A Different Smallville

"Oh, are you done being on ice?"

Relaxing a bit as the crew took a lunch break between shots, Leonardo saw a missed call from Clark. So he called him to tease him a bit, while getting an update on Clark's current plan. Since due to being on ice for the last few weeks, most of Clark's social life was messed up, not to mention his job application he had lined up.

"That's the first thing you have to say?"

Clark said, a bit annoyed. "So can you tell me what happened over the time I was out of commision?"

"A bit of this and a bit of that." Leonardo answered. "The world still turns and incidents still occur. Now apparently I am acting, Lois is stalking her cousin Chloe. Jimmy is having a small crisis due to Chloe acting weird."

"You went into acting? Are you insane? Didn't you say not to do something like that?" Clark's voice began to raise.

"Well, it was more due to Raya, Aurora and promises. They even brought out women's secret weapons." Leonardo explained as his eyes drifted to the side. "They were so convincing that I couldn't say no."

"Leo!" Leonardo could hear Clark's shout even without his phone.

"Calm down, their secret weapon didn't do me in…until Kara joined." Leonardo smiled.

The sound of the call being cut came from the phone as he heard Clark crushing his phone. While he began to rant about the irresponsibility and Leonardo hypocritical nature. Then began to complain about how weak Leonardo is to women.

"I didn't think my joke was phone crushing great." Leonardo laughed a bit.

Finishing up for the day and mostly sitting or being part of the background for the scene. Since they were filming a few scenes where he appeared, but besides when he made a one to two lines. He really was just part of the background or filling in gaps. So leaving the filming sight, Leonardo went shopping for dinner.

"So, you are Leonardo. Aurora has such nice taste."

Turning, Leonardo saw a tall man with a nice looking appearance as he fiddled with his suit button. He had short black hair and dark eyes with a devilish charming smile as he had a bit of an accent to his voice. However, despite never meeting him before, Leonardo recognized him almost immediately. Not only is he very similar to his television version, but the photos of Aurora's mother Chloe sneaked to him once.

"Lucy! Shouldn't you visit a certain woman?" Leonardo smiled.

The man smirk froze a bit at his words. Then he coughed a bit in his fist, since a variety of emotions flashed through him.

"You can call me Lucifer or Mr. Morningstar." Lucifer said with a new charming smile.

"I know. Chloe showed me a picture of you before." Leonardo replied. "Your daughter also has some…colorful words to describe you. However, Maize, Eve, Trixie said I must call you Lucy. They said you would love to be called that."

"Those traitors. Anyway I…know a bit about Aurora's attitude towards me." Lucifer said. "Time travel and time loops."

"So what is your purpose for coming to Earth? Surely it's not for another vacation so soon." Leonardo asked.

Walking down the street, Leonardo looked around at the fast food trying to decide on what he wanted to eat. While as a kryptonian he didn't need to eat, but he liked to do so, not to mention he hasn't tasted anything good lately. Just so he didn't seem strange, he followed a diet given to him that supposedly helped with muscle growth and health. Since it wouldn't do to get sick and delay shooting or he was told.

Now that he had a chance to get something that tasted great compared to the bland diet food given to him. Leonardo wouldn't give it up even if the devil came to block him. Well, the devil didn't actually block him but just huffed as he walked beside him.

"I came to check out my daughter's boyfriend." Lucifer said. "I heard a great deal about you, but I wanted to meet you. A man who boldly dates the daughter of the devil."

"Is that supposed to be intimidating?" Leonardo asked.

"Boy, even if you're a kryptonian I will still beat you up." Lucifer grumbled.

"I fought a few strong aliens, I don't mind adding the devil to that list." Leonardo patted Lucifer's shoulder with a bit of strength.

Lucifer's feet slightly sunk into the concrete ground, while he glared at Leonardo. However, he didn't press forward since he felt like there was more important business. Such as checking Leonardo out and running back to Hell to continue his work there without his daughter finding out he was on Earth.

Upon grabbing some burgers, Leonardo sat across from Lucifer who happily ate his own food. While also beginning to feel a bit awkward about this meeting. Since after all, he is having a meal with his girlfriend's father whom she intensely dislikes.

"So, what are your plans? I know among humans there is this rite of passage where the girl's father will question their boyfriend's future plans if they are young." Lucifer asked between bites.

"But neither of us is human?" Leonardo pointed out.

"Well I've been waiting to do this? I thought I would have to wait longer, and I didn't get to do it with the munchkin." Lucifer said as he sighs. "Granted she probably isn't a munchkin anymore. How is Trixie anyways?"

"Living a good life, been to outer space too." Leonardo shrugged. "She likes to talk about it, since it is one of her happiest moments in her life. Not many can claim to have been to outer space during this time."

"Is that so?" Lucifer said. "Well, I thought her happiest moment was meeting me."

"Aren't you a narcissistic one?" Leonardo dryly said.

After eating a few bites, Leonardo decided to change topics for a bit. Besides eating and bickering about off hand topics. There really wasn't much else going on between them since Lucifer seemed to drift off the topic of his future.

"Ah! Look at the time. I have to get back to hell."

"Oi! At least say you visit your girlfriend Chloe." Leonardo said.

"I'm sure she won't mind." Lucifer gave a small wave.

Then the man was gone after his white wings appeared. Which made Leonardo a bit annoyed since he didn't clean up his meal.

"I didn't realize that the god humans believe in exists on this planet. It is very rare in the universe for such a thing. Krypton was said to have a couple eons ago, and knew a few planets that had one or two throughout the ages." Raya said with a surprised look.

"What's so surprising. This planet is very strange as dimensional gods love to come and go from this planet." Leonardo picked his finger nail.

"Really? Earth doesn't seem to have much to offer for such treatment." Raya sighed as she rubbed her head fiercely due to being unable to figure it out.

"It might not offer much, but it's the way it is." Leonardo shrugged.

Darkseid, various universe tyrants, alien invaders and so on will come and go from the planet. It is a very strange truth to be told since like Raya stated. Earth really doesn't offer much and once news of kryptonian are on this planet protecting. Only those who want to challenge them would come like War World Margo.
