Chapter 33: CH: 33 I'm Faster, Stronger
[Chapter: 33 I'm Faster, Stronger]
Every car was racing on the track, and Shane was leading the way, with a touch of excitement in his eyes. It seemed that the car and the hundred thousand dollars would belong to him.
Everyone watching was shouting loudly. Tessa looked at the leading Shane with pride in her eyes and yelled, "Shane, you are the best!"
At halfway, William spat out the cigarette in his mouth out of the car window. "This speed is really too slow, so I'm going to start ramping things up a bit."
William's car accelerated, and on the speed dial, the pointer was spinning rapidly, soaring to the limit of 250 km/h.
On the track, everyone looked at William like he was mad. He was driving at max speed, and this could cause an accident with the smallest mistake. "Is he going to die? Going at this speed is simply wishing for death."
When the speed reaches the limit, a person's sight will be limited, and everything will become blurred and couldn't be seen directly. Not only that, the car will start breaking, the motor will be heated to a certain extent, and it will explode.
"Crazy fucker," Shane said, looking at William, who was chasing after him in the rearview mirror, and stepped on the accelerator. This must be his win.
The endpoint was very close; it was less than 500 meters. For a sports car that reaches the limit, it is only a few seconds.
Boom!
William ran past with a bang, the fuel tank burst, and the entire car was moving under the impact, like it was flying with the burning flames.
The young men and women who looked at the scene froze for a moment, then shouted and cheered one after another. For this kind of thing, they liked it.
The sports car that took off due to the explosion crossed the finish line first. It fell heavily on the ground and then rolled several times on the ground.
Shane's car rushed over after William's sports car crossed the finish line, followed by the other four cars. Everyone got out of the car, and the audience who were present surrounded William's car, but they didn't dare to come too close to it, in fear of dying.
"He died," Shane shook his head.
"That's what he asked for. I've never seen such a stupid person," one said dismissively.
"But he did win; his car crossed the finish line first," a man smiled.
Bang!
With a bang, the door of the burning sports car flew more than ten meters, and a hand stretched out from it.
Everyone was taken aback. "He can't be alive. Not after all this."
William climbed out of the car door, stood up, put out the several small fires on his body, took out a cigarette and smoked it, and then started walking toward Shane while his clothes were still on fire.
"So handsome."
"So cool."
"Good man who pretends."
"Such a hang is like no one else."
The young men and women who watched all made cheering sounds. Some even waved and secretly took his photos, since to them he had done the impossible.
"So regarding my win, do you have any opinions?" William held his chin and asked.
"You did cross the line first, so you won," one person said.
William nodded. "That's good, so I can get one of you to give me their car and the 50,000 US dollars."
"It's natural. Who do you want to give it to?" While the six people prayed in their hearts: Please don't choose me.
"Shane," Tessa ran over.
William glanced at Tessa and said with a smile, "The guy who was just called out to—Shane, was it? The person I choose would be him."
The other five breathed a sigh of relief. "That's right, Shane. You won a lot in the previous races, so it's time for you to pay up."
Shane's face changed. "What are you talking about? I recently bought a car with all of my money. Do you want me to lose everything?"
"Although we sympathize with you, the rules are rules, and you have accepted them."
Tessa yelled, "How can you do this? Didn't you play together? And you, why did you just choose Shane?"
William smiled and said, "It's cool, right? I chose him because you called him when I was thinking about who to choose."
"Damn," Tessa clenched her fists.
William exhaled a cigarette and sprayed it on Shane's face. "Alright then, so what will you do?"
"I won't give you my car. As for the fifty thousand dollars, I can't do that either," Shane said lightly.
William then lightly said, "Oh, you have a strong will, so be it. But let your girlfriend accompany me for a day; that will settle our account just fine."
"Don't even think about it," roared Shane.
Tessa also looked at William in anger. "Bastard."
"You won't? So how about this: I will give you another chance to man up. You will fight with me. You win, your debt is paid. But if you lose, you will be lending your girlfriend," William said while spreading his hands.
"Why did you make me a prize in a bet? I haven't accepted that!" Tessa glared at William.
"That's right. Please tell me, what will happen to the people who violate the rules in this place?" William asked lightly of a person there.
"Dropping your car, breaking your hands, and never setting foot in this place again," one person replied.
William looked sympathetically. "Well, so cruel. So be it. Although I sympathize with you, the rules cannot be broken."
"Wait," Tessa called. "Okay, Shane, you can go fight with him. I accept the conditions."
"But..." Shane was hesitant.
Tessa looked at Shane. "Do it. You can defeat this arrogant clown."
"Um," Shane nodded.
William raised his hands. "Dear brothers and sisters, where is the applause?"
"Oooooooooooh," the men and women cried out.
William erected a middle finger. "Boy, I'll defeat you with this finger."
"Damn, don't look down on me!" Shane growled, rushed toward William, and threw a punch.
William avoided it easily. "It's too slow. Even turtles are faster than you."
"Shut up," Shane called. His fists were moving fast. Of course, this speed seemed slower to William than an old man playing chess.
"Forget it. I can't stand it anymore. I will give you a chance and let you hit me, so take your best shot," William stood still.
Shane punched William's stomach fiercely. "Take that!"
"Ha. Is that it? Is that all your strength?"
Shane didn't understand what was going on, but he felt that his face seemed to be hit hard with something, and an unshakable force brought his whole body pain starting from his face.
"Ah!" Shane screamed. His body flew up, and he twisted three times in the air like a diving athlete before falling heavily on the ground.
"Shane!" Tessa screamed and ran quickly to check on Shane.
William raised his hands and accepted the crazy shouts of young men and women.
They were cheering. This was the nature of human beings: taking pleasure from watching fights, just like MMA or UFC in every world.
