NOVEL NEXT Chapter 729: We're Here For Our Android
Our ship slowly latched itself onto the docking arm of the Hefan station located in the Brakh system.
Amber would be flying the other pirate ship we captured into the station's hangar and we'll sell it on the market later.
From what I can find, this was another habitat station orbiting a barren planet that was supposedly rich with minerals that were being mined.
There were other stations hovering around the habitat station as well, which I understood were specialised foundries that were meant to refine the different types of minerals mined from the station before they were sent to the habitat station to be further processed.
In other words, there's quite a lot of heavy industries within this sector as well as businesses related to them.
And some of them rely on androids and other machinery to do those kinds of work which is why SynLife opened a branch here to sell their androids as well.
Since we're primarily here to check out the android, the only people accompanying me were Renata and Ries.
Renata was with me for obvious reasons since she would be the one eating it and Ries was tagging along because she was interested in checking out the android itself before it gets consumed.
The others would have their own free time though Amber would be helping me sell the ship that we just got from those stupid pirates.
Stepping into the habitat station, we had to go through a checkpoint that scanned us to check if we were wanted criminals before we were allowed in.
We then stepped into the lift that brought us to the main habitation level which was the giant ring that was rotating around to simulate gravity within the station.
Now we just need to find where the store is…
I opened up my Codex and tried to search if there was a map of the station that could point me to where the store was.
Connecting to the station's network, I opened up the map and searched for SynLife shops, only to realise that there were multiple of them.
Err… Which one is it?
I guess I should just call the sales rep again.
I tried to call the sales rep once more and the call rang twice before it was patched through.
Honestly, I was expecting her to answer the call while looking dishevelled or something but she was dressed perfectly.
Merissa bowed, "Miss Tera! Are there any problems?"
"Umm… I've just reached Hefan habitat station and I'm having trouble locating where the store is. You seem to have multiple branches within this station so which one should we be going to pick up our order?"
"Ah! There's no need for that! Please send me your location and I will arrange for a guide and come to fetch you!"
"Eh? That sounds like a pain. Can't you just send us the location and we'll go there ourselves?"
"No, no! How can we mistreat a Gold tier member like yourself like that? Please allow us to accommodate you instead, Miss Tera! We just need your current location!"
She seemed oddly insistent about this so I suspect that there may be some underlying reason for this. Maybe they didn't want us to see their competitors on the way there and cancel our order? Which wouldn't make sense since we already paid in full anyway.
I guess I should just take it at face value and just assume that she is sincere about this.
I tapped on my Codex and sent her our location ping.
She bowed again, "I have received your location, Miss Tera! May I know if you would be bringing any other companions with you?"
"I have two with me right now."
"Perfect! I will be with you shortly!"
Eh? Wait… She's coming over herself? Now that was certainly a surprise… I thought she was working at their main office or something… Did she specifically fly out here just to deliver my order? I can't be that big of a customer to warrant that, right? I'm only buying a single android after all.
It would be a different case if I was buying several dozen of them like our Exo-Knight instructor had been but since we're not… This seems quite excessive.
Were they also expecting me to be like the instructor and buy even more of them in the future? Then I guess they'll have to be disappointed since I wasn't.
Oh well, I won't turn down good service anyway~
I waited alongside Renata and Ries, taking the chance to look around at the city that was laid before us.
Because we were located on a ring that was spinning around the station, I could see both ends of the cityscape curve upwards to the horizon on both sides, which reminded me of a certain movie about dreams or something.
Looking around, pretty much every single person I saw had some kind of cybernetic implant on them so we actually stick out like a sore thumb, drawing looks from several passers-by.
Well… Either they were looking at us because of our lack of cybernetic implants, or it's because there's a really beautiful purple haired girl dressed in a maid uniform standing right here.
I'm pretty sure it's the latter.
Thankfully, we didn't have to wait long before a glasses wearing woman with brown hair tied up in a bun ran towards us, her high heels not holding her back in the slightest.
"Miss Tera!" Merissa greeted me, not looking out of breath despite her run. "Thank you once again for your patronage! Please allow me to guide you! Please follow me!"
We followed her as she started walking back down the path she had come from, weaving through the crowd expertly.
She also doesn't look like she had any cybernetic implants so we stood out even more now… And it also reinforces my belief that she wasn't a resident of this station and specifically came here herself to deliver our order.
This company really treats their customers well huh?
No sooner had that thought crossed my mind, she stopped in front of the road where a black sedan was parked.
The back door slid upwards to reveal a plush interior and Merissa gestured towards the opened door, "Please, Miss Tera~ It will be just a short drive to our destination~"
They even prepared a car for us… And this car definitely doesn't look cheap… Is this really normal for Gold tier members for them?
Welp… As I said, I'm not going to turn down good service.
The three of us climbed into the vehicle and the door closed as Merissa entered the driver's seat to drive off.
Damn, she's also the driver too? I was thinking that she might have gotten someone else to drive the car instead.
But they're really letting the sales rep come out to receive the customer and also be their driver at the same time? It's either their sales reps are top tier in customer service skills or they are short on staff here or something…
Renata then leaned to me and whispered, "Daddy… Can I eat this car?"
"No."
She pouted but said nothing and I thought that was it until I felt the area around my crotch slowly squeezing around my shaft.
I turned and slapped at her thigh, shooting her a pointed look.
"Mmm… At least give me some honey, Daddy…" She pouted.
"Later. If you behave. Are you a good girl?" I asked, patting her head.
"Ehehe~ I'm Daddy's good girl!" She squealed.
Ries also leaned in to paw at me, "Boss…"
I patted her head, "You're a good girl too, Ries."
"Nyaa~ I love you Boss~"
Right… Here I am sitting at the back of this car and patting the heads of these two girls…
I sure hope that there isn't a camera at the back of this car to record this… Oh who am I kidding, they probably have one. That's why I'm not going to be tempted into screwing either of them even if they were to try--
Both Ries and Renata hooked their legs over my thighs before they started rubbing themselves against me.
Girlssssss!!! Control yourselves!!! No!! Bad girls! Stop!! Stop rubbing your boobs there! Both of you are doing this on purpose!
I gave both of them a flick on their foreheads, "Behave."
Both of them whined but obeyed, going back to just letting me pat their heads.
The car ride only took five minutes before it came to a stop and Merissa stepped out from the driver's seat.
Our door then slid open and we stepped out onto the street in front of a building that was completely black in colour and looking like some kind of monolith that stretched up towards the ceiling of the station.
The building was gigantic and was clearly the biggest building around here.
"Welcome to our store, Miss Tera! Shall we head in?"
Welp… Of course.
