Wizard: I Can Refine Everything

Chapter 13: Elemental Monarch

On the boundless rocky plains, countless Earth Elemental Creatures were roaming.

Earth Elemental Creatures are also beings; they need to eat too. Lower-level Earth Elemental Creatures can only consume ores, while the slightly better ones eat gemstones. Higher-level Earth Elemental Creatures feed on the lower-level ones.

Richard cast an Elemental Disguise on himself, walking across the plains like a Stone Giant.

The Earth Element Territory is a dangerous realm. Although Richard was confident that he could easily defeat an Elemental Monarch if he encountered one, he had to consider one thing.

That was whether, during his entanglement with the Elemental Monarch, other Elemental Monarchs might be drawn in.

Although there was conflict between Monarchs, when it came to resisting foreign enemies, the Elemental Creatures were often very united.

As he walked, faint energy waves spread outward centered on Richard. Here, using spiritual power was somewhat too ostentatious, and its exploration range wasn't broad enough.

To truly explore, he still needed to use the traditional energy wave detection.

Rumble rumble...

A Giant Sandworm, resembling an earthworm but countless times larger, suddenly burst out of the ground beside Richard.

At the moment it emerged, its grinder-like mouthpiece enveloped Richard like a shroud.

"Giant Sandworms really are as brainless as recorded in the books,"

Richard remarked calmly from within its mouthpiece.

The next instant, the rotating mouthpiece of the Giant Sandworm shattered as if it had encountered a solid steel ingot. Immediately, a giant stone spear pierced through the Sandworm.

Splutch!

Richard ripped open the Sandworm's mouthpiece with his hand, and the green corrosive fluid splattered all over his disguise like an exploding mass.

After emerging, Richard glanced around.

Giant Sandworms are one of the few half-elemental creatures that can survive in the Earth Element Territory.

Elemental Creatures are also intelligent. A Giant Sandworm can help these Earth Elemental Creatures dig tunnels underground, search for ore veins, and even serve as a weapon against opposing Earth Element Tribes.

It is a valuable asset for an Elemental Tribe.

And now, having killed a Sandworm, the members of the Earth Element Tribe would soon appear.

As Richard anticipated, a few rock giants emerged from a hill fifty kilometers away after he killed the Sandworm.

"Hope these guys have some sense."

Soon after, those rock giants appeared before Richard.

"Which tribe are you from? Why did you kill our Sandworm!"

Richard looked at the group of rock giants in front of him. These Stone Giants were about three meters tall, with the tallest one being nearly four meters. From their appearance, they resembled the ancient Magic Statues Richard had seen before.

Perhaps, the Wizards of the Age of Enlightenment were inspired by these Stone Giants to create the Magic Statues.

In their center, the tallest Stone Giant was adorned with many gemstones and held a metal spear.

From the golden patterns on the spear, it seemed it was alloyed with Pure Gold.

This is good news; Pure Gold is rare in the Earth Element Territory, only obtainable when the Elemental Balance World from the Material World settles into the Earth Element Territory.

Having a spear with Pure Gold implies this giant is most likely directly descended from an Elemental Lord.

Snap.

Richard snapped his fingers, and Magic Chains emerged from the ground, firmly holding these Earth Element Giants in place.

Even though these Earth Element Giants possessed strength comparable to that of Level 3 Creatures, they were powerless before the Magic Chains.

Meanwhile, Richard strode up to the tallest Stone Giant, his immense spiritual power surging from his body like a tide, instantly scanning all the Stone Giant's memories.

During this process, Richard didn't even use witchcraft.

The gap between them was so vast that even without using anything, Richard could easily probe the Stone Giant's memories.

"It turns out he's a neglected youngest son."

Richard swiftly examined the Stone Giant's memories. This Stone Giant indeed was a direct descendant of an Elemental Lord. However, due to his innate weak strength, he was cast into this tribe directly under the Elemental Lord, left to fend for himself from a young age.

Snap.

Richard snapped his fingers again, this time releasing a Group Forgetfulness Technique.

All the Stone Giants forgot everything that had just happened, and Richard's figure vanished from the spot.

In the Stone Giant's memory, he found the location of the Elemental Lord's palace.

It was on a mountain tens of thousands of kilometers away. The interior of the entire mountain had been hollowed out by the Elemental Lord's slaves for use as his palace.

Tens of thousands of kilometers away.

Honglonglong Heiyan was enjoying his lordly life in his palace.

He lay on a gigantic lounge chair, dozens of small Elemental Sprites fluttering around him, polishing his body with the latest metal powder.

His over-twenty-meter gray body looked exceptionally smooth after being polished with the powder.

He himself was gnawing on a massive Elemental Crystal.

Suddenly, Honglonglong Heiyan paused his eating.

A faint elemental fluctuation, a "sound wave" of Elemental Creatures, came from somewhere in the air.

"Honglonglong, I'm here to see you."

"Fa... Father!?"

Honglonglong Heiyan abruptly sat up from the lounge chair. With a casual wave, he dismissed his Elemental Sprites, then hurriedly left the chair and ran towards the main hall of the palace.

Even though he was the offspring of an Elemental Monarch, this identity held no significance to his Elemental Monarch father.

If his father was dissatisfied, he could swallow him at any time.

Between elemental creatures, emotions are not as abundant as those of flesh creatures.

In the main hall, Wizard looked at the palace with exotic beauty, feeling a slight sigh in his heart.

Even among elemental creatures, there are master craftsmen.

The walls of this palace were painted with one masterpiece after another using gemstone powder, depicting the great achievements of this Elemental Lord, each full of spiritual essence.

However, before Wizard could finish admiring them, a series of heavy footsteps sounded from within the palace.

A magnificent Stone Giant, twenty meters tall, rushed out from the back hall.

"Oh? You came out by yourself." Wizard saw Honglonglong Heiyan emerging, and was slightly surprised.

But this surprise was mostly delight, not astonishment.

Without hesitation, Wizard waved his hand, and countless Magic Chains emerged from the Void beside Honglonglong Heiyan. In the blink of an eye, this Elemental Lord, who could rival Fifth Level Creatures, was sealed by Wizard.

Splitting open space, Wizard was about to take it back to the Abyss World.

But just as he opened the rift, a pressure, as if a mountain, suddenly descended from above him.

"Flesh scum, where are you taking my offspring!?"

Hmm?

Wizard was suddenly stunned.

No, how could an Elemental Monarch suddenly appear?

However, there was no time for Wizard to think it through, as he had to return to the Material World.

Entangling with an Elemental Monarch in the Elemental Territory was not a wise move.

Vast Energy surged from within him, instantly stabilizing the rift that was about to collapse under the Dominator's might.

In the last second before the Elemental Monarch's attack arrived, Wizard plunged headlong into the Material World with Honglonglong Heiyan.

Boom!

A fist as massive as a mountain fell from the sky, instantly crushing Honglonglong Heiyan's palace.

Following this, a tremendous roar swept across the land instantly.

"Flesh scum! I will kill you!"

In the Abyss World, Wizard looked at the already healed space rift, feeling a slight regret in his heart.

It didn't pursue.

In the Elemental Territory, Wizard didn't dare to provoke an Elemental Monarch, but in the Material World, it was a different story.

Without backup, this Elemental Monarch was merely materials delivered to his door.

Suddenly, a shattering sound echoed in Wizard's ears.

He saw the space beside him suddenly crack like a spider's web, and behind those cracks, pure Earth Element seeped through like flowing sand.

Wizard's face lit up with joy: "It really dares to pursue."

Before Wizard could make a move, three Abyssal Guardians appeared by his side.

The Inspector glanced at the cracks and respectfully said to Wizard, "Sir, is this Elemental Monarch your prey?"

Wizard nodded: "Since it pursued, it is. Open up space and let it in."

"Yes, Sir."

The Inspector glanced at his two colleagues, then released the Abyss' space defense.

The Abyss World was a weapon; without releasing its defense, despite the fearsome spectacle that Elemental Monarch created, it wouldn't be able to enter the Abyss World even with all its might.

Rumble!

With the defense lifted, the cracked spaces instantly shattered.

A massive Earth Elemental Lord, comparable in size to a small planet, crossed space, its pressure like rivers and mountains, enough to crush Level 3 Creatures to mush and make World Masters kneel down.

A sound like a mountain collapse erupted from within him.

"Flesh scum! I swear by the name of Black Rock, I will let your soul and the souls of your disgusting kin wail in my sands for a hundred thousand years... Hmm?"

Black Rock's rant abruptly stopped because it realized it seemed to have arrived in a remarkable place.

The World Tree in front of it, why is it even larger than it? Why has the space of this world suddenly become so resilient when it was so fragile just a moment ago?

Why do the three flesh scums that appeared in front of it suddenly show no fear?

In an instant, Elemental Monarch Black Rock finally realized something was wrong.

No good, it was a trap!

Black Rock immediately wanted to withdraw, but was the Abyss a place where it could come and go as it pleased?

The forms of the three Abyssal Guardians suddenly grew, each exuding unfathomable pressure. Swinging the tentacles on their bodies, the space rift behind Black Rock instantly sealed.

Simultaneously, an invisible field suddenly expanded from the three Guardians, instantly covering an area of several tens of thousands of kilometers.

Under this field, space became extraordinarily solid—Wizard couldn't fight Black Rock in the Endless Dimension, but battles between Dominators still caused destruction to the Abyss World. Reinforcing space in advance could greatly reduce this destruction.

"Kekeke, since you're here, don't be in a hurry to leave."

Wizard casually tossed Honglonglong Heiyan into a Dimension Space, his tiny body instantly becoming several hundred thousand meters tall.

He wore a strange smile, and his body entwined with dark chains emitted an aura that made Black Rock tremble.

"I don't want much, I just want your soul, your body, and your treasured wealth... that's all."
