash's grip almost immediately after and he went in head first.
"Good day…" he paused, staring at the face in front of him for a second.
He recognised this person.
It was the woman from moments ago that bumped into him because she was busy with her phone instead of looking at where she was walking.
The woman raised her head, also surprised to see Nash again.
"You?" she muttered with a half smile and with a welcoming hand gesture, she said, "Please, come in. Have a seat."
Coincidentally, they had run into each other once again.
Little did Nash know that this meeting was fated to be in his favour.
"Please, have a seat, mister…"
"Nash. Nash Elias O'Neil."
"Do sit down, Mister O'Neil."
"Thank you."
"I'd like to, once again, apologise for earlier…"
"Oh, don't worry about it. It's nothing really."
Nash sat down and adjusted into a comfortable position before passing the slip from the reception over to her to look at.
She glanced through the slip for a couple of seconds, massaging her jaw.
"Hmm. You are looking for a place."
"Yes."
"Unfortunately, we don't have any available spaces that match what you penned down here."
Nash frowned.
He expected his house hunt to be easier now that he walked into an agency and not get any harder.
"When will you have something like that?"
"To be honest with you," she said. "I don't really know since management put a pause on small projects for now but we still take requests when we reboot them again."
Nash exhaled and clicked his tongue.
"But how about I suggest something…"
Nash's face brightened up, eager to hear what the woman was about to say.
Maybe he would find some solution laced in her suggestion.
"I have a room to spare," she mentioned, "...and if you are ready, I can rent it out to you at $1000 per month."
Nash was surprised that the lady wanted to help him.
Compared to the type of buildings that Nash had requested, this one was much cheaper and affordable.
$1000 rent per month was not something that came by so easily, but Nash would find a way to meet up with that problem when it was time.
