Chapter 3: Chapter 3: The Breaking Point
WAR
---
Scene 1: The Cost of Rebellion
Location: GFC Resistance Hideout, Caracas, South America
Time: 0300 Hours – Two Days After the Massacre
Smoke choked the air. The smell of death lingered over Caracas.
Ryan Wolfe leaned against a bloodstained wall, his hands clenched into fists. They had failed to stop General Kain. Hundreds of civilians had been slaughtered.
Now, the Dominion was hunting them down.
Mei Tanaka knelt beside Luis Castillo, stitching a bullet wound in his side. Castillo winced but forced a smirk.
"You're a terrible nurse, Tanaka."
Mei scoffed.
"I'll remember that next time you're bleeding out."
Ryan stayed silent. He was tired of losing. Tired of watching people die. But war didn't care. It only took.
Luis groaned as he sat up.
"So what's the plan, boss? Keep running?"
Ryan exhaled sharply. Running wouldn't save anyone.
"No. We hit back. Hard."
Mei looked up.
"That's suicide."
Ryan locked eyes with her.
"Then let's make it worth it."

Scene 2: The Ghost Army's First War
Location: Eastern Africa, Warlord-Controlled Territory
Time: 1700 Hours – Rebel Camp
Shin stood on a rusted truck, staring at the hundred men and women before him. They weren't soldiers. They were survivors.
And he was about to lead them into battle.
"You all know why we fight."** His voice was steady, calm.** "Not for flags. Not for power. But for something greater—a world where our children don't have to die for a piece of bread."
The crowd murmured in agreement.
A young boy, no older than 15, raised his rifle.
"But how do we beat them, Shin? They have tanks. Jets. Everything."
Shin nodded.
"We take what they have. And we use it against them."
Silence. Then, realization.
They weren't just going to fight. They were going to steal their enemy's weapons.
A slow grin spread across the boy's face.
"Let's do it."

Scene 3: The Dominion's Trap
Location: Dominion Forward Base – Africa Command
Time: 2200 Hours
General Kain stood in front of a digital war map. His cold, calculating eyes scanned the battlefield.
His lieutenant spoke carefully.
"Sir, the rebels are gathering. We believe they'll strike our convoys soon."
Kain smiled.
"Good. Let them come."
The lieutenant hesitated. "Sir?"
Kain turned, his masked face expressionless.
"We will not fight them on their terms. We will burn them alive before they get close."
A new plan was unfolding.
And it was designed to exterminate every last rebel.

Scene 4: The Battle of the Convoy
Location: Eastern Africa – Abandoned Highway
Time: 0300 Hours – Midnight Ambush
The Dominion convoy rolled through the wasteland—armored trucks, tanks, heavily armed soldiers.
Hidden in the shadows, Shin watched.
Then, he gave the signal.
Explosions ripped through the night. The first two trucks went up in flames. Gunfire erupted.
The Ghost Army swarmed like shadows. Quick. Precise. Not wasting a single bullet.
Shin took down a soldier with a swift knife strike before grabbing an assault rifle. His rebels were pushing forward, overwhelming the Dominion troops.
For a moment, it looked like victory.
Then the airstrike hit.
A wave of fire and steel crashed down, tearing through the rebels.
Shin was thrown back, his ears ringing. When he stumbled to his feet, the battlefield was a graveyard.
Dominion soldiers surrounded him.
And at the center, General Kain stepped forward.
Kain studied him.
"You fight well. But it won't matter."
Shin spat blood.
"You think killing us will stop this war?"
Kain's voice was cold.
"No. But it will make it easier."
And then—gunfire.
Not from Dominion. From above.
A helicopter swooped in, its side door open—Ryan Wolfe, Mei, and Luis firing from within.
Reinforcements had arrived.
And the war was far from over.

Scene 5: A New Enemy Rises
Location: Undisclosed Location – Hidden Bunker
Time: 0500 Hours
Far from the battle, deep in a hidden base, a dark figure watched the world burn on a screen.
He was known only as "The Architect."
His assistant approached.
"Sir, the Dominion and the GFC are tearing each other apart. Just as you planned."
The Architect smiled.
"Good. Let them destroy each other. And when the time is right…"
His eyes glowed with hunger.
"We will take everything."
