After practicing for a few hours, Shushi was able to focus for a while, and on the first day, she managed to meditate continuously for almost 5 minutes.

I then said, "I'm going to make you listen to the sounds of several things and tell you their names. After that, you will have to identify where each sound is coming from and what it belongs to in this environment."

I played many sounds for her, explaining their names. I then told her that if she hears any sound other than these, it would likely be the sound of a demon. Although demon sounds are distinct, she had yet to recognize or identify them.

As night was approaching, I was going to teach her how to listen to the sounds of demons, locate their positions, and then attack them silently from behind.

Now it was night, and I told her, "You should focus and listen for the demon sounds. As soon as you hear one, you must follow that sound." She started focusing, and soon she heard a demon sound. She began following the sound, and I walked along with her. Finally, she located her first demon. I calmly whispered in her ear, "Destroy that demon." She silently attacked the demon from behind and with one swift kick, tore its head off.

I realized that she had strength, but no weapon. With her current abilities, she wouldn't be able to defeat many demons. If more than 10 demons were here, she wouldn't be able to defeat them so easily. So, I decided to give her a weapon.

I congratulated her for finding and defeating her first demon. Then I said, "Go ahead and find more demons and eliminate them." Within a short time, she located 5 demons and killed them one by one.

After all this, I told her to go home because it was getting late; it was around 10:30 PM. She asked, "Aren't you going to walk me home?" I replied, "No, you'll have to go alone." I then said, "Are you afraid of walking alone at night? If you are, you should be ashamed as a demon fighter." She said, "Fine, I'll go home alone."

As she was about to leave, I told her, "You should meditate while heading home, or else you might unknowingly walk into a demon group. If you don't sense it, you could end up in trouble."

She began walking toward home while meditating. Suddenly, she heard the sound of one or two demons far off from the path to her house. I realized that there were over 100 demons nearby. I wondered what they were doing here and if they had come on a mission. While I was thinking, Shushi ran up to me and said, "I heard the sound of over 70 demons, and their numbers keep increasing."

I told her, "They might be here on a mission, perhaps to turn humans into demons."

"Alright, we need to eliminate them quickly," she said. She then asked, "I was able to hear their sounds from one location earlier, but now I hear them from 10 to 15 places, and their numbers are growing. Yochiro, how do we eliminate them fast?"

I said, "We'll have to use the blood method today." If we don't, many humans might be turned into demons. I explained my plan to her: Shushi would use her blood to attract demons and listen for their sounds to track them.

This method was dangerous because many demons might attack us at once, and we could be killed. I warned her, "Keep meditating so you can tell me which direction the demons are coming from." We followed the plan, and we quickly dealt with 10 demons.

But suddenly, Shushi told me that a group of demons, possibly about 50, was approaching. I said, "Leave them to me, you focus on finding and killing the other demons." Time was running out, and she quickly left to find and eliminate more demons.

I easily took care of the group of 50 demons without using any special sword powers. They seemed as helpless as babies. Without wasting time, I went after Shushi.

She had already killed over 50 demons, but was injured and exhausted to the point that she could barely walk. Then something happened that had never happened before.

Shangshu, returning from his mission, was being tracked by Muiro and Seto. Since Shangshu was very fast, he had already distanced himself from them. When Shangshu was near Shushi, he was attracted by her blood and approached her.
