A Student with Multiverse Chat Group

Touching on the accept icon, the screen dissolved and a huge disclaimer showed up in front of me, which was written in Japanese language unlike the english. Is it because I'm Japanese in this world?

It didn't mention that we're basically anime characters, who will be connected to each other through this chat group. Instead of mentioning the anime worlds, it's written that the people from different worlds will be a part of this group and more will be added as we complete the quests assigned to us in that world.

Pretty much like the ones that I read back in my world, but I am not sure if only anime characters will be connected or will there be Marvel characters as well? That would be so insane, and if Deadpool joins this group, I would literally find the creator of this group and will give a hug.

Focusing back on the screen, after the disclaimer was gone, screen went completely blue and in the next moment, there were multiple icons on the screen in the squared boxes, just like in an iPad. The user interface was pretty much similar to it. I wonder if the one who designed it was once an employee of Apple because there were so many similarities.

I touched on the first icon, from the right and it was,

Right now there were no messages in there, since I was the only one in there. More members will be added by next 2 hours, because I can see the countdown over four empty spaces in the,

This feature is quite nice. We can talk to the members personally without disrupting the main talk in the chat discussion. And as more people will join in, it will become more necessary and knowing this very well, they gave this feature from the start.

Next one is the quest, I wonder what's the details in here.

After the completion of task, the participants will receive a chest based on difficulty level of mission, regardless of member's strength levels. Well that made me clear about everything related to quests, now next is shop.

Unlike the other icons which were in blue color, it was in a grey complexion, which made me curious and I touched on it to check, why it was the odd one out?

Well that's a bummer. I wanted to look into it so badly, but I can only wait till I get the first quest. It should have been opened from start, I don't know why it's locked?

For now there are only these features available in this chat group. Shop. Quest, Chat. I think there will be more in future, because there is empty spaces on the screen, which might come with new update or upgradation of this chat group.

Turning off the blue hologram, I focused back on reading the book that was on my desk. I am feeling more excited about the chat group now, instead of this book. Excited or not, I'll read it until I'm finished with it, because that's what I've promised to myself.

To finish one book in one week.

Lunch break.

I headed out of the classroom to my usual spot at the roof. It's not that we're not allowed to go there, but since most of female students, choose to have their lunch in here and boys are no different than them. But I prefer eating there by myself. I find peace and ease while eating by myself up there.

The sun was glazing so hard that my plans to eat up here, were squashed in an instant. Sighing at my bad luck, I walked back to my way and sat on the stairs to have my lunch. I should have walked back to my classroom, but then I wouldn't be able to access the chat group like this. Sigh! Let's not overthink it.

I opened the chat group and familiar blue screen popped up in front of me. Taking out the sandwiches, I went through it to check if anyone else had joined the chat group or not. Touching on the notification icon which showed 4 in red colored circle, the details lined up in front of my sight.

This is crazy!

Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, Nami from One Piece, Megumin from Konosuba and Bang from One Punch Man. I am not sure about the Bang, but rest of them, are most likely the ones that I've guessed in my mind.

In chat section of the group, there were already over 79 messages which took me by surprise. Without further ado, I dived into the chat to see what were they talking about and reading all the prior messages, they were just introducing each others to us and talking about how they got approached by this chat group to join.

[[ Bang, Megumin, Nami: Hii ]]

After that there was an awkward silence in the chat, no one typed anything for few minutes, until Itadori's message showed up on the screen.

[[ Itadori: I don't know what to ask, but does anyone of you read manga? ]]

[[ Nami: Never heard of it, what's that? ]]

[[ Bang: It's a book with stories created by creative writers in the form of text and images ]]

[[ Itadori: So you're from the human world as well, Bang ]

[[ Nami: What's that supposed to mean, Itadori? We're all humans in here…. Right? ]]

[[ Rei: Who knows? ]]

[[ Megumin: I am an Arch Wizard and a human, the most powerful magician in my world. No one is a match for me in my world and I've been waiting for a challenge ever since I defeated the demon lord ]]

She knows that we will be joining each other on quests, right? Lying so blatantly to us, will cost her too much, once we go on our first task. Seeing her drop to the floor after the 'explosion' would be so funny...

[[ Megumin: Only if you address me as your master and serve me till your training is complete under my guidance. That's the condition for becoming my disciple and do some explosions! ]]

*Ring!*

The bell rang, and the lunch break was over. It ended so fast, I didn't even notice the time while I was having fun to talk with them.

[[ Rei: I was on a lunch break, so I am going back to my classroom. I'll talk to you guys later ]]

[[ Itadori: Bye! ]]

Turning off the blue screen in front of me, I stood up from the ground, taking the empty lunch box and headed back to my classroom. I can't wait to meet all of them in person,...that's going to be insane. Seeing the anime characters from the other worlds in person, once again, will be so exciting and fun.

After the lunch break, classess shifted from boring to absolute torture. The lectures were so boring, that I was thinking of running away amidst the class, but with my sheer willpower and tolerance, I survived it till the school was over and we were free to leave.

I was putting back my notebooks in my bag to reach home as soon as possible so that I could chat with them guys. The conversation was getting interesting, but lunch break bell spoiled the whole fun. In home, I will have my lunch and laze in my bed for an hour to chat and know about them more than I saw in anime.

"Rei?"

A familiar female voice fell in my ears, as I was packing books in my bag. Turning to her, I flashed my usual smile at redhead girl standing beside my desk, with folded arm under her chest. Rias Gremory, one of devil heiress overlooking this town. Her long crimson hairs were the distinctive feature among all the females in this school which made her stand out. Behind her, was the second most beautiful girl of the Kuoh, Akeno Himejima, aka Rias's queen, who had her usual easy going smile. Only few know, what's she like behind that 'beautiful' smile.

"Yes Rias, How may I help you?"

"Would you join us to the club room?"

"No, not today. I have an important schedule to laze around in my bed till the dinner. So, maybe tomorrow"

"There is something we want to do with you in person, so please follow us to the Club room" said Rias in a desperate voice, when she heard my refusal to her offer to tag along. I would have probably went with her if it weren't for the chat group that showed up to me early in the morning. Seeing her pleading look for a moment, I just sighed and gave in. I'll chat with them later at night, since I've no stray devil to slay tonight.

The nearby students who were hearing our whole conversation had a look of shock on their faces. The way she phrased it, anyone would probably take it in other way, but I know what she was referring to and I played along with her.

"Sure, why not? I am confident that I can take both of you at once"

"Ara~, Such confidence" Akeno joined the conversation with her usual ara remark.

"Don't worry I will teach everything to both of you until you are satisfied"

"That's good to hear, Let's go"

Only if they knew that both these girls were talking about the chess match.
