Wizard: I Can Refine Everything

Chapter 8: Civilization Alliance, Titan Nest

The Abyss is equivalent to an organization, with all Abyss Creatures as its members.

And an organization requires not only a reasonable promotion mechanism and reward system, but also a corresponding punishment mechanism to discipline those who don't follow the rules.

Among these disciplinary measures, the First Level punishment is the most severe.

And the form this punishment takes is enslavement.

As Richard made his decision, a sense of foreboding flashed through Beelzebub's mind as he regained consciousness.

He suddenly discovered that his grasp over the Power of Abyss had vanished.

But how could this be possible?

Even though Richard held supreme authority, it's impossible for him to strip away Beelzebub's power to use the Power of Abyss.

To be able to become the Abyss Dominator as an Abyss Demon is akin to being the embodiment of the Abyss; stripping him of the right to use the Power of Abyss is tantamount to kicking him out of the Abyss System.

This is absolutely impossible.

But soon enough, Beelzebub realized what had happened to him.

"Damn it, this is Abyssal punishment!"

Beelzebub's expression instantly turned to utter fear, for Abyss is like a mother to Abyss Creatures; the mother gives selfless love to her children but also disciplines those who are unruly.

And now, he was that unruly child.

In an instant, the Power of Abyss within Beelzebub suddenly erupted, transforming into chains under the adjustment of Abyssal Will, piercing into Beelzebub's flesh and even soul.

Beelzebub wanted to resist, but as soon as he had this thought, he sensed a tremendous fear.

If he dared to resist, the Abyssal Will would definitely erase his personality, turning him completely into a puppet to be manipulated at will.

Even if he could withstand the erosion of personality, Samuel would come to crush his soul.

Although Samuel was somewhat annoyed with the Abyss, he truly was a "good child."

Watching the chains pierce into his body, Beelzebub knew that the gambling duel between him and Richard was over.

He had lost completely, even losing himself.

However, Beelzebub was a pure Abyss Demon. Even after being the Abyss Dominator for who knows how many years, he quickly adjusted his mindset.

The Abyss is a place where the winner takes all; for both losers and winners, being treated as dogs is already considered a great fortune.

The punishment lasted seventy-seven minutes, and the Abyssal Will left seven thousand seven hundred seventy-seven chains on Beelzebub.

These chains represent his sentence; each year, a chain will break.

During these seven thousand seven hundred seventy-seven years, he would exist as Richard's contract slave.

Richard's voice echoed in Beelzebub's ear.

"Beelzebub, come to see me."

In the next moment, Beelzebub felt the chains on his body tightening.

If he wished to defy Richard's order, these chains would gradually tear his soul apart.

Beelzebub sighed, "Ah, I tried to steal a chicken only to lose the bait. This time, I've really lost big."

After finishing his words, a Teleportation Gate to the Abyss appeared before him.

And on the other side of the gate, Richard, who had completely restored his body, was leisurely waiting for his servant to arrive.

Crossing through the Teleportation Gate, Beelzebub looked at Richard not far away, his face once again filled with that ingratiating smile.

"Lord Richard, you've summoned me."

"Lord?"

Beside Richard, Samuel looked at Beelzebub, puzzled, as though asking if he was confused today.

You and I are at the same level as Dominators, and you call this lad your lord?

Seeing Samuel's confusion, Beelzebub couldn't help but lament internally.

"This Physique Evolution brute is the real deal. As long as he doesn't make any mistakes, even with authority suppression, that lad can't make much of a ripple."

Physique Evolution is a strictly hierarchical Evolution Road; as one advances, surpassing ranks in battle becomes increasingly difficult.

At the level of Dominators, even with a top Bloodline like an Abyss Titan, Richard could not possibly surpass ranks to defeat Samuel.

Richard smiled at Beelzebub, "Oh, I'm not a lord, Beelzebub, you really know how to flatter me."

Seeing Richard's smile, Beelzebub felt a surge of anger but was helpless.

There's no way around it; circumstances were beyond his control, and he had to swallow his pride.

If his words sound pleasant, maybe he could cut less meat when carving.

Beelzebub did not believe that after Richard put a collar on him, he would leave his treasures untouched.

Richard walked over to Beelzebub and affectionately patted his shoulder.

"Everyone will meet at the same conference table in the future, just call me by my name."

Samuel didn't know what had happened, but his intuition told him that something significant had occurred between Beelzebub and Richard.

However, since this matter posed no harm to him, he couldn't be bothered to investigate further.

Richard took out the Destiny Contract paper from his pocket, and Samuel carefully inspected it, even scrutinizing the patterns on the contract.

As an Abyss Demon, he had seen too many instances where tricks were played on contracts.

Although he believed Richard wouldn't play any tricks, being extra cautious wouldn't hurt.

After confirming that there were no issues with the contract, Samuel left his mark on it.

The moment he left his mark, the entire contract turned into a ray of light and vanished into space.

A constraint simultaneously descended on all creatures within the two civilizations.

Far away in the Wizard Civilization, all the crowns of the Truth Council sensed this constraint.

"It succeeded so quickly? It seems he has considerable influence over there in the Abyss." The Alchemy Crown looked towards the direction of the Abyss Civilization, muttering to himself.

He had witnessed Samuel's strength, the power of this Abyss Dominator was so formidable that even he and the Plastic Energy Crown couldn't fully assure a victory, at most they could draw.

On the frontline, the Plastic Energy Crown also looked towards the direction of the Abyss.

"Was it signed in just one year? Sure enough, the rising bird cannot be stopped."

The Plastic Energy Crown shook his head, calming his turbulent heart.

The other crowns also looked towards the Abyss Civilization almost simultaneously, some were surprised, others delighted.

There was no doubt, Richard's efficiency far exceeded their expectations.

After all, convincing two civilizations that had been at war for thousands of years to stop was by no means an easy task.

In the Endless Dimension.

Beside the gray Wizard Dimension suddenly appeared a dark red dimension, the two dimensions entangled like two intertwined snakes, or a coiled rope.

Abyss World.

Richard noticed that his share of Dimension Power had suddenly increased significantly.

The alliance with the Abyss greatly increased Richard's share of Dimension Power, a share that was even catching up with the veteran crowns, Alchemy and Plastic Energy.

Shares meant bargaining chips, meant a voice in the council.

Richard's gaze suddenly became deep. If his share continued to increase at this rate, then becoming the "Leader" of the Wizard Civilization wasn't impossible.

"Thinking a bit too far ahead." Richard blinked, putting the idea to the back of his mind.

He had not yet broken the limit, dreaming of becoming a leader was pure fantasy.

A voice is important, but fists are more crucial. Without enough strength to make others acknowledge him, no matter how many shares he had, they'd merely be a faction in the council.

With the signing complete, Samuel didn't linger in the Abyss World.

Since an alliance had been formed, it was reasonable for him to go to the Wizard Civilization's domain.

A Civilization Devourer was such a good opponent that he was unable to contain himself.

After he left, Beelzebub looked at Richard, starting to silently await the negotiations.

"Beelzebub, I've heard that all strategic weapons of the Abyss Civilization are your handiwork. Is this true?"

Beelzebub nodded slightly, "Indeed, all the strategic weapons of the Abyss, including the Nest, Bio-Factory, Demon Conversion Factory, Abyss Net Path... are my creations."

Richard watched this dominator, Beelzebub spoke without any hint of pride, as if these things were just trivial creations, hardly worth mentioning.

"That's good." Richard smiled, "Then creating a nest for producing Abyss Titans shouldn't be difficult for you, right?"

Beelzebub was taken aback.

"You want to mass produce Abyss Titans?"

Richard nodded slightly, "Indeed, the future war situation is very grim, those ordinary demons no longer even qualify as regular soldiers.

Only creatures like Titans can become the backbone of the war."

"Then you might be disappointed." Beelzebub shook his head, "Abyss Titans cannot be born as easily as ordinary demons. If my research isn't wrong, no matter how many resources you invest, Abyss Titans require a five-month gestation period.

And that's not counting the resource consumption during cultivation."

"Five months? Isn't five months great?" Richard asked somewhat puzzled.

A five-month gestation time was already about as long as the gestation of a Half-blood Wizard. For pureblood humans, this period would even be shorter.

Beelzebub was again taken aback.

"Five months is short? Such a gestation period is extremely taxing even during our war with the Light Ball. You can't possibly build a nest everywhere."

Richard became even more confused upon hearing this.

"How could it be taxing? You first have ordinary demons hold the front line, and then train the Titans at the back. With the Titans' strength, even the strong defenses of the gods must be broken."

"...Training?"

Beelzebub looked at Richard, feeling there must be a madman between them.

"The training ground for Abyss Demons is the battlefield. Abyss Demons are a race born for battle, no need for further training."

Richard suddenly understood.

The case was solved, Beelzebub hadn't considered training at all, and most likely hadn't considered equipment either, only calculating the Abyss Titans' survival rate on the battlefield with top demons.

For the Abyss Civilization, demons were plentiful.

When a batch died, simply send another. As long as there were enough in number, some demons would survive.

Compared to the Galaxy Mayfly, the Abyss Demons' combat style was more akin to a swarm acting at all cost.

"Five months is enough, do it like this." Richard stated bluntly.

He then looked towards Talal Peak.

"These newly born Titans are in your hands, Talal Peak. I've already taught you the Abyss Evolution Field, make sure to train these Abyss Titans into an elite Titan Legion."

Talal Peak solemnly saluted.

"Rest assured, I guarantee to train them into the most elite Titan Legion."

Richard nodded, then turned his gaze to Beelzebub, with a smile that made Beelzebub's heart race in fear.

"With the matter of the Titan Nest solved, let's talk about the theft of bloodlines."

Beelzebub stepped back repeatedly under this gaze, a sense of helplessness surging in his heart.

"My precious!"
