Who Stole My Eggs?

Chapter 44 - I

Master Gou Tian was very vigilant. When he saw the situation was different, he immediately said: “Fellow villagers, I will come again tomorrow, I had to rush to get rid of the demon!”

The crowd of onlookers didn’t know why the water suddenly appeared. They thought it was Master Gou Tian’s magic power and felt amazed once more.

Master Gou Tian opened a linen bag and commanded the demon to get inside.

In full view of everyone, the demon, which was over two meters tall, was completely sucked into the small bag, and Master Gou Tian easily carried it onto his shoulders.

This “magic power” caused another burst of lively applause.

The wind blew under Master Gou Tian’s feet, and he quickly passed through the crowd and went to a secluded place outside the city.

After leaving the city gate, the Taoist boy who had been following him turned into a piece of kraft paper and fell to the ground.

Master Gou Tian picked up the brown paper and stuffed it into his sleeve, looked behind him suspiciously, and found nothing unusual. Then he breathed a sigh of relief, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, and walked quickly towards home.

Xie Zuo and Huo Yao revealed themselves, looked at each other, and chased after Master Gou Tian in tacit understanding.

They followed Master Gou Tian into an old small Taoist temple halfway up the mountain.

The door and walls of this temple were covered with dense yellow talismans, and the cinnabar on them was so red that it turned black, like dried blood.

As soon as he entered, Xie Zuo heard bursts of miserable cries, sounding like children and cubs, rushing straight to the sky like a tide.

Xie Zuo staggered and was supported by Huo Yao.

A strong anger and pain surged into Xie Zuo’s heart. He pushed Huo Yao away: “I’m fine!”

Xie Zuo bit his finger and wiped it across his forehead. Looking around, he saw the clues.

Imprisoned under that large spell were the dead souls of young demons one after another! They tried to break through the talisman and escape again and again, but they were pulled back into the talisman again and again by chains made of cinnabar that penetrated their bodies.

None of these dead souls were complete, which showed that they suffered inhuman abuse during their lifetime.

Demons were different from mortals. What they looked like before death was what their dead souls looked like.

Xie Zuo looked at the dead soul closest to him, half of its small head was missing, and the only remaining eye looked at him and cried loudly.

Xie Zuo roared, “I’m going to cut him into pieces!”

The anger was burning Xie Zuo’s body like a fire. From the demon that was being tortured in front of the crowd to these children who died tragically and could not be freed after death, they all made him angry and painful… Why should his kind be tortured like this?

This was the cruelty caused by contempt!

It was not uncommon for adult demons to kill each other. The demon world had always respected the strong, but this kind of humiliation and torture of young children was absolutely not allowed!

Huo Yao stopped Xie Zuo: “First, understand the situation clearly.” He kissed Xie Zuo’s forehead comfortingly and wiped away the blood there. “I will help you turn off this first; otherwise, you will be disturbed by the resentment here. After solving them, I will save them.”

The wailing dead souls of the young demons disappeared from Xie Zuo’s eyes. Xie Zuo hugged Huo Yao tightly and said hoarsely, “Okay!”

.

In the dark room of the Taoist temple, Master Gou Tian opened his spiritual bag and poured out the demon.

The demon laid on its back on the ground, breathing heavily, and its thick and powerful limbs twitched from time to time.

Master Gou Tian tightened the chain and stepped on its chest, “I didn’t know it, you actually can control water?”

The demon’s crimson eyes glanced at him, then quickly moved away and landed somewhere in the void.

“Tell me, are you causing trouble?” Master Gou Tian asked loudly.

“Yes, I don’t want to be burned to death.”

Master Gou Tian felt relieved and slowly loosened the chains.

The demon sat up and said, “Let me take a look at it.”

Master Gou Tian showed a proud look on his face. He took out a small clay pot from his sleeve, opened the lid, and quickly put it in front of the demon’s eyes, then put it away.

The demon stared at him: “I didn’t see clearly, let me take another look.”

“What are you looking at?” Master Gou Tian said impatiently, “It is connected to my life. It will be fine as long as I live. Are you still afraid that I will break my promise?”

The demon’s eyes were like boning knives, wanting to cut out the flesh and bones of the greedy Taoist priest in front of him and chew him into pieces!

Master Gou Tian picked up two buckets of water and poured them on the demon. He dragged the chain to a big bed in the inner room. “If you make me happy, I will let you take another look at that little brat.” He took off his clothes. He exposed his thin body like ribs and looked at the demon’s strong muscles greedily. “It’s unfair that a dirty and despicable creature like you could grow so tall!”

He climbed onto the demon’s body with a look of obsession on his face. Laughing, “Behave better…”
