Chapter 225: Meditation Training
"Meditation training?"
As he prepared to leave the Dragon Ball world, Zuke heard Merus explain the concept of meditation training.
"That's right. Although I don't know where Mr. Zuke goes every day after leaving here, judging from your situation, it seems you've temporarily stopped training after leaving, haven't you?"
Merus smiled as he spoke to Zuke—he had guessed correctly. After leaving the mission world, Zuke naturally had no opportunity to train.
On one hand, the everyday world lacked suitable places for him to train. After all, if he were to fully unleash his power, the commotion would be too great.
On the other hand, the everyday world also lacked a professional trainer like Merus. Zuke felt that spending a few hours training in the everyday world was somewhat pointless.
With that little time, wouldn't it be better to just enjoy life? Why bother exhausting himself in the everyday world when he had already spent over two months training with Merus in the Dragon Ball world?
"So, I thought, if it's inconvenient for Mr. Zuke to train over there, perhaps you could try meditation training."
Seeing Zuke's expression, Merus knew he had probably guessed right and continued.
"Meditation training can be done anywhere you can sit down. It helps you improve your control over your power in your imagination, allowing you to maximize the use of your energy."
In the original series, meditation training often appeared—whether it was Goku, Piccolo, or even Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super, they all engaged in meditation training.
In Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta once mentioned that while Jiren and others had similar power levels to theirs, Jiren was able to perfectly unleash his strength.
This kind of control over power is cultivated through meditation, allowing practitioners to unleash greater strength than others with similar combat power.
"In that case, please teach me."
Thinking this, Zuke nodded and agreed with Merus's suggestion—although he didn't want to overexert himself in the everyday world, meditation training seemed relatively easy.
Despite often chatting on his phone with Kato Megumi and others during class, Zuke actually spent a lot of his class time daydreaming or playing on his phone alone. Using this time for meditation seemed like a good idea.

{Transitioning to Shin}
Today, Shin woke up unusually early.
After leaving the Dragon Ball world, Shin realized he still had about three hours of playtime left. He initially wanted to continue training with Merus, but Merus refused, saying, "Mindlessly training your body is very inefficient."
This was something Whis had also mentioned in Dragon Ball Super. It seemed the angels shared the same philosophy: "Simply increasing combat power isn't enough."
But in Shin's view, that was something to consider much later. For now, simply increasing his combat power was sufficient.
Only after raising his combat power to 120 million points would he have the capital to challenge Frieza. Otherwise, discussing combat techniques and the like would be pointless.
Unfortunately, it seemed Merus wasn't planning to train him today, so Shin had no choice but to give up—after training with Merus, he had grown somewhat disdainful of solitary training.
On one hand, Merus's guidance was far more effective than training alone. On the other hand, Shin couldn't increase his combat power by pushing himself to the brink of death on his own.
He would have to wait until tomorrow to enter the Dragon Ball world and have Merus train him again.
So today, Shin unexpectedly had a few hours to spare—but the main storyline in the JOJO world hadn't progressed to the point where Diavolo appeared, and the main quest in the Type-Moon world was still being generated.
As a result, Shin woke up very early today. When he opened his eyes and looked out the window, the sky was still dark.
Irisviel and Sayu Ogiwara were still sleeping on either side of him, not yet awake.
This was the first time Shin had woken up earlier than Sayu Ogiwara.
Carefully, Shin got out of bed, dressed without disturbing Irisviel and Sayu Ogiwara, and checked the time on his phone. It was only a little past 4 a.m. He indeed had quite a bit of playtime left, which made him feel a bit wasteful.
"If only there were a fourth mission world..."
Shin frowned slightly, unsure of how to unlock the fourth mission world.
After pondering for a while without any answers, Shin walked to the window and used his "ki" to scan the surrounding area, checking for anything unusual.
In fact, Shin did this almost every day. Scanning the surroundings with his "ki" served two purposes: it helped him practice controlling his "ki," and it ensured he was aware of everything happening around him.
If anything unusual occurred, Shin would notice it immediately.
In the past, Shin's daily scans of the environment rarely revealed anything out of the ordinary, but today was different.
"Huh? What kind of ki is this?"
As his "ki" swept over a nearby mountain, Shin sensed a "ki" that was vastly different from that of an ordinary person.
It was an incredibly powerful "ki," though still much weaker than Shin's, it was several levels above that of a normal person.
Moreover, this "ki" was mixed with another kind of energy... something similar to the magical energy Shin possessed, yet different from the magical energy of the Dragon Ball world.
"...This should still be an everyday world, right?"
Shin rubbed his chin, feeling somewhat uncertain about his judgment.
Logically, this world shouldn't have such powerful forces. Otherwise, the Four Houses at the top of Japan's financial world wouldn't be completely unaware.
Although spirits and angels had appeared, characters like Mitsuha Miyamizu and Gabriel could still be considered part of everyday works.
Even though some elements that shouldn't exist in everyday society had appeared, they generally didn't affect others and could be seen as minor additions to "everyday life" stories.
But the "ki" Shin sensed this time was clearly beyond the norm, almost as if it didn't belong to a human.
Thinking this, Shin didn't hesitate any longer. He closed his eyes, focused on the "ki" he had detected earlier, and used Instant Transmission.
In an instant, his figure disappeared from the room and reappeared in front of the source of that immense "ki."
Opening his eyes, Shin looked around—he was now on a nearby mountain, not far from the town.
Among the trees on the mountain lay a deep green dragon, her sharp eyes fixed on Shin, who had suddenly appeared before her.
