Chapter 33 : Shocking Outcome
"Get out of here," Nash said with an icy cold stare that sent shivers down Greg's spine.
Greg felt the intent from Nash to destroy him if not that he was holding himself back.
He was only bruised with reddened cheeks that were painful and swollen.
Looking at Nash now, Greg felt fear and at the same time, anger but there was nothing he could do.
Sensing the hatred that was brewing in Greg's eyes, Nash smiled maniacally at him and asked in the most gentle voice as he raised his hand.
"Wanna beat me?"
"No. No," Greg answered quickly, crossing his arms over his head to shield himself. "Don't hit me again, please. We will leave you alone."
Nash looked at him for a couple of seconds and clicked his tongue.
Greg, who once had the image of a high and mighty person in Nash's mind, now looked pathetic.
He shook his head and walked away as he returned to his classroom.

A few minutes later, Nash returned to the class and everyone became silent.
It was as if they were looking at a ghost since they did not expect him to return in one piece.
Nash looked around for a bit, his persona calm and collected.
Looking at how composed Nash was, the class was uneasy.
They even went as far as escalating the matter with low tone gossips that Greg must have dealt a brutal mental damage to him.
"Did they just talk?"
"Talk? We all know Greg and we all also know that, with him it doesn't end with just a talk."
"But he has no injuries whatsoever."
"Maybe he groveled and Greg had mercy on him. You know, he and his goons like to humiliate people first."
Everybody had an opinion about what happened and they did not try to hide it.
Nash locked eyes with the classmate who snitched on him for a moment, making him feel nervous as he looked away in embarrassment.
Nash calmly went back to his seat, saying no words to anybody until he sat down.
Tobias stared at his seat mate with his mouth open as he could not understand how Nash did not have a single scratch on his body.
Nash sat down and relaxed, putting his arms behind his head like a cool kid as he looked at Tobias.
"Told you I would be fine," Nash boasted while chuckling.
"I'm the danger."
"What happened?" Tobias asked, very curious about what Nash did to escape Greg's claws.
Nash patted his thighs. "You will find out soon. Relax."
As he boasted to his seat mate, Nash turned around to meet Bella looking at him.
Pumping with adrenaline from bullying Greg, Nash smirked and winked at her but she rolled her eyes instead and then looked away, making Nash laugh lightly.
******
The tempo of the room died down and everybody returned to status quo. Even Nash went back to his reading after Tobias handed him his flung book back.
Nash was focused on get the words in when he heard someone shouted his name in front of the entire class.
Nash felt a shock inside his body, instinctively thinking to himself, 'What the hell is it again?', before even recognising the voice.
He raised his head, only to see Eileen Weatherbee standing in front of their class with her arms to her waist.
Singling Nash out from the crowd, she paced to his seat and frantically examined him.
"Are you okay?" she asked. "I learnt that Greg came here to look for you."
"I'm fine," Nash replied, trying to stop her from being all over him. "I'm okay. Nothing happened to me."
For the umpteenth time today, the entire class was shocked again.
How the hell did one of the school beauties know Nash this closely?
Why was she fawning over him so much?
Their faces went from shocked to confused, most especially the boys of the class who had a crush on Eileen.
She was a dream girl. Gentle and mature minded, at least that was what they thought about her.
"Is there anything you want me to do for you?" Nash asked, throwing her mind off her primary intention of coming here.
"What happened with Greg?" Eileen persisted. "Tell me!"
"I beat him."
"Eh?!" Tobias and Eileen chorused loudly, drawing attention to the three of them.
Nash said nothing else but nodded his head a few times to buttress his point.
"Bu—"
"You haven't been sleeping well, have you?" Nash asked, cutting Eileen off and changing the topic of their discussion.
Nash noticed the eye bags she has and pointed them out to her.
Eileen blushed and smiled. "Not really, I have a presentation to prepare for. So it takes most of my sleeping time at night. I should be done tomorrow or next though."
"You would have told us yesterday and we wouldn't mind."
Eileen shook her head in defiance. "No! I was having so much fun."
Nash recalled that Eileen was also volunteering as an assistant at a health centre and that made him see her in a different light.
How she could juggle these many things at the same time and still maintain high grades was beyond him.
He, on the other hand, was seriously considering stopping school and dropping out now that he was making notable progress in the game.
Nash knew that soon, Apex Online would be a defining force in their world and he wanted to give it 100%, so that he can reap from his efforts abundantly.
"Try to rest sometimes, Senior Eileen," Nash advised her. "I like that you can do a lot of things at the same time but don't end up breaking down. That wouldn't be a good sight to see."
Eileen's eyes widened and bubbled as she smiled sweetly from ear to ear.
"You are quite a caring boy. You must have a ton of girls that have a crush on you for that," she replied, catching Nash off guard as he nearly choked on his saliva hearing what she said.
Him? A ton of girls crushing on him?
Someone who was still having difficulties getting the one girl he liked.
