Yu-gi-oh! Duelist Showdown!

Previously on Yu-gi-oh! Duelist Showdown! Clyde said, "Well, well, well. Look who it is, the only person I've ever lost to." Joseph said, "Hello, Clyde." Clyde showed Joseph his deck and said, "What do you say to a re-match?" Joseph said, "Clyde Tinker. I accept your challenge." Jenn said, "Clyde's in a re-match with Joseph. I got to see this. Maybe even the people will enjoy it." Clyde said, "I play Gamma The Magnet Warrior (1500/1800) in Attack Mode. Attack him directly!" Gamma attacked Joseph's Life Points, and Joseph lost 1500 Life Points, bringing him down to 6500. Clyde said, "I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200) in Attack Mode." Joseph said, "Activate trap, Palace Dungeon." Then Gamma's power dropped from 1500 to 1200, and Bubbleman's dropped from 800 to 500. Joseph said, "I play the field spell, Queen's Palace. I can combine Queen's Palace with Palace Dungeon and make this field a giant castle with its very own dungeon. And with Queen's Palace in play, no dragons are allowed on the field." Clyde said, "I play Breaker The Magical Warrior (1600/1000) in Attack Mode, and thanks to his arrival, I can destroy one of your magic or trap cards." Joseph said, "He destroyed my Palace Dungeon trap." Clyde said, "That's right. And now that I have, I'll take control of this duel."

Clyde had 5500 Life Points remaining, and Joseph had 6500 Life Points remaining. Clyde said, "And now it's time for me to see if I can do anything else." Clyde said, "First, I'll lay one card face down and give you a taste of your medicine by playing Swords of Revealing Light." Then, everyone watching the duel shielded their eyes while a bright light shined overhead, and The Swords of Revealing Light surrounded Joseph's field. Clyde said, "Now you can't make any attack for three turns while I can." Frank said, "Three turns, that's not good." Joseph said, "Relax, I've dealt with this card before and won." Jenn said, "Ah, yes. I remember that duel. I set it up myself. Too bad Ralph lost." Clyde said, "You've escaped the Swords of Revealing Light before, but that doesn't mean you'll do it again. I'll switch Queen's Knight (1500/1600) into Attack Mode. Sadly, neither of my monsters is powerful enough to destroy your ninja, so I'll use Card Destruction to replace my hand with a new one. I'll see if I can draw one for the next turn." Joseph said, "Maybe you will, but Card Destruction also works on my hand. Both players must discard their cards and draw new ones." Clyde discarded Fusion Gate and Recovery and drew O-Oversoul and E-Emergency Call. Joseph threw out Megan the Wizard and then drew Tower's Dungeon. Clyde said, "Let's see what I can do next while you're trapped." Clyde looked at his hand and said, "I play E-Emergency Call. This card lets me pick an Elemental Hero monster from my deck and bring it to my hand. And I think I'll go with Bladedge from our last duel. Once I get him on the field, I doubt you'll beat him again." Joseph wasn't too worried. Clyde said, "I'll end my turn."

Joseph drew The Masked Avenger from his deck and thought, "Yes, The Masked Avenger, but I need to sacrifice another monster to summon him. Once I get him on the field, he should be able to help." Joseph said, "I'll lay 1 card face down and end my turn." Clyde drew Jack's Knight from his deck. I'll now sacrifice Queen's Knight and my defense card to summon Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800). Bladedge, attack his ninja." Joseph said, "Big mistake; you activated my trap card." Clyde thought, "I should have known." Joseph said, "Tower's Dungeon. I now combine Tower's Dungeon with Queen's Palace, so now my castle's tower has a dungeon." Then, a bunch of chains shackled Elemental Hero Bladedge's arms. Clyde said, "What's happening." Joseph said, "Tower's Dungeon traps any opposing monster that attacks. And kind of like the Palace Dungeon trap you destroyed last turn, it prevents all the monsters it traps from attacking since they can't move with their arms shackled, and then it reduces their power by 700 points." Then Elemental Hero Bladedge's Power dropped from 2600 to 1900. Joseph said, "I would counterattack, but I can't attack as long as Swords of Revealing Light are in play." Clyde said, "Fine, I'll switch my Breaker into defense mode and end my turn." While they were dueling, one of the duelists took out his camera, another took out his laptop, and they started to webcast the duel. People who weren't watching the match on their TVs began to watch the battle on their smartphones, tablets, and computers. Joseph drew Deal with the Enemy from his deck and said, "I'll pass this turn since I still can't attack. One more turn, and I'm free." Clyde drew Beta the Magnet Warrior from his deck and said, "I summon Beta The Magnet Warrior (1700/1600) in defense mode and end my turn. Ella said, "Joseph's got Clyde on nothing but defense. If he has his combo in play, his field is untouchable." Luna said, "Yes, but I wouldn't count Clyde out yet. You saw how Clyde destroyed Joseph's last trap. He may have a trick to come back from this." Joseph drew Campsite from his deck and said, "On my next turn, I'll be free to attack, but I'm going to pass this turn." The Swords of Revealing Light then vanished.

Clyde drew Lullaby of Obedience from his deck and said, "I pass. There's nothing I can do this turn." Joseph drew Polymerization from his deck and thought, "Bingo. If I summon The Masked Avenger, I can also summon his horse. Then I'll use Polymerization to fuse them." Joseph said, "Malena, the Ninja Girl, destroy Elemental Hero Bladedge. Then Malena destroyed Elemental Hero Bladedge, and Clyde lost 400 Life Points, bringing him down to 5100. Jenn then clapped for Joseph, and so did his family and fans. Joseph said, "Ok, I'm ending my turn." Clyde drew Emergency Provisions from his deck and said, "This move might ring a bell. I lay two cards face down. Now I play Emergency Provisions to destroy the face-down cards I just played, but I'll keep the one I already had on the field. Now, I get 2000 more Life Points." Clyde's Life Points then rose from 5100 to 7100. Clyde said, "I'm afraid that puts me in the lead." Luna said, "Told you Clyde would find a way to make a comeback." Nick said, "It's close, but with only 600 Life Points separating their scores, it's anyone's game." Clyde said, "I'll end my turn with that." Joseph drew Megan, The Talking Horse, from his deck and said, "Malena, The Ninja Girl, destroy Breaker, The Magical Warrior." Malena destroyed Breaker the Magical Warrior, and Clyde sent him to the graveyard. Ella said, "Joseph's destroying Clyde's defenses individually." Joseph's mom said, "It's only a matter of time before Clyde's wide open." Jenn said, "Joseph may have fewer Life Points, but he has the upper hand." Joseph said, "Ok, I'll end my turn."

Clyde drew Hero Kid from his deck and said, "I play one monster face down in defense mode and end my turn." Clyde thought, "I still have my Monster Reborn card on the field. If I use it to bring back Bladedge, I'd be safe since his ninja is too weak. But if I attack, he'll get trapped again. So, I can only defend until I draw a card that can help." Joseph drew Toronado, The Masked Avenger's Horse, from his deck and said, "I play Polymerization. This card will fuse my Masked Avenger with his horse, Toronado. Now I can summon The Masked Horse Rider (2700/2800). Lucky for you, I can't use him until the next turn. But for now, I'll activate my duel armor and fuse myself with my Masked Horse Rider." Then Joseph became The Masked Horse Rider, and everyone watching became impressed.

Joseph said, "Ok, Malena, destroy Beta The Magnet Warrior!" Then Malena sliced Beta the Magnet Warrior in half and destroyed him. Joseph said, "I end my turn." Clyde looked at his deck and thought, "Nothing in my deck is strong enough to attack Joseph, not even my Bladedge, and Joseph already beat him. Only my Valkyrion could stand up to it, but I can't summon him with Beta and Gamma in the graveyard. It looks like I'll need a magic card to beat him." Clyde drew Elemental Hero Sparkman from his deck and thought, "This card can't help, but it doesn't hurt to put it out on the field." Clyde said, "I play one monster face down in defense mode and end my turn."

Joseph drew Ninja Silver Throwing Stars and said, "I play Ninja Silver Throwing Stars, raising Malena The Ninja Girl's power by 1000 points." Then, Malena's power rose from 2300 to 3300. Frank said, "Alright, it now has 3300 attack points." Joseph said, "Now use the throwing stars and shatter that defense card." Malena then destroyed Elemental Hero Sparkman. Joseph said, "Since I'm wearing my armor and attacked with my free monster, I can't attack you again, so I'll end my turn." Clyde drew Mirror Gate from his deck and said, "I lay 1 card face down and reveal Monster Reborn. Now I can return my Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) to the field." Then Elemental Hero Baldedge and Clyde both started to glow. Joseph had him in his eye and said, "What in the world." Clyde said, "You thought you were the only one with duel armor. While I fused with my monster too, so now I'm Elemental Hero Bladedge, and you're The Masked Horse Rider." Jenn clapped and said, "Super. Two armored duelists about to go at it." Jenn watched Clyde and Joseph duel on her TV and saw them both wearing the armor she gave them. Esther, the Mind Reader, said, "This should be fun." Clyde said, "I end my turn." Joseph drew Jenny, The Queen's Guard, from his deck and said, "Here's a familiar face for you. Jenny, The Queen's Guard (1400/1500) in defense mode. And since she's The Queen's Guard in The Queen's Palace, she gets 200 more points. Then Jenny, The Queen's Guard, rose from 1400/1500 to 1600/1700. Joseph said, "My castle combo is almost complete. I would like to see you come back from this." Clyde scowled at Joseph because his combo was getting on his nerves.
